Ye Nai sighed inwardly, feeling how demanding the work was. Only two people were tasked with tagging thousands of corpses; hopefully, they won’t break their backs from exhaustion.

"You two should take turns, one works while the other rests."

The two exchanged a glance, both guessing that today’s workload would undoubtedly be imnse. Thus, the female employee started working first, while the male employee sat down to rest.

The corpses, although stark naked and rather unsightly, had one advantage: their tattoos made it easy to discern their level at a glance.

The female employee took out a stamp with automatic ink supply, adjusted a tag, then crouched down to stamp the corpses’ foreheads with a loud thunk.

Working in a crouch was a smart move, eliminating the need to repeatedly bend over. When moving, she remained crouched, standing occasionally to relieve her aching legs before squatting back down to continue.

The workload for a hundred people was neither quickly nor slowly completed; by the ti the other people finished their fruit, the female employee had already completed her task.

The secretary stood up and went over to inspect, then opened a statistics spreadsheet on her laptop and filled in the data for the hundred corpses.

"Ms. Ye Nai, these hundred were ordinary soldiers, worth 10 points each, totaling 1000 points currently. Please confirm."

Respectfully, the secretary showed the laptop screen to Ye Nai, who glanced at it slightly and then nodded in confirmation.

The next second, the tagged corpses on the ground vanished instantly, replaced by a hundred new ones.

"Keep going; no need to rush to open the conveyor belt. Once it’s on, we’ll all have to run. Count a thousand corpses, then I’ll directly throw them into the furnace. Since the data is registered, if I make a mistake, it’s my loss and none of your concern," Ye Nai said calmly.

Zhou Jing Shuo Fang, full of gratitude, replied swiftly, "Thank you, Ms. Ye Nai."

Their seating was not far from the conveyor belt, an enormous thing that typically transported miscellaneous and bacteria-filled waste. Once activated, the area would beco inhabitable. They had specially prepared protective suits beforehand, which were now unnecessary.

Thinking of this, Zhou Jing’s heart grew even more grateful for Ye Nai’s understanding.

The male employee stamped without pause, not needing to adjust the label pattern midway.

After finishing the stamping, the secretary promptly went to fill out the statistical sheets, Ye Nai glanced to confirm, then switched to a new batch of corpses.

Their coordination quickly beca rhythmic, enhancing efficiency significantly.

In their tight collaboration, a thousand corpses of ordinary soldiers were swiftly processed. Ye Nai released another hundred corpses and then got into the car; Qin Rui drove her to the furnace.

Upon reaching the furnace, Ye Nai opened the space, and heaps of corpses fell in a downpour, finishing the processing within seconds, efficient and clean.

Returning to the table, the next batch of a hundred corpses was nearly complete.

Despite having dealt with over a thousand corpses, there was no sign of an end. The group had been busy for a long ti and had lost interest in chatting, quietly occupying themselves by browsing their phones.

Even Qin Rui’s team mbers had received verbal permission from Ye Nai to relax, having brought them chairs to avoid standing guard. The team freely browsed phones and ate as they pleased, only needing to control phone volu.

By midday, the garbage factory manager ca to invite them to the cafeteria for a al.

The manager knew they were busy inside and dared not enter recklessly, speaking to Qin Rui’s team from beyond the barrier.

Once the ssage was relayed inside, the group finished processing the batch on hand, Ye Nai tidied up, and everyone headed to the cafeteria.

Having eaten and drunk their fill without ti for rest, the increasingly hot weather led to declining work efficiency. Still, if they didn’t finish today, they’d have to continue tomorrow.

No one wanted to work under the blazing sun. Ye Nai herself also disliked going out in such weather, no matter how much water she drank, she only sweat without urinating.

Thankfully, Ye Nai was a considerate client, unbothered by the two employees’ slowing work pace and extended rest tis, continuously supplying a variety of fruits with no interruption.

Zhou Jing remained silent throughout; she had only brought two people to work this ti. Although she guessed that the corpses Ye Nai had could be converted into points, potentially propelling her to copper-level hunter, she didn’t regret bringing fewer people.

A major discovery like this demanded confidentiality, and fewer people ant better discretion. Otherwise, with more people, even with confidentiality agreents, leaks could happen, and more people would complicate the investigation.

The sun gradually set, yet the soldiers were still not cleared. Ye Nai persistently threw out corpses, left a hundred, right a hundred, endlessly.

Both employees were on the brink of despair.

After a day of work, they were surprised not to have suffered heatstroke but were already determined to request a transfer upon return, refusing to stay in this position any longer.

At this point, Zhou Jing could no longer sit calmly. Unwilling to continue this task tomorrow, she approached Ye Nai for discussion.

"Ms. Ye Nai, may I ask how many enemy corpses you have left?"

"Quite a lot still, the soldiers aren’t finished, plus the remaining captains of all levels and a few scattered wizards."

"Let’s figure out a more efficient thod and try to finish everything today, can we?"

"Alright, what’s your suggestion?"

Zhou Jing tilted her head towards her.

Feeling uncomfortable under Zhou Jing’s gaze, Ye Nai offered an idea herself.

"How about I release all the remaining soldiers at once, you register the data after counting, and I’ll collect them again?"

"Will they fit?" Zhou Jing glanced at the site’s area, frowning with concern.

"We’ll squeeze them," Ye Nai responded, "If they can’t be spread out, we’ll stack them."

"Alright, apart from the soldiers, are the remaining captains nurous?" Zhou Jing pursued further.

"Not many, less than a thousand," Ye Nai shook her head.

Only then did Zhou Jing breathe a sigh of relief, "Then I’m reassured."

"Fine, after finishing this batch, let the two rest well and complete everything in one go," Ye Nai said.

"Alright, sounds good." Zhou Jing nodded with no objections.

A mont later, the previous batch of corpses was completed.

Ye Nai collected them, then released a massive amount of soldier corpses from the space, occupying vast areas before extending further.

Fortunately, the sectioned-off area of the site was wide enough to avoid getting overturned by the corpses.

However, even with this, the batch was still not entirely released.
