Chapter 893: Cecile and Selena
“A favor?” Selena raised her brows.
“Yes,” Lyon nodded. “It was a crazy coincidence but I need your help.”
“For what, darling?” asked Selena as she slightly tilted her head.
“There is this woman, well ntor of mine. She fought a powerful orc before ending up with one of her forearms missing.”
“Your ntor?” Selena raised her brows. “Who could train you?”
“This piqued my interest as well,” Rui the Moon Hare pitched in. “You are a formidable cultivator, there is hardly anyone in this world that could train you any more than we could.”
“Well, it was a situational happenstance,” Lyon laughed a fool’s laugh.
“And what the situation might be?” asked Selena.
“I think it was after you gave the ring and let possess— well, at least half of my past mana tank. However, despite having a great start, I have no idea how to use mana at all at the ti.”
“What?” Rui uttered. “What do you an by that? You an you ca from a world that has no mana?”
“More like no cultivators,” Lyon shrugged. “Or maybe there are, but they must be scarce if that were to be the case.”
“That’s… bizarre,” said Rui. “I have seen a place where there was no mana or anti-mana, however, I have never seen a place where there were no cultivators at all, what happened when they grow old?”
“They uh, they would be dead,” said Lyon nervously as he answered an obvious one.
“I see, interesting, so they just give up on living?” Rui rubbed her chin. “Then what would be like when they are old?”
“The usual wrinkles, so aged wisely so died before they could be wise, so remained a child all throughout the years,” Lyon shrugged. “It’s nothing different than this world in a sense.”
“So, they lived a short life?” asked Selena.
“Well, in our perception, yes,” said Lyon. “After all, ti is relative.”
“Then what was the cause of not cultivating? Was it really the lack of mana, or was it sothing else?” asked Rui.
“Truth be told, I have no idea,” Lyon shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. “Perhaps they lost both the thod and the mana altogether.”
“That sounds like a nightmare to live in,” said Rui as she sighed. “Thankfully, here you are.”
“Well living there is not a that bad mother, though, yes it will be short.”
“Oh? So there is sothing else other than cultivation that they do? Don’t tell it’s the regular day job.”
“Well there is also that but also technology, however, if we are going to talk about it, it would exert the whole day and my throat.”
“Hahahaha!” Rui laughed.
Lyon smiled before Luna was inches away from him. The latter embraced him before Lumina hovered right beside him.
Lyon smiled and nodded at Lumina whilst stroking Luna’s purple hair with his fingers. “Sorry to make you both worried.”
“I don’t think that even if you fall from the waterfall you would die,” said Lumina before she turned her glance away and muttered. “Though, it’s good that you’re okay.”
Lyon smiled before seeing Luna’s face.
“I thought that sothing bad will happen to you,” said Luna.
“Sothing bad always happened to , I’m just worse,” Lyon smirked before his nose was pinched by her.
“Stop making up words,” Luna chuckled.
“Ouch, you’re gonna ripped out my nose,” said Lyon before he noticed another Selena approaching beside Luna’s giggles.
“Hello, sister-in-law!” Lyon jested as he raised his voice. Zelena’s face flustered the instant he heard her voice.
anwhile, his two wives were having a conversation of their own as they looked at Zelena.
“Who would have thought that you would actually have a twin sister,” jested Cecile. “Fate is truly a funny thing, right Selena?”
“I won’t call it funny,” Selena answered coldly. “We are already bending away from the course of fate, this is nothing to be surprised of.”
“Yeah, but nobody would expect you to have a twin, who looked like you, talk like you, walked like you, I an co on, all she has to do is master the way of the void, and then you and she would be like a mirror,” said Cecile with a chuckle.
“Stop joking Cecile, the way of the void is too dangerous and hard,” said Selena shaking her head. “I almost lost myself when I entered the void state, though luckily, darling was there.”
“How about that, you’re lucky that he was there,” Cecile jerked up her shoulders before finding Selena frowning at her.
“I don’t like your tone, War Maiden,” Selena crossed her arms.
“We were never ant to be friends, Void Empress,” Cecile smirked.
Lyon’s goosebumps suddenly rose. His shoulders frosted up before he gulped. A formidable aura was evolving right behind him. ( W-What? What’s going on? ) thought Lyon before he turned around and had his pupils shrunken.
Both of them had a rising aura that clashed against one another relentlessly all the while their chins raised. One had a sword that was still sheathed and the other was barehanded. The latter crossed her arms as her auburn hair signified her pride galore. The forr’s eyes were sharp and remained stoic despite the opposite smirking at her.
The Void Empress and the War Maiden. Two were once of the most prominent figures that the Three Realms had ever seen. One was cool one was fiery. Emptiness and fullness. The polar opposite that was destined to clash against one another.
Lyon gulped seeing the two of them revealing their characters just by standing alone. The deanor the two of them brought was truly reign-like. His lips quivered as he watched the two of them. ( Damn, to think that I’m their husband is really, amazing! ) thought Lyon before he shook his head, “I don’t think pressing this matter into unnecessary height is a good thing.”
The two of them gradually lessened their presence altogether whilst their aura kept clashing. None of them raised their arms yet the mana surrounding both of them was chaotic.
Lyon let out a sigh of relief the mont his goosebumps cald down. He had never seen such a powerful presence, but he was expecting them to have a severely outmatched aura inside.
“Are you two always like this?” asked Lyon nervously.
“I tried to be friends with her, but it’s really hard when she lacks emotion,” said Cecile.
“You seem to be etching for to cut your tongue, War Maiden,” said Selena with a sharp glint in her eyes.
“That would be bad,” said Cecile with a smirk. “After all, our dear husband would like it if I still keep my tongue.”
“Yes, Selena, that would be bad,” said Lyon as he nodded firmly. “I would like to kiss you and fill sothing both emotionally and physically.”
Selena snorted before she averted her glance toward Lyon. Her glance imdiately softened before she nodded, “Alright, darling.”
“Hey, emperor,” asked Kesya.
“Huh?” Lyon raised his brows. “What is it?”
“What are you going to do now?” asked Kesya with a grin.
“Well, you seem to be excited about a new adventure,” Lyon laughed. “However, I can’t decide just yet. A lot of things happened in a short span amount of ti.”
“Darling, why don’t we rest inside my tower?” asked Selena.
Cecile raised one of his brows, “What house?”
“Oh, right,” Selena’s eyes opened wide as she just realized that Rui’s Moon Hare art had finally devastated the entire kingdom and then so more just from the shockwave after the blow. Selena shrugged her shoulders down.
“Then we should reserve an inn back at Myriad Devils,” said Zelena, pitching an idea.
“We would attract a lot of eyes,” said Lyon.
“However, it’s our only choice, unless you want to spend the night with predators lurking around your snooze,” said Cecile before she sighed and looked at Lyon. “All decision is in your hand though, what do you think we should do?”
“What about that Seraphim Cultivator?” asked Lyon. “Is he already dead?”
“No,” Kesya shook her head. “Empress Selena tried to finish him off but it would be wasteful, so Empress Cecile had sothing else in her mind.”
“Hmph!” Selena snorted.
“It’s for our cause,” answered Cecile. “We can use this Seraphim Cultivator to our advantage.”
“You’re taking him hostage?” asked Lyon as he raised his brows. “Nice.”
Cecile shook her head, “Not hostage, but a pion ready to be used, or better yet a broadcaster. ”
Lyon blinked a few tis before smiling. “It’s been a long day, maybe we should haste over at Myriad Devils first and take a rest there… or… wait a minute.”
“Hm?” Cecile raised her brows.
“Darling?” Selena muttered.
Lyon turned and frowned. There in the precipice of his sight, he saw a tower. “Is that…”
“That’s right,” Cecile nodded before sharpening her eyes, “That’s the place where First Hell can be visited, however, they won’t let you opened that door easily.”
