Rivan caught the key with one hand, his other was still holding Aselia’s shoulder. But Aselia cald down as soon as she saw Rivan, and she let him guide her to the room they had just exited from.

Rivan opened the door and carefully led her inside and closed the door behind them. Aselia’s whole fra was shaking with anger, she went over to the lounger and sagged on it. Her heartbeat was crazy as she tried to reel all the emotions in.

Grabbing the bottle of red wine, she poured herself another glass and lowering the mask she gulped it down, hoping it might calm her nerves. Taking off her mask she threw it on the table.

"Are you alright?" Rivan questioned wearily, staying close to the door as he observed her movents.

"I am trying to be," she breathed out putting the glass down. "Sorry, I didn’t an to cause all that drama," she replied apologetically.

"Considering it was Cybile, I am sure it wasn’t you who caused the drama," Rivan spoke in a calm tone seeing how agitated she was he didn’t want to make her more.

Aselia took her face in her hands and took deep breaths, sothing about that woman had driven her over the edge and she had never felt such rage for any woman in Xiran’s life before.

The door opened and Xiran stepped inside, his eyes directly falling on Aselia who was sitting with her face in her hands. He strode over and yanked her to his chest making sure no harm has co to her.

"I am sorry, you alright?" He whispered while kissing her head.

"I am fine," she whimpered in his chest, her breathing was erratic.

Xiran turned his head toward Rivan and growled: "What the hell Rivan? Why was she here?"

"I swear I didn’t invite her, Marqauis was on the guest list, I think she beca his plus one. I just discovered she was here and rushed over but the damage was done," Rivan explained in an apologetic tone.

"I had always feared that one day I would have to deal with her but I didn’t want it to be today. Anyways I have erased all her current and previous mories involving and also her partners. Called the guards and police, and they will deal with them."

Xiran answered rubbing Aselia’s back, trying to calm her down.

"Yes, that was indeed due, sorry your mood was soiled because of ," Rivan disclosed.

"No Rivan, it’s not your fault. That’s not your past, you shouldn’t be the one apologizing. Soone else needs to give an explanation for this," Aselia spoke while keeping her orbs fixed on Xiran, her anger wasn’t calming down any ti soon.

"Right, you guys can talk here. I have to wrap everything up downstairs, and after that, we will head over to our private party. Call when you guys are done."

Rivan tossed the key back to Xiran which he effortlessly caught in his right hand and exited the door, closing it behind him.

"Co sit with ," Xiran made Aselia settle back down, while she kept glaring at him. Her heart was perturbed, sohow she could feel that vile woman had done sothing terrible to the man she loves.

"I know who she is, I want you to tell what she did to you?" Aselia asked as soon as they sat down, he was still holding her by her waist.

"Aselia what happened is in the past, let’s forget this. I wanted this day to be filled with fun but it’s the second ti you had to witness sothing you shouldn’t have."

"Xiran, you will tell everything that happened between the two of you. I know she is the woman who took your virginity but there is more to your relationship with her than you are willing to tell ."

Xiran was almost shocked that she had pieced all this together from a few sentences Cybile had uttered and he could feel how frustrated she was.

"You are right, she was indeed the woman I beca intimate with for the first ti," his words hit her like poison-laced arrows, bruising her flesh, coursing through her blood, and rendering her paralyzed from the effect. The pit of her stomach received a jolt of agonizing pain and her hands instantly went to her belly.

Xiran saw the effects of his words reflected on her beautiful face which convulsed in the misery she had experienced from his re words and instantly regretted speaking them.

All that had happened a long ti ago, why only hearing about it was hurting her so much, she didn’t understand. Xiran placed his hand on hers and squeezed:

"Aselia this will hurt you and I don’t want to hurt you, don’t make dwell on the past, please."

"I would prefer the pain than be left in the dark, you have no clue the anger that birthed inside when I saw her, and deep down I knew she had done sothing evil to you, speak of it," Xiran tried to pull her closer but she refused to budge. She needed to feel this pain.

"She is one of the ancient vampires alive and all those vampires have special powers. She has the ability of mind control and can make people bend to her will and use them as her puppets or toys. Not always but sotis she had used her powers on ."

A small whimper escaped Aselia, she knew Xiran was being moderate to spare her the pain of thinking he was rap*d.

"How old were you?" Aselia asked, her turbulent eyes roaming his for truth, she was shocked and the pain in her stomach was growing. He watched her closely but kept his mouth shut. This would hurt her beyond anything, the truth always hurts.

"How old, damnit, answer ," she shouted at him with tears swirling in her eyes. Aselia wanted to take him in her arms and protect him, just like he always did.
