The morning light rose and the rooster crow. While the town was still drifting with a faint morning mist, a few people slipped into the Ivy Hotel. They sneaked into the stables and saw that the hotel attendant was asleep in a pile of grass. "Are you sure it's these horses?" Whispered the bearded man in the lead.

"There's nothing wrong. I saw the white-haired boy co here to feed the horses yesterday evening." The short man in the hat sounded certain.

"Alright then, give these beasts so hard stuff so that they can teach those outsiders a lesson." The bearded man said in a deep voice.

A few n laughed maliciously. Suddenly, soone coughed dryly behind them. They turned around like they were electrocuted. A silver-haired man in a black cloak leaned against a beam in the corridor and said, "It's really ugly for you guys to do this. If you want to get revenge, it should be a man's doing to openly duel with others. I really can't stand watching innocent horses behind their backs."

"Get lost!" The bearded man took out a dagger and said, "It's none of your business, boy."

"Whoever says it's none of my business, the person you're dealing with, you could have helped yesterday. Although I personally think he's just ddling, I owe him a favor no matter what."

The man in the hat seed to recall sothing and whispered a few words beside his moustache. "Oh?" The moustached man said, "Are you the one who injured Boss Tully and the others?"

"Tully? That bear-like fellow with thick chest hair?" The silver-haired man smiled faintly and said, "I didn't make a move."

"It's because of you."

"I admit that, but he should be glad that the gentleman did it. If it was , well, I have always had a bad temper and would probably die."

"Oh, that sounds scary." The moustached man sneered and said, "Scram quickly. Otherwise, you won't be able to leave today."

"Don't say that. I still have sothing to do today." The silver-haired man walked down the corridor and strolled towards the n.

"Kill him!" The moustached man shouted loudly, and his eyes suddenly blurred. The silver-haired man, who was still ten steps away, sohow arrived in front of him. Then, the sky spun and the earth spun, and he lost consciousness.

A few muffled sounds, accompanied by a short scream, woke the hotel attendant on the pile of grass. The young man caught his hair, which was not much better than a bird's nest, and looked at the stable. The horse was still there, and there was no one nearby, so he rolled over and went back to sleep. However, he did not notice that there were a few drops of bright red blood not far from the sink.

After breakfast, the caravan left the town and passed through a forest along the main road. The ruins of the old Great Wall stood in front of them. Alan used his hand to block the dawn and looked up. The long wall was lofty, and the thick wall extended towards the east and west. The walls were mottled, and the light grey had now turned dark grey, and the moss on the walls of the cracks had dyed the Great Wall dark green. The old flas of war were unwilling to fall behind, leaving deep black patches on the wall, as if they could still sll the burning stench of the blazing flas as they approached.

That's the sll of war.

Not far from the city wall, a catapult with only shelves was one of the few sights on the Great Wall. Back then, they had thrown huge stones to kill the enemy, but now they had climbed onto green vines. There were even white and yellow wildflowers growing out of the cracks in the wooden shelves. From afar, they looked more like a statue made of plants.

As the team passed by the Old City Gate, Alan sat on his horse and gently stroked the wall. His fingers streaked across the uneven wall. Every single trace here seed to record the cruelty of the war back then. When he passed through the city gate and returned to the world of light from the darkness of the arch, Alan saw him. The black-clothed traveler who happened to et at the Golden Orange Tavern yesterday was leading a gray horse to the side of the road.

"What a coincidence." Alan waved his hand.

The silver-haired man turned around and smiled, "Good morning." Then he got on his horse and rode beside Ellen. "You left early. If I hadn't gotten up early, I would have missed it."

Alan narrowed his eyes. "Are you waiting for ?"

"Yes, Lord Alan." The black-clothed traveler's eyes were filled with a warm smile.

"Who are you? I don't rember telling you my na."

When Regis and Fares heard their conversation, they drove their horses closer, one horse behind Alan. If the black-clothed traveller made any movents, they could imdiately attack. The black-clothed traveler seed to have a few more people behind him. The smile on his face was like a spring breeze as he looked into the distance. A few light gray clouds floated in the morning sky, and the faint golden sunlight descended upon the earth, illuminating the land that had left the Great Wall. The terrain here was gentle. Occasionally, only a few low hills could be seen. The vegetation was sparse and the field of vision was wide. It was pleasant to look at.

The black-clothed traveler stretched and pointed to the north. "Continue forward. You will see the new Great Wall in two days. After passing through the new Great Wall, you will see Oliska. I heard that it is a good place in the imperial capital of our great empire. Unfortunately, I have never been there once."

"Then why don't you co with us?" Alan probed. He was no longer vigilant at this mont, and that was too inexcusable. If this person wasn't pretending to be mysterious, then he would definitely be a hidden expert. Furthermore, he was also a group of outstanding experts. Yesterday at the Golden Orange Tavern, with Alan's talent for looking directly at Origin Energy, he couldn't see the glow of Origin Energy on this man's body at all. Previously, he had thought that he was just a warm-hearted ordinary person, but now, it seed that he was an expert who had used so secret technique to restrain his Origin Energy aura from leaking out.

The black-clothed traveler shook his head, "Although the imperial capital is good, that place is full of dirt and dirt. How can it be as comfortable as here?" Lord Alan, look at how vast the world is. Where can't you go? Why do you have to dig into the imperial capital? Could it be that intrigue is so fun? I don't think you are like those who are keen on power, otherwise you wouldn't have ddled in other people's affairs yesterday. "So look, how about you go back to the Southern Territory?"

Alan laughed, "That won't do. After all, I promised the Second Prince that I would go to the imperial capital. Now that Oliska is in sight, how can I give up halfway?"

"What a pity." The black-clothed traveler said with an annoyed expression, "Before I saw you, I had imagined what kind of person you would be, but you are not the type I hate." I promised soone that I wouldn't let you pass the old Great Wall. Because I don't hate you, I accompanied you for this period of ti. "Now it seems that you are indeed an untouchable person. Then it will be troubleso, but it is not impossible to solve it. How about you listen to my suggestion?"

"Listen respectfully."

'"The solution is very simple. Send a letter to the Second Prince. Tell him that he was seriously injured in an ambush by an expert on the way. He has to return to the south to recover. Doesn't that an he has an explanation to Julian, and there's no need for to make a move?"

Seeing that Alan's expression was getting weirder and weirder, the black-clothed traveler mocked himself, "Well, even I sound like an idiot, so I still have to take action?" He raised his hand, causing the ground to tremble. A rumbling noise swept past the caravan, spanning a hundred ters. The crowd was shocked to the point that they were in a bit of a ss, and the caravan had no choice but to stop. When the dust and smoke had fallen, there was an additional gully that was a hundred ters long and half a ter wide on the ground. The black-clothed traveler picked up a gray horse, and the horse quickly jumped over the wounds on the ground and landed on the other side. The gray horse turned around and the silver-haired man landed lightly on his horse. He calmly looked at Alan and said, "If you cross the line, you're dead."

Alan raised his hand to stop Regis and the others from dismounting. He instructed Fares to get off the horse alone and remove Red King from the side of the horse to tie it behind his back. Alan walked to the front of the group, only about ten ters away from the black-clothed traveller.

The silver-haired man nodded and said, "Your judgnt is correct. It will only increase the casualties of your subordinates. Don't worry, as long as they don't cross this line, I won't hurt them."

"May I ask who your Excellency is?"

"Na is just a mark. If we miss today, we won't be able to see each other again. There's no need for us to do anything else."

"Then, who told you to stop ?"

"This point is even more uncomntable."

Alan nodded. "Well, I have quite a few enemies anyway. It's fine to have one more."

"You'd better be careful. I don't know how important I am. Once I make a move, I won't show rcy." The black-clothed traveler smiled.

Alan narrowed his eyes. Apart from his head, the other part of his body was wrapped in a cloak. He didn't even know if he had any weapons under the cloak or what kind of weapons they were. Alan took a deep breath and moved. He stepped on Kathleen's footwork and dodged the line. After crossing the line, a gust of wind blew up, blowing up the black-clothed traveler's cloak. Under the cloak, a dark yellow halo exploded and lit up like dusk.

A warning sign flashed through Allen's mind, and he retreated to the other side of the line before stopping. At this mont, a string of light sounds rang out, and the battle armor split open, revealing the reverse scale armor inside. A faint white mark appeared on the scales, causing Alan to feel a little shocked. The reverse scale was not damaged in the slightest by Ice Wind's sharp claws, but now, it was marked with a shallow mark. Clearly, the opponent's strength was far above Ice Wind's. As his gaze fell, a thin sword was being put into the cloak. The width of the sword was only one finger, and the blade of the sword was dim yellow. Although it was only for the sake of not taking a glance, it gave Allen the impression that it was not real.

"Looks like you have a good armor. Originally, you wanted to see blood with a single sword, but you can't even do that. But it doesn't matter much, Lord Alan, you should be feeling sothing now, right?" The black-clothed traveler said with a smile.

"What do you feel?" Alan's words were just spoken when he suddenly felt that the black-clothed traveler was split into two, and the two figures overlapped. He shook his head and looked again. Looking at the other things, he also felt that there was a double shadow. He suddenly realized that the problem was with the thin sword.

"That's right, my illusion vision should have interfered with your vision. Then what else interesting will happen next?"
