After Tatsumaki eliminated Sky King—
A colossal spaceship, eclipsing the sky, appeared, growing larger by the second. Within monts, the entire sky above A-City was obscured by its imnse shadow.
It was a colossal vessel, fifteen kiloters long and four kiloters wide—a behemoth dwarfing even the largest human constructions.
"Is... is this the disaster from the prophecy?"
"A spaceship? Are the enemies aliens?"
"How are we supposed to attack sothing that big?"
The S-Class heroes stared at the spaceship in stunned silence. They hadn't anticipated an alien invasion.
Just then, the underside of the spaceship glowed—
Countless projectiles rained down upon A-City.
"This is bad! How can we defend against an attack of this scale?!" Bang's eyes widened in alarm. The attack covered the entire city. There was no way to intercept it all.
A-City was about to be reduced to rubble.
The S-Class heroes' expressions turned grim.
"Hmph!"
Just then, Tatsumaki flew into the sky.
She glared at the incoming projectiles and raised her hand.
The projectiles stopped mid-air, then reversed direction.
"....." Bang stared in disbelief. She had effortlessly stopped a city-wide bombardnt.
The other S-Class heroes were equally stunned.
They had underestimated Tatsumaki's power.
"I'll help!" Fubuki flew up to assist her sister.
Although Tatsumaki insisted she could handle it alone, she didn't refuse Fubuki's help.
"Here's your gift back!" Tatsumaki sneered, then launched half of the projectiles back at the spaceship.
Fubuki did the sa.
Rumble!!!
Explosions rocked the spaceship as it was bombarded by its own weapons.
"They're too strong! I think they can handle this on their own. We're not needed here," Flashy Flash said, and Puri-Puri Prisoner, and Tanktop Master seed to agree, about to leave.
The other S-Class heroes remained silent, continuing to observe.
Just then, Saitama crouched, preparing to jump.
Roy quickly stopped him. "Saitama, wait. Let them handle this for now. You can go if they need help."
Saitama paused, then nodded. "Alright."
He wasn't particularly interested in fighting the spaceship. He had found a worthy opponent in Roy and was looking forward to their next spar.
"Heh, Saitama, if you show off your strength, they might promote you to S-Class," Roy chuckled.
"Oh? Really?" Saitama looked intrigued, but not particularly enthusiastic about being an S-Class hero.
——
As they were talking, the spaceship finally made its move.
Two figures descended from the ship, crashing into the ground and creating large craters.
One was a humanoid monster with multiple heads, lzalgald.
The other resembled a giant toad—Groribas.
"Monsters from the spaceship!" Bang said, his expression serious, looking towards the dust clouds rising from the craters.
"Just two? The strongest one hasn't appeared yet," Genos observed, frowning.
"Doesn't matter. We'll deal with these two first." Atomic Samurai, a blade of grass hanging from his mouth, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword—was ready to draw.
The tension in the air was palpable.
——
"Heh heh heh~~ So these are the pathetic humans of this planet?"
"Once we kill them all, our mission will be complete!"
As the dust settled, lzargard and Groribas erged, smirking at the assembled heroes.
"Let handle this." Atomic Samurai, unable to tolerate their arrogance, flashed towards lzargard.
"Atomic Slash!"
He unleashed his signature move.
lzargard was sliced into pieces.
"Impressive!"
"As expected of Atomic Samurai!"
"That was fast!"
——
The S-Class heroes cheered, seeing lzargard seemingly defeated so easily.
"I thought it was so powerful monster. Turns out it was just so low-level weakling," Atomic Samurai scoffed, spitting out the blade of grass.
Just then—Bang's eyes widened.
"Look out!"
Before anyone could react, lzargard, having regenerated instantly, punched Atomic Samurai.
Atomic Samurai, startled by Bang's warning, barely managed to block the attack.
The force of the blow sent him flying.
The heroes were stunned.
Bang, reacting quickly, caught Atomic Samurai mid-air.
"Cough... I was careless. I didn't expect it to regenerate," Atomic Samurai coughed up blood, glaring at lzargard.
"I suggest we attack together. It's the safest approach," Bang said, his voice serious.
His suggestion was sensible. This wasn't a tournant. There was no need for individual heroics, especially since the strongest monster hadn't even appeared yet.
They needed to conserve their strength for the final battle.
However, the S-Class heroes, each with their own pride—refused to cooperate. They all believed they were the strongest and could handle the situation alone.
"I'll take care of them!" A voice announced, and everyone turned towards the Hero Association headquarters entrance.
tal Bat, his forehead bleeding from Tatsumaki's earlier attack—erged from the building.
tal Bat had a unique ability: the more he fought, the stronger he beca. It was a kind of fighting spirit.
As long as he wasn't killed instantly, he would continue to grow stronger.
In the original story, during the Elder Centipede fight, Garou had attacked tal Bat, but if not for his sister's interference, Garou would have been defeated.
This demonstrated tal Bat's hidden strength.
While easily defeated by Tatsumaki, he was still among the top ten strongest S-Class heroes.
"Hey! Be careful! Atomic Samurai was injured by that monster!" Puri-Puri Prisoner called out a warning.
tal Bat, however, ignored him and charged towards lzargard, his bat raised high.
"Haaaa!" He swung with all his might.
Wham!!
To everyone's astonishnt, lzargard effortlessly blocked the attack with one hand.
He then grabbed tal Bat's bat and punched him in the stomach.
Thud!!
tal Bat was sent flying, crashing through several walls and landing in a pile of rubble.
Silence fell over the assembled heroes. They had all underestimated the Aliens.
These Aliens were not only powerful but also possessed incredible abilities. They were a formidable threat.
