Sitch's words were a call for commitnt. Those who stayed couldn't back out.

While those who withdrew would retain their S-Class title, their ranking might be affected—or rather, those who didn't participate would definitely be demoted.

After this disaster, the rankings would undoubtedly shift.

Of course, for those already at the bottom, it wouldn't make much difference.

The heroes remained silent. No one wanted to be the first to back out, appearing cowardly and losing face in front of their peers.

"Hey! My little sister has an important piano recital! If this isn't sothing serious, I'm going to wreck this place!" tal Bat, his feet propped up on the table, grumbled.

It sounded like he was looking for an excuse to bail!

"Hmph! Walking around with a busted bat, You think you're hot stuff? A nobody like you can leave. No one cares," Tatsumaki sneered, her sharp tongue lashing out.

"..."

tal Bat's face flushed red, and he stood up, pointing his bat at Tatsumaki. "You little brat! Want to split that curly head of yours open?"

Wham!

Before he could finish speaking, an invisible force slamd him into the wall, shaking the entire room.

The heroes were stunned. A completely unexpected attack. Could they have dodged it?

The answer was likely no!

The invisible attack was impossible to see, offering no chance to evade.

tal Bat, embedded in the wall, was already unconscious, looking utterly pathetic.

This display further confird Tatsumaki's reputation as the second strongest S-Class hero.

Roy didn't intervene. If tal Bat wanted to get himself killed, that was his business.

Sitch also remained silent.

Tatsumaki was the Hero Association's trump card, the protector of A-City. They treated her like royalty. They wouldn't risk offending her for the sake of a hothead like tal Bat.

No one paid any attention to tal Bat's condition.

The eting continued.

"The Great Seer, Mada Shibabawa, has passed away," Sitch announced, his expression grave.

The heroes were surprised. Shibabawa was a respected figure, especially among the older S-Class heroes.

Sensing that Roy might not know who Shibabawa was, Fubuki explained.

"Roy, you probably don't know who Shibabawa is. Let tell you…"

Shibabawa was an old woman—a highly respected figure within the Hero Association, known to most of the older S-Class heroes.

However, newer mbers might not be familiar with her.

She was a seer, her prophecies always accurate.

It was she who had foreseen the arrival of Boros, the Dominator of the Universe, a disaster unlike any Earth had faced before.

If not for Saitama, the planet would have been destroyed.

Roy, of course, knew about Shibabawa, but he listened to Fubuki's explanation.

Sitch then revealed Shibabawa's final prophecy—a catastrophic event within six months.

The heroes fell silent.

They didn't know if the prophecy was accurate, or what form the disaster would take.

The S-Class heroes weren't exactly a united front.

In the original story, only a few of them had faced Boros directly.

The others had either been occupied elsewhere or had simply… run away.

Seeing the somber atmosphere, Roy chuckled. "So, Shibabawa predicted a major disaster within six months?"

"Yes," Sitch confird, relieved that Roy had finally spoken.

"Which ans it could happen today." Roy smiled. He had already sensed Boros's ship approaching Earth.

"Ah... Looks like it's already here." Saitama, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up.

——

Saitama's words drew everyone's attention.

The heroes focused their senses, but they didn't detect anything.

"There's nothing there! You're lying!"

"Yeah, baldy, who are you? I don't recognize you. Are you even an S-Class hero?"

"Get out of here, you nobody."

Those who didn't know Saitama began to berate him. Even those who recognized him hadn't witnessed his true strength, so they remained silent.

"Wait! This isn't the ti for infighting!" Sitch tried to calm them down—

When the entire building shook violently.

The Hero Association headquarters was incredibly durable, designed to withstand even the strongest earthquakes.

Yet, it was trembling now. It was under attack.

Sitch's face paled. Had the disaster already begun?

Just then, he received a ssage through his earpiece: monsters were attacking headquarters.

"Heroes! Now is the ti to unite and face this threat together!" Sitch declared, his expression serious.

The S-Class heroes, so indifferent, so unconcerned, and so worried—filed out of the conference room.

They wanted to see what this "grave threat" was.

Roy followed them.

——

Outside—

Several bird-like creatures with wings were circling the headquarters, unleashing energy blasts that exploded against the building.

"These are the monsters?" The S-Class heroes looked at the Sky King and his two subordinates with disdain.

While not weak, they weren't a serious threat.

"It seems the prophecy was just a joke." Atomic Samurai, S-Class Rank 4, a blade of grass hanging from his lips, scoffed.

"Don't underestimate them. If they don't co down, we can't hit them," Bang cautioned. Airborne enemies were troubleso.

"Hmph!" Tatsumaki, seeing that no one else was making a move, huffed and reached out with her hand.

Powerful telekinetic energy enveloped Sky King and his two subordinates.

"Who… who's doing this?" Sky King struggled, but he couldn't break free.

Tatsumaki clenched her fist.

Crack!

Sky King and his subordinates exploded into a shower of gore.

The S-Class heroes winced. Tatsumaki's thods were brutal.

"Roy, was that monster one of Boros's subordinates?" Fubuki asked curiously.

Roy chuckled. "No, that was Sky King, similar to the Deep Sea King and The Ancient King you defeated. He's not weak, but nowhere near as strong as Boros's top subordinates."

In the original story, lzargard, one of Boros's top three subordinates, had effortlessly defeated Sky King upon arrival. There was a significant gap in their power levels.

Sky King, at best, was a high-Demon level threat. Most S-Class heroes could defeat him.

However, Boros's three top subordinates were Dragon-level threats.

lzargard had regeneration and could split into multiple bodies. Any injury was instantly healed.

Groribas could spit acid and had incredible jumping power. Although quickly defeated by Saitama, he was still a formidable opponent.

And finally, Geryuganshoop, the strongest of the three, was the self-proclaid greatest psychic in the universe. potentially exceeding even the Dragon-level threat.
