Juriuah was already having trouble fighting three subordinates of envy at once, imagine fighting four at once. The situation looked extrely dire for the first army commander of the Three Star Scripture.
Observing from the distance as if wanting to etch everything he saw in his mories, Simon couldn't help but widen his eyes everyti those peak forces collided.
Their battle was earth shaking, common sense destroying to say the least. However, the way they used their powers, their control and their unique abilities, every move they made was an eye opener for him.
Simon felt like the skills and magic he had been using up until now were barely scratching the surface, the tip of the iceberg to say. True power was far from so simple advanced magic or lost ancient tier skill. It was more profound and deep than he could have imagined.
Watching the fight of the strongest beings in this world, Simon couldn't help but feel his horizons widening.
"That said, what is this power?" He furrowed his brows looking at the unknown power the subordinates of Envy used.
[Edict]...
Just then he heard a voice out of nowhere. It was such a clear and familiar voice that he felt like he heard it before.
The voice was… instantly, realisation dawned on him. The second fragnt of pride, the voice he heard was from the fragnt.
"You… have recovered?" Simon questioned in his head.
Ever since having to forcefully awaken the power of the fragnt in his deficient state in the sixth trial, the Second Fragnt seed to have gone into a sleep state where it was unknown when it would awaken.
The power contained within the Second Fragnt that could even temper with the laws and save his life from that Sea of Destiny was not sothing of his power level should co across.
It was no wonder, the second fragnt had gone into a sleep like state after that.
[The mystical energy is much more dense here than in the outside world or in your dungeon. Thanks to that, I was able to restore so of my energy] The second fragnt replied.
"I see" Simon nodded. His mind then went back to the word the fragnt uttered a couple of seconds ago...
"What do you an by Edict? Do you know sothing about the power they are using?"
The fragnt was silent for a while before uttering [It is the power of the Fragnts of Envy]…

[Fragnts of greater constellations like us possess the power to temper with the laws of the world itself. You can call it [Authority]. Each of the authorities is so powerful that it can manipulate even cause and effect. The power you used back then to sail through the Sea of Destiny was mine, the second [Authority], [[Stellar Eclipse]]
Simon was silent as if recollecting the mory from that ti. The power he used back then, the words that his other self told, all of it flashed in his mind like an episode that happened just yesterday.
The power to sever the cause and effect montarily… the [Authorty- Stellar Eclipse] was unfathomable. To think back then he was able to use such an incredible power. That said, the fact that the second fragnt brought this matter up ant that…
[That's right, just like us— Fragnts of Pride, the Fragnts of Envy also possess their own laws tempering power. It is called the Edict. The power those people are using is the [Edict] of the greater constellation of Envy]
The second fragnt explained.
So that was the case, no wonder their power suddenly skyrocketed to a whole new level. It was because they were using the [Edicts] from the Fragnts of Envy.
"Hmm? How can they use the [Edicts] when they are not the Demon Lord of Envy?"
As soone who possessed the Fragnts of Pride, it made sense that he could use it. The sa went for the other Demon Lords. However, how could these people use it when they don't even possess the fragnts?
[The powers of the fragnts of the greater constellation are transferrable. As long as the possessor of the fragnts is willing, they can bestow a portion of the fragnts power to their subordinates]..
[As long as that subordinate has an affinity with that fragnt, he or she can use the power without needing to possess the fragnts. Of course, unlike the possessor of the fragnts, they can only use a portion of the fragnt's power]...
[In a way, it would be more accurate to say that they are only borrowing the power of the fragnts. As this is a power you must attain in the future, you must know about it]…
Simon sighed, this was a lot of information to process. Powers that could temper with the laws of the universe, [Auhtorites], [Edicts]… to ntion they can be even transferrable. It was really a lot to take in one go.
While he was in the midst of his own revelation, the battle continued.

"Enough!!"
Vincent shouted raising his hands towards the sky. At that mont, his entire body released a brilliant silver light that was so luminescent that it was blinding. The brilliant silver light raced through the sky creating an ancient, extrely complex formation in the sky.
The next second, the sky cracked and through it ca a huge glowing orb of light that was tens; no, hundreds of tis brighter than Vincent.
The glowing orb shone with silvery brilliance appearing as if a star itself had descended. A silver crest inscribed with unreadable, primaeval symbols ford inside the star, exuding an authority that seed to reach into the very essence of the world.
"[True Silver- Ancient Symbol Manifestation]" Vincent slowly muttered.
BOOOM!!!
The next second, the two Demon Archdukes facing him were instantly blown back, their forms disappearing into the debris of the crumbling mountains.
Having pushed his enemies back, Vincent zipped through the sky and appeared beside Juirah, the huge ancient symbol silently rotating behind him.
The battlefield reached an eerie deadlock.
On one side were Garvex and the two other subordinates of the demon lord, wielding the [Edicts] of envy. And on the other side, was Vincent manifesting his Ancient Symbol and Juriah using her Cherubim descent.
Both sides have started displaying the true might of their abilities, causing the sky, earth and even space to beco fragnted.
