On a beautiful, ordinary day, everyone on planet Gloom watched the horizon fill with spatial runes that quickly vanished. Shortly after, Anizu returned calmly to the building where the whale was waiting for her. Her Dao was deactivated, and the ti she had left to live in peace had run out.
On her shoulder was a smiling little girl. Anizu shot a serious look at ru, seeing her for the first ti and recalling the figure of Isla, who once lived in the queen’s castle.
However, noticing the whale’s gaze, she understood it was best to let that thought go. No one would ever ntion anything about Isla to ru—only this way would the fresh start be truly complete.
"She’s here," the whale said as a woman descended calmly from the skies onto planet Gloom. Behind her, a squad of over a thousand people followed.
It was Nixis, the missionary who had tirelessly traveled through countless galaxies and planets during this ti. She was sent with those under her command to complete her mission. The group consisted of a thousand individuals—80% of them won—all cultivating Nixis’s Dao and belonging to various races.
A divine halo shone around Nixis. She had completed her Dao, becoming the second, after Rehvka, to achieve this feat, officially becoming a Goddess. The others were still trying, but maybe only one or two would succeed before reaching the peak of cultivation. The rest would likely take the non-Divinity path.
Nixis reached this milestone shortly after ru was born. That’s when the whale suggested she teach her complete Dao to her allies and embark on the mission.
"Sir." Nixis arrived and bowed before the whale, followed by all her soldiers.
"The auntie is so formal," ru remarked with a light smile. Nixis looked up and smiled back at the little girl. Then, she presented ru with a floating spatial ring, which ru eagerly grabbed.
ru, the daughter of Denil and bearer of the Divinestone Clan’s bloodline, shared distant family ties with Nixis, who was also born into that clan. Although distantly related, ru treated Nixis as a real aunt. Kaiyka, as a relative of Ruri, would’ve received the sa treatnt if present.
"I managed to find so high-quality elven fabric. It’s likely the sa grade or better than your mother’s," Nixis said, making ru’s eyes light up.
Seeing the contents of the ring, ru exclaid excitedly, "Daddy, daddy, you’ll make sothing cool like Mommy’s, right?"
"Hmm… I didn’t make it last ti. I just ca up with the style, and the dwarves handled the rest," the whale replied gently. "But making it now would be a waste. You’ll grow too fast and outgrow it."
After he spoke, the whale swallowed hard at ru’s disappointed expression. Alm quickly stepped in: "I’ll make it for your 15th birthday. It’s hard to find fabric like this, so by then, you won’t grow as much. Deal?"
ru nodded quickly and handed the ring to them. Nixis and Anizu watched the scene with light smiles. At that mont, Mistie and Purimu arrived, approaching the whale.
"Uncle, the latest report says half of the temple is complete. However, resources are becoming harder to find. Lansha, Mihkriel, and the Heavenly Spirit God are really slowing things down. According to Lansha, it’ll take at least another two years," Purimu inford.
Alm and Bruno nodded. The plan was working; the tiline perfectly aligned with the depletion of the Chaos Tree’s energy.
When Lansha and Mihkriel returned to planet Gloom with their allies, they brought news. The Heavenly Spirit God hadn’t died in that final battle, but Alm and Bruno had already suspected as much and didn’t mind.
The nature of his Dao suggested such a possibility. He wasn’t foolish and had likely left part of himself in his sect. After his death, he had to rebuild a body from scratch and restart his cultivation.
This ti, however, Lansha and Mihkriel completely dominated his sect and cornered him. With a blade to his neck, he was forced to decide quickly about his future. He was a threat alive since the heroes could capture and read his mories of the events, or he could attack the whale.
He reflected on the whale’s words during that final battle: his biggest flaw was fear and a lack of trust in his own race. In the end, he chose to surrender and et with the whale, accepting his failures.
He was brought to planet Gloom, where his ntal dominion was entirely removed. Only then did he truly understand what lay before him, swearing loyalty.
He was ordered to create a normal body and pretend to be a mortal while Lansha officially took leadership of the Heavenly Spirit God Sect. Secretly, he used his Dao to delay mining operations and locate resources for the temple’s construction. In this way, he was contributing significantly.
"Let’s go. The plans haven’t changed. Now, my little one wants to explore a bit," said the whale, as ru excitedly prepared to leave the planet for the first ti.
Nixis and Anizu joined them. Together, they visited all the planets Nixis and her soldiers had converted. As always, they were seemingly insignificant places, but with her Dao, Nixis could evaluate if the people t the prerequisites: absolute loyalty and a willingness to fight against evil.
ru traveled for almost a month alongside her father, marveling at the unique places they visited. At the end of the trip:
[Congratulations! 1 Planet claid!]
[Number of planets under your control: 200]
[Rewards for this achievent:]
[ 10 Upgrade Points]
[ 5 Celestial Points]
[Total:]
[Upgrade Points: 1400]
[Celestial Points: 1060]
140 new planets were added to the inventory, all providing the sa rewards. Now, the internal universe had tripled in population and planets.
Before, this could’ve been a problem due to the Chaos Tree’s energy. However, after Alm and Bruno fully studied that knowledge, they managed to make the consumption far more efficient. With all these people and planets added, the initial tifra of twelve years was restored—just as they had expected. But now, only about two years remained.
’We’re stacked with points again, but it’s unlikely we’ll find a farm this good for points anyti soon. That was the last batch of planets in this universe. Nixis did her best to visit as many as possible; those that didn’t get the chance... their fate didn’t allow it,’ Bruno murmured.
And so, they returned to planet Gloom. Upon arriving, ru ran off to tell her mother everything she had seen. The two were so alike in every way that they naturally got along extrely well. Only when ru threw tantrums did Ruri have to be more firm with her.
Alm and Bruno were certain that when ru grew up, those two would be like twins fighting side by side on the battlefield. Maybe "twins" wasn’t the best term, though, since ru carried the blood of Denil and the Behemoth.
For now, while she was still a child, the uncanny physical resemblance to her mother was striking. But soon, as she entered her growth phase, she would start to change. She was expected to grow much taller and sturdier than Ruri, although she’d likely never be muscular, thanks to her mother’s bloodline.
Shortly after their arrival, a ssage from Ruri echoed through the array: ’Coltia said she found where the calamity will erge. Right now, it’s in the void of the universe, but in two months, it’ll appear.’
Alm and Bruno nodded. Then, they withdrew to isolate themselves in preparation.
’It’s ti,’ Alm murmured, exhaling deeply, and both of them focused on the Chaos Tree.
Without hesitation, they opened the Gates of Life and Death of physical cultivation, beginning to steal energy from the heavenly laws.
Afterward, they had the Tree absorb all that energy, but this ti, they knew exactly how to channel it and where to nurture it. It didn’t take long before the laws interrupted the theft. After an hour…
Everyone within the internal universe felt a violent tremor and turned their gaze toward the Chaos Tree, alard. Suddenly, an absurdly dense immortal aura washed over all of them.
Alm and Bruno opened their eyes, satisfied smiles forming on their faces. ’Now we’ll have true dominion,’ Bruno said, laughing heartily.
Suddenly, at the center of the Chaos Tree’s trunk, a massive change occurred. Five pulsating runes, each a different color, erged. Each rune contained a natural elent and emanated a unique soul aura, originating from an immortal.
