The whale surged forward at high speed, eyes closed. When he opened them again, his Celestial soul pulsed intensely through his gaze, like two divine beacons. All the laws of that sealed world vibrated, while the Divine Inquisitors, still far away, widened their eyes as they sensed this change.
The entire body of the Leviathan was transford into primordial power by him, and Alm and Bruno absorbed it all. Within their bodies, without hesitation, they also burned their bloodline and all available resources. With this, they could maintain the Celestial state for ten minutes, using it at full strength.
With a thought, they crossed space and arrived at the location of the cauldron half. The waters parted, revealing the structure at the bottom. They swiftly broke in, descending to the deepest secret hall underground.
The place was empty; all the heroes had gone to that internal world. They needed to unite their heroic strength to try to communicate with the queen, so no one stayed behind.
Lyra imdiately stepped out and focused on the center of the hall, where a circular mass of pulsing black runes stood out. These runes emanated an intense Yin extracted from the sea of bones, created using the power of the primordial demon beast.
The Yin was the foundation that kept that item of Primordial Chaos sealed. The heroes were using a law similar to Yang to try to break into it. The seal allowed any external laws to enter, but nothing inside could leave.
Thus, due to its similarity to the cauldron’s power, they tried to connect and control part of it. However, the law was not exactly the sa as it was in its weakened form. A hero could connect a single rune every few months or even years.
A single rune represented less than 0.001% of what was needed to dominate the whole. But with millions of years of effort, they had already reached 95% of the required control. The power of the heroes was the power of the queen; upon reaching the minimum required threshold, she could use that half of the cauldron without Heaven’s Will being able to reverse the situation.
Lyra stepped toward the mass of runes, her body radiating an aura of primordial flas with a soft reddish hue. The Phoenix’s Yang flas were unlike any conventional fla; even a woman could use them with ease if she had the bloodline as support.
Her eyes pulsed with a white glow characteristic of the Ziz’s law. The Phoenix and Lyra focused in sync; both had to succeed together. The Phoenix could have done it all alone, but it would take a bit longer—ti they didn’t currently have to spare.
One minute... two... three...
Alm and Bruno watched anxiously. Every lost minute was an unprecedented waste of power. Almost by the fourth minute, the two laws finally connected, and the flas around Lyra turned white, like pure Yang fire.
She stepped forward and extended her hand. Now, the power of that law had beco perfect and complete. According to the Ziz, it was the sa power as the cauldron’s half. With that, she managed to connect and dominate all the cauldron’s runes at once, without difficulty.
A second later, the white flas dancing around her ceased, blowing out like a candle.
Lyra retracted her outstretched hand and turned to the whale, their eyes eting as a radiant glow appeared in hers. "It’s done, brother-in-law."
The whale let out a heavy sigh and, without hesitation, made a motion with his hand. The entire mass of Yin runes holding the cauldron in place cracked. Two seconds later, it turned to dust.
The formation was destroyed without resistance; anything external could invade. So doing that was so simple that even Ruri could have done it alone. When what lay within was revealed, there was no light or unusual energy.
In the center rested half a cauldron, an unusual sight that seed straight out of a dubious legend.
Only the right side existed, rising about a ter high. Its surface was white, immaculate, and opaque like untouched snow, without adornnts, grooves, or inscriptions. It seed like a primitive work, carved by hands that knew no refinent, yet it exuded a silent authority in its simplicity.
To an unobservant onlooker, it would just be a curious object. However, anyone daring to look closer would notice it wasn’t made of tal or any tangible substance. It was the essence of Celestial energy in its purest, most condensed form, so dense it physically manifested. The sensation it emanated was suffocating, as if the very air revered its presence.
This was the half of the Cauldron of Order. Alone, its power was untamable and impossible to control. However, Alm and Bruno felt that if united with the other half, it would form a complete balance. The full potential of this union would surpass any imagination.
It was the first ti Alm and Bruno had seen a primordial chaos item in its true form up close. Before, they had witnessed the Beastly Spear in its calamity state—like watching a beast in humanoid form, unable to reveal its full potential. Now, as they gazed at just half of that cauldron, they could feel its deep connection to Heaven’s Will… then, a strange sensation took hold of them.
It was as if they had encountered sothing similar in the past. Not exactly that cauldron, but sothing equally intertwined with the heavenly laws and Heaven’s Will—another artifact of primordial chaos.
Yet, they had no mories of it. For a mont, they wondered if they had encountered such an item without realizing it… but they quickly dismissed the thought. The feeling ca from a deeper level, almost instinctive as if it echoed from their very souls. It felt less like a mory and more like a remnant of another life.
They sighed and turned their attention back to the present. If they didn’t have answers now, they would find them sooner or later. Then, seeing Lyra’s triumphant smile, the whale opened the inventory.
Lyra made a motion with her hand, and the ancient relic floated in the air, obeying her silent command. It approached her as if recognizing its new guardian.
She held it for a mont, an ethereal glow passing through her eyes, and carefully stored it in her spatial ring—a striking ring made of mithril, a symbol of her commitnt to Almin. Now, the ring held an artifact of inestimable value, with the potential to change the fate of the universe.
Lyra stepped into the inventory, and the whale moved, leaving the underground. Running wouldn’t help; once their power ran out, they’d be dood. Besides, that place was the heart of the sealed world; they couldn’t collapse it without being present.
The Divine Inquisitors would arrive in a minute. After that, they’d have just over five minutes to find a solution, or the only way out would be to detonate the sealed world and use the power of the other worlds in that galaxy.
Without the presence of the Divine Inquisitors, they would have enough ti to destroy the key points and escape imdiately to the underworld with the Eraser. But with them there, they would be forced to manipulate the power of the place in a risky way; otherwise, they’d be attacked in the middle, obviously.
This would consu all available energy, and then the whale’s low cultivation body would collapse.
Alm and Bruno took a deep breath, focusing. At that mont, their souls rged as one.
The physical cultivation was activated to its maximum, preparing for what was to co. What options did they have left? Maybe killing the Divine Inquisitors and hoping they had sothing on them that could turn the tide. But since when had they been that lucky? That wouldn’t happen.
It was then that two primordial souls, inside the inventory, watching everything from the outside, felt sothing they had only sensed millions of years ago.
"Wait, this...," murmured the Ziz, surprised.
The Leviathan confird, "That’s the technique of that bold FiendGod!"
"He called it supre physical cultivation... or sothing like that. The missionary received it and cultivated it," the Ziz said quickly, and both focused on sensing the whale’s body... soon their eyes widened.
"He has the gates of life and death! Is he one step away from reaching the threshold?" asked the Leviathan seriously, and the Ziz confird.
Alm and Bruno, who were desperately trying to think of any solution, heard those words in the silence of the inventory.
"You know this? Why are you so worked up?" they asked quickly.
The Ziz replied seriously, "Yes, we know the creator. In fact, both of us helped create the Threshold of life and death, the last step you haven’t taken yet."
At that mont, Alm and Bruno felt a path forming in front of them. For sothing like this to appear out of nowhere, it could only be an opportunity. Or maybe not, but they had no choice but to believe.
It was at that very mont that the whale felt his body tremble...
Suddenly, an intense golden light erged from the void and enveloped him completely.
They had been monitoring the Divine Inquisitors, who were less than thirty seconds away. It wasn’t them, so what was this...?
They raised their gaze to the sky. In the dark firmant of that sealed world, a golden shadow slowly began to take shape... a striking female silhouette with a pair of wings beca visible.
Her face and body were undefined, all the energy of that sealed world was bending in her direction, and she was rapidly taking form. The sealed world was petrified; a sacred and immaculate deity was about to awaken.
They felt a mortal chill, in a few seconds... she would open her eyes, and her identity would be revealed.
"This... it’s a fragnt of her celestial soul...," murmured Alm and Bruno, understanding exactly what was before them.
It wasn’t a simple will, nor a re heroic power or anything irrelevant. That was the queen... more precisely, a legitimate part of her soul. Not only had she sent the three invaders, but she had also made sure to send a fragnt of herself with them.
At that mont, everything inside the whale began to slip out of his control. Before that woman, much more experienced in using celestial soul, he felt like a defenseless ant.
