"A Divine Inquisitor..." The people trembled upon seeing him, understanding the weight of his presence. A character of such caliber truly deserved that reverence.

This was the supre realm, the lifelong pursuit for cultivators.

Even though many True Saints could rival True Emperors, a Divine Inquisitor was an opponent that a True Emperor would never dream of challenging and surviving even a single move. The gap between them was enormous.

Now, God Tuzwu no longer emanated a terrifying aura. However, his transcendental presence still astonished the crowd, making him seem like the center of the world, even if he was just there casually.

That was the effect of becoming a Divine Inquisitor. There was no need to display divinity or make grand statents; they commanded respect and even worship just by existing.

"This is the number one cultivator now," the old folks around spoke respectfully.

"Is... is he unbeatable now?" soone murmured, their voice trembling.

"That’s still up for debate," said a woman, clenching her fists; it was Minnan.

So ti ago, everyone would have agreed that this figure was invincible. But now Kakarotto lood above all, a demon in their minds, leaving them breathless.

All the cultivators present turned into admirers of his skills, young and old alike. Thus, they remained skeptical about who the strongest truly was.

"We’re saved!" the people of the Tundrawalker Sect exclaid excitedly, seeing their savior.

Kakarotto lazily glanced at that figure and comnted, "I get it, that was a forced breakthrough; how ridiculous, you didn’t do that on your own, and your fused cores created a single unstable core. You have no control over the power. Basically, you’re just a slightly bigger ant."

"There are as many masters as there are trees in the forest; you’re so full of yourself," replied God Tuzwu, keeping his posture and showing no anger.

"That only applies to you, not ," Kakarotto shot back, gesturing at him. "Co on, that hit before wasn’t bad. How many lives did you refine into that? One, ten, or a hundred million? Anyway, show what you’ve got."

"So be it." He huffed in response. "Don’t try to slander ; it’s useless. As long as I’m around, I won’t let you massacre the innocent. I will defend justice because that’s my responsibility."

Kakarotto laughed. "Yeah, yeah. You’re a warrior of justice, the defender of order and good morals, while I’m a heinous villain. Yet, evil always seems to defeat justice when I’m around, so get ready to die."

The two stared at each other, and the crowd held its breath, while Maelik and Ruri focused with their eyes closed.

God Tuzwu waved, pulling out a spear. At its tip, a red glow pulsed radiantly.

’Well, well, that’s so quality demonic tal,’ Alm mocked.

Bruno huffed: ’Cultivators are the sa everywhere. That bastard advanced using so strange sacrifice technique. But that feeling coming from the other old man from this sect... is that a joint technique?’

’Let’s make him show his true strength. It’s ti to stop playing gas and go all out,’ Alm added coldly.

The horizon, the planet, and a vast region covering almost the entire empire shook. Quickly, everything was engulfed in a storm of scarlet lightning. The energy vibrated and converged at the tip of God Tuzwu’s spear.

"Ruri, Maelik," Kakarotto said softly, and the two opened their eyes.

Ruri returned to her true form. To go all out, she had to use her tamorphosis first. She couldn’t feel space any other way; if she felt even a bit human, it affected her perception.

The Immortal Lotus appeared and grew to five ters, starting to spin. Ti and space twisted around the violet. Everything blended, creating an area under her control with almost a hundred ters in diater.

Maelik took a deep breath and flapped his demonic wings. His main weapon was his knowledge; he could easily master and use any law or cultivation thod from that micro-universe. But he lacked raw power... or maybe not; after all, he was currently an Ancestral Devil. Where death and Yin existed, he was their ruler.

That was a bonus he hadn’t delved into much since he knew he would lose in the future. But after living so many lives in the sa race, he could use it as well as any demon from that place.

Maelik waved, and his lineage ignited. The entire battlefield, where countless lives had been lost, trembled. A black mist gathered in seconds, and hundreds of deathly Yin runes condensed.

Alm and Bruno huffed. At that mont, Wuji was activated.

"DIE! Splitting the heavens, devastating the earth!" roared God Tuzwu, and his spear shot forward.

The heavens collapsed, and countless scarlet lightning bolts fell toward the trio. However, when the spear ca within a hundred ters inside the violet domain, ti and space seed to slow down.

At that sa mont, Alm and Bruno waved. With that simple gesture, all the scarlet lightning exploded, turning into electric runes.

The crowd, and even God Tuzwu, widened their eyes in total disbelief. It was at that mont that Maelik flapped his wings, and feathers made of the purest, most destructive Yin shot out.

*Rumble!*

The spear, and even the demonic tal, turned to ashes. God Tuzwu wasn’t surprised; he knew well the power of the Ancestral Devils. Looking at the thick Yin around him, he figured that soone powerful from that race could use that energy to block his attack. But for that, he’d have to go all out, and it would only be once.

A sarcastic smile appeared on his face; now it was just ti to attack... His thoughts were interrupted as he felt death approaching.

*Bang!*

Everything happened in slow motion for the crowd. They watched blood gush out like a waterfall, and the skies seed to tear apart. Then, a paste of blood and bones fell from the sky.

In a flash, Kakarotto appeared in front of God Tuzwu and hit him in the chest with a knee strike. Tuzwu plumted from the sky and shattered when he hit the ground. Everyone saw the hole in his chest before he fell.

*BOOM!*

He hit the ground, creating a hole that quickly turned into a crater. His blood sprayed everywhere, resulting in a stunning scene. The crowd was suffocating; so struggled to breathe, finding themselves out of air.

"That was the real deal: Splitting the heavens, devastating the earth. A good na for it," Kakarotto mocked, loud enough for everyone to hear.

The Divine Inquisitor, considered unbeatable by many, was taken down with a single knee strike?

Alm and Bruno turned to Ruri and Maelik, nodding in satisfaction. It was great teamwork.

Ruri slowed the attack and made them advance toward the enemy without him being able to react, while Maelik used his brute strength to block the devastating strike.

That idiot was powerful, but still, he was just one guy. His skills were limited to what he studied and what he could perceive. anwhile, the three of them together had absolute mastery in specific areas and knew how to use everything in perfect sync.

"How foolish to think you’re already invincible just because you forced an advance," Kakarotto said, yawning and glancing at the crater with indifference.

In everyone’s mind, Kakarotto was the scariest existence possible. But those two allies by his side could already be considered legendary figures on their own. And they were still fighting together?

"Is it over?" soone asked, clenching their fists.

All eyes were on the Tundrawalker Sect. It was clear they had fallen into a pit of despair. Their most powerful moves hadn’t been able to stop King Kakarotto; now, he could wipe them out with a single move. After trying to kill him, it would make sense if he did.

So, everyone believed the tide couldn’t be turned, no matter the thods used. Kakarotto and his allies had reached a level that even a newly arrived Divine Inquisitor couldn’t handle.

Maybe if God Tuzwu had backed off and stabilized his core, the situation could have been different in the future, but now everything was lost.

*Buzz!*

Suddenly, the red light from the sect lit up again, illuminating the battlefield.

"Fusion!"

A voice filled with hatred echoed from the crater. He was alive! All the spectators’ eyes went wide in shock.

The cultivators of the Tundrawalker Sect exchanged glances before gritting their teeth. "Use the fusion! Release everything for our ancestor," ordered the old man, the sect leader.

At those words, all the cultivators’ eyes widened, and the onlookers were shocked too. Ancestor?

"Yes, it was a secret, but it was God Tuzwu who founded our sect. And our core technique was granted by him so we could grow and thrive. Now, obey!"

Everyone nodded in agreent and activated the scarlet rune in their cores. That was the sect’s core technique, and all the cultivators were creating one of those laws.

On the other side of the spatial canal, everyone in the sect shone with crimson rays, almost like the reflection of several rubies. Until...

*Pop!*

Suddenly, they exploded into misty blood, catching the crowd off guard.

"What the hell?!" The spectators were horrified.

Sounds of millions of bodies exploding resonated as the sect’s cultivators disappeared one by one. Those who hadn’t exploded yet wore twisted faces of confusion and despair.

*Whoosh!*

The bloody mists began to glow. Tiny, exquisite runes erged and started to move toward God Tuzwu, slowly rging into his body.

"NO! HELP!"

Screams of despair echoed throughout the sect. Then, all the cultivators were wrapped in a similar glow, almost like a thin, grim shroud of death.

"Ahh!" Everyone was losing their lives and falling apart.

The cruel scene unfolded in the blink of an eye. Billions and billions of disciples lost their lives in just seconds.

The final scream of the most powerful echoed after witnessing the death of their entire sect. Unfortunately, all they could do was watch. The unbearable agony shattered their minds.

"Hahahaha!!!" The sinister laughter of God Tuzwu resounded as a golden and red aura mixed with him.

At that mont, everyone felt a sense of dread as he had completely stabilized his core. Before, he could barely control the power of a Divine Inquisitor. Now, his power was multiplying rapidly by the hundreds.

Alm and Bruno analyzed everything calmly. The truth was that God Tuzwu had created this fusion technique with a long-term plan. It was as if he was the main body, and all those who created this law were just his nutrients, feeding the law so he could reap the benefits.

’He advanced using the sa thod, but in a more subtle way. He probably sealed his body and soul. Over generations, as the people of the sect died, he absorbed their runes. They lost 99% of their power, but over ti, he gathered enough power to break through.’

Sealing body and soul was a unique and almost exclusive thod of the Primordial Elental Spirit race. Since their true body was just an elental rune, they could enter a state of hibernation and practically live forever.

It usually doesn’t make sense to do this; after all, what’s the point of living while sleeping? It’s better to die and be reborn at once. But with this creepy technique, he managed to advance and gain more ti to live.

’It was like advancing with pills,’ Alm added. ’But he knew he’d never be able to stabilize his core and beco a true Divine Inquisitor. So, he created the sect and probably did everything to make them prosper and grow huge. All of this just to set sothing up and make them accept him; then devour them all and finally stabilize himself. Admirable... but I’d rather be more straightforward.’

Bruno sighed, refocusing on the centerpiece of this ga. All of this was probably planned together.

"Who are the real chess players now?" King Vulke smiled while watching from a distance.

Alm and Bruno snorted, aware that there was still a lot of missing information, but they already knew enough. The rest could be figured out easily later. If they had acted secretly, without participating in this ga from the start, maybe at the worst mont, all of this would’ve blown up.

But now, they could go all out, without fear. They just needed to take down the true villain of this ga.
