Suddenly, space warped and Ruri appeared next to the whale. With her, she brought Kaiyka and Loeus, who was awake. Loeus had been forcefully awakened by Ruri before her arrival, still injured and with a foggy mind, but he struggled to sit up and look around. He didn’t fully understand what was happening, but he had a sense of what was coming and just followed along.
It was Ruri who uttered those words, her eyes pulsating with fury as she looked up. Beside her, Kaiyka had a cold expression but held a short, silver sword, ready to fight to the end without hesitation.
The whale glanced at Kaiyka and internally nodded. In monts of extre crisis, people’s true nature revealed itself; it could simply avoid that seemingly insurmountable problem. However, it cared for nothing else and was prepared to die for what it deed right.
Ruri nodded, and space distorted again, bringing Corin and Vuard.
"If you want to lay a hand on him, you’ll have to kill us all, you filthy bastard!" Corin roared, shooting a furious glare.
The leader of the Moonlight family narrowed his eyes coldly. "Young fools, the one who dictates the law is the strongest hand. If I don’t want you dead, do you think you can do anything? Get out!"
A seemingly infinite divine power engulfed the entire environnt. The cultivation at the peak of the Divine Origin Realm was employed, completely suppressing the cultivation of everyone in the arena. He used his Qi to the maximum to press those in the center of the arena, but only remnants made it so that no one in the stands could even breathe.

He rely used it to nullify anything being used. But in his mind, there was only excitent at the prospect of this ’treasure’ of theirs. Soon, all the secrets of this whale would be his.
But suddenly, the whale reached out and gently placed its hand on Ruri’s head. She closed her eyes, and the Yin and Yang tattoos on the whale pulsed like two stars; suddenly, that leader felt all his power being sucked into two black holes.
Everyone in the stands widened their eyes...
One second, two seconds...
All the violet power of the high-level technique... evaporated as if it were re smoke sucked into the void.
Ruri opened her eyes, and the world lost its color. An infinite violet ntal power surged within her eyes. Ruri smirked sarcastically and spoke.
"So random trash trying to use the mind against ? Experience true ntal power."
Ruri then spoke and opened her arms. The entire arena was covered by ntal power as if a violet sun had ignited at the center of everything. The focus of it all was that leader.
The whale easily drained all the Qi from the technique and transferred all his ntal power to Ruri. While she rely used back the Moonlight Eclipse Technique, with her ntal cultivation being used with the leader’s own ntal power, the strength of it was tens of tis more intense.
The power of the mind was equivalent to the divine soul power of Alm and Bruno; cultivation didn’t have a direct influence, only when the cultivator ascended realms did they gain a bit more of it naturally. Just as one couldn’t compete when Alm and Bruno used their soul, if Ruri unleashed her ntal cultivation, if the cultivator wasn’t overwhelmingly stronger, they wouldn’t easily withstand it.

"You..." He tried to roar but stopped and circulated his Qi to the maximum in his body before vomiting again.
After a few seconds, he turned to everyone below with eyes ready to explode in red. In that mont, Kaiyka, who had only observed the events in extre shock like the people outside; tightened her grip on her sword and took a deep breath, preparing for the worst.
"So it’s going to be the hard way! I’ll know everything in your souls!" He spoke thunderously, his power circulating for a destructive attack with no possibility of resistance from them.
"Stop."
A dry voice sounded, then a tall woman, with long tied-back red hair and a wild appearance, appeared. A warm aura flowed around her, and in the next instant, an elf and a dwarf also appeared; they were the leaders of the other families.
"You! This is a matter of my family!" The leader of the Moonlight family roared.
"If you can’t suppress them, just accept your defeat. You won’t kill our mbers," the elf spoke calmly.
The dwarf exploded furiously. "Forget whose problem this is. Everyone saw the culprit of everything, you were the first to break the rules. Then you allowed your vice-leader to act as he pleased and broke the rules again; a fight to the death is until death, nothing in the competition can be taken outside. Now you want us to watch you kill ours? If you want to go ahead, I want to see you take down the three of us."
The human leader retorted dryly. "This mortal is hiding things! If the four of us act..."
"Enough." The woman Yangta spoke emotionlessly.
From their exchanged glances, the human understood everything. If the four of them joined forces, indeed, they could do whatever they wanted with them. But... they would have to share everything they found. This would also result in losing their precious and terrifying new mbers; why would they do that, when they could have the whale’s favor and keep their mbers? Thus, they wouldn’t share anything, and in the future, they could dig deeper and get the secrets for themselves.
That’s how the cutthroat competition in this queen’s universe worked. Nobody wanted to share anything and give power to others. It was better for nobody to have anything and maintain a chance to win alone in the future than to give sothing away.

The elf spoke calmly. "Let’s be fair; the four families initially have equal rules. The battle was to the death, and him killing that young man is within the rules; but killing the vice-leader isn’t. But the fault of everything was yours, and you didn’t stop him, both were guilty."
Everyone fell silent; soon after, the elf sighed and gave a verdict on his own. "Denil will receive the two saint-level immortal weapons for the battle. Then, he will receive a fair punishnt for his actions. We have many missions coming from the divine world that none of the families want to fulfill, but he can do them."
"Sounds fair to ." The woman Yangta spoke with hardly any weight behind it.
The dwarf thought for a mont and rembered a particular mission, then looked at the elf, and they exchanged glances. "I understand, I think it’s fair too."
With the dwarf’s response, all three of them looked at the human with a twisted face. He didn’t respond positively or negatively; everyone knew what was going through his mind. Soon after, the woman Yangta dryly roared.
"Let make it clear, idiot. We are all agreeing here among all the leaders; if you try anything beyond what we’ve decided, the three of us will join forces to take your head. Don’t think you’re above everyone else; I won’t swallow your crap."
Loeus behind looked at the leader of his family, a little shocked. She was very... very similar to Langrum in the way she did things. He couldn’t say whether she was good or not before, but now, seeing it from this other angle, maybe she just reacts according to her purest instincts. She was soone who, if moved, would be the most loyal ally.
"No response, then silence gives consent." The elf pronounced and turned to the elder responsible for the competition. "Hand over the other weapon to him."
The elder jumped and looked at his leader, but he remained silent. Then he nodded and hurried to hand over a spatial ring to the whale. Alm and Bruno had already stored away the other spear they had won; now they had a second saint-level weapon.
"The competition is over." Announced the elf to everyone in the arena. "All the victors have been decided, the rewards will be delivered very soon."
Then, Yangta turned to the whale and his group. "Return to your planets, we’ll sort things out here. In a few days, we’ll send a ssenger with your punishnt."
The whale nodded and opened the spatial channel back ho. They waited a few minutes, and everyone in the stands looked at that group in total shock and disbelief; were they just going to leave like that?
anwhile, the four groups led by Loeus, Vuard, Ruri, and Corin looked at the whale in total adoration; they fully accepted all the words they received about him from their leaders. In their eyes, this round figure was like a deity walking among mortals.
Loeus’s children jumped into the arena, joining them; one of the boys brought a Yangta girl with him, holding her hand. At that mont, Ruri looked at the whale seriously; he sighed and looked at the woman next to her, then nodded. When the channel stabilized, Ruri grabbed Kaiyka’s hand, who jumped in surprise. Then she was dragged along, and they all entered the portal back to the city.
The last to enter was the whale. Then everyone in the stands saw him take two steps forward and pass through the channel. Only then did they rember... he finally moved... and it was just to leave.
