In a towering mountain that stood out within the entire third level of the abyss, a great commotion was taking place. In a few hours, the skies beca covered by thousands of half-wyverns flying silently in a single direction. Not a single one of those creatures looked back, and if anyone from the outside observed the thousands of caves in the mountain, they would realize that everything was completely empty; that place had been entirely abandoned.

In the skies, the giant group emanated powerful cultivation and boasted dense bodies. However, they all flapped their wings slowly and flew calmly, as if they didn’t want to scare or disturb anyone nearby. At the forefront of them all, leading the group, flew a very young half-wyvern at full speed.

In almost an hour, they all arrived at the Soul Eater clan, which would be their new ho. Despite the increase in the number of inhabitants, the place was large enough to accommodate them and still offer space; after all, they could maintain their human forms.

Soon, the little half-wyvern transford into a little girl. Her eyes were tense, as if she were exerting abnormal and strenuous effort. Upon realizing that all the demons in that clan were busy with so construction, moving black stones to the center of the clan, she took quick steps toward the central building at the back of the clan.

Upon entering, Runula saw no one guarding the building and rushed to the main hall. As she approached, trying to make as little noise as possible, she saw her master and mother, Calirer, and around her was the entire group she had recently brought to the clan. Her eyes passed over everyone’s backs, but as soon as they reached the small creature on the shoulders of another little girl, her heart quickly pounded.

She took a deep breath, trying not to disturb or attract attention, but as she entered the hall, everyone turned in her direction. Then, she almost took a step back. That young human who always had murderous and bloodthirsty eyes, and Runula had spent the day and night fearing being sliced, was... looking at her tenderly... just like almost everyone else there, except for the giant round being.

Calirer smiled, speaking. "We were waiting for you. I just told them how we t and thanked them for helping you."

Ruri then took light steps, and Runula jumped in surprise at the approach. Ruri then grabbed her hand, smiling, and gently pulled her, calling her to her side. The two then sat side by side, with Ruri smiling and Runula with her head lowered, not understanding anything.

"Help? She almost died, and I almost killed her later. How could you have sent her to fetch us with her being so weak? The entire body of a wyvern, even a hybrid, is a treasure for evil cultivators," the whale said dryly.

A strange smile appeared on Calirer’s face, and she spoke, sighing. "I gave her my lifesaving treasure. A teleportation symbol. With that, she could save herself from anything and return to the clan, but she..."

At that mont, Runula raised her face in surprise, and her eyes beca serious. A second later, her face turned red, and she murmured, "Sorry... I wanted to fulfill the mission, and when I used my bloodline... my mind got very clouded. I am..."

"You’re not useless or a failure," Ruri interrupted her, holding her hands affectionately. "You’re just over a year old. When I was your age, I just cried, ate, and slept. I don’t even have mories since humans don’t get lasting mories at such an age. Our races are different, I know, but trust yourself. If you lack sothing, trust the people who love you, and they will help. Just accept your flaws and strive without giving up. Over ti, you will overco anything."

Calirer smiled and sighed. She tried many tis to boost Runula’s self-esteem, but the trauma her parents created was deep. But now, Runula had friends, and Calirer wasn’t alone.

Pif.

The sarcastic snort from Ruri’s shoulder sounded, and imdiately Runula’s eyes trembled, and she lowered her head even more.

"You little rude idiot!" Ruri roared. "She is your fiancée. You have to take care of her with everything you have; try to imitate our master. He’s very, very incredible and always supports and gives everything he can."

Everyone in the room looked strangely at the whale, but he remained indifferent and expressionless as always. However, internally, things were quite different.

"By the way, Calirer, she’s now engaged to my pet. They’ll have to stay with , right?" Ruri said lightly, looking at Calirer.

Calirer just sighed and looked at the whale, seeking help. The whale then spoke softly. "She is half-demon; outwardly, it will cause a negative commotion, drawing a lot of attention. Not to ntion that her two bloodlines aren’t anything special. For a beast, that ans she won’t go far in cultivation and will quickly beco a burden."

Ruri then took light steps toward her master and looked into his eyes. "But, she’s engaged to my pet. I can seal her demonic part. As for the rest, there must be so way to solve it... think about it; if she becos powerful, their children will be powerful. And I’ll have a deadly army." She spoke excitedly, and her eyes shone tenderly.

’Indeed. If they lay many eggs, with luck, this mutation can be passed on to a child. That could be a powerful weapon.’ Bruno comnted ntally. ’We still have so unused things that can enhance her talent.’

’You want to burn valuable resources for a maybe or luck? That...’ Alm began to speak, then stopped and looked ahead, feeling his hand being held and Ruri’s piercing gaze. ’Screw it. We hadn’t planned anything for these things; if we got it once, we can do it again.’

Bruno stifled a laugh at Alm’s insincerity, then gently stroked Ruri’s hair. He then turned to the nearby Runula, and his eyes beca serious.

"I didn’t take this engagent too seriously. It was just an excuse to have more soldiers, making my life easier. But now that things have settled down. Do you really accept this?"

Runula heard that, and her face turned red; only a positive nod ca out.

Calirer smiled slightly and spoke. "Having powerful offspring is a valuable goal for demons, especially when one possesses such a strong bloodline. Although humans often put complexity into emotional demands, life can sotis be simpler than we imagine. I’m sure Ruri will teach Deryu well, and together, these two will build a deep bond. The complexity of love doesn’t follow a predetermined path; often, it simply happens."

The whale just waved indifferently, but Alm and Bruno felt a bit strange internally. They sensed that those words weren’t just ant for Runula and Deryu, but they forced their minds not to dwell on it too much. So, they called Runula closer and waved, taking sothing out of their inventory.

She took a few steps closer and imdiately stopped petrified. Sothing appeared in the hands of the whale, and the entire room felt a shock in their minds. Runula and Langrum were the most affected, and Calirer couldn’t believe what she was seeing. The whale then opened his hands, revealing a completely perfect and terrifying black core.

"Almin, get so pills to strengthen her ridians to the max." They spoke, looking into Runula’s eyes. "This is the core of a pure wyvern; absorb it by rging it with yours. It won’t increase your bloodline, but it will greatly enhance what’s already in you. It’s a unique treasure that will multiply your talent. Don’t disappoint ." (Chapter 127)

***

A few hours passed; Almin and Calirer helped Runula absorb the pills and strengthen her body to the fullest in preparation. Soon, in her true form, she absorbed that core. When they were sure she was not at risk of life, she isolated herself to assimilate it.

After they returned to the grand hall, Calirer found no words to say to Goku; only astonishnt pervaded her mind. She thought he had so luck, going to the last level of the prison and escaping those wyverns. Now, everything indicated sothing impossible. He possessed the cursed demon blood that existed there and even purified it; he kept the core of a wyvern slave that existed there and still took their egg. What else was he hiding? She thought, bewildered.

"When will this so-called Ashen Realm be open? And what about the others? How much ti do we have?" The whale spoke quickly, not wanting to waste ti.

Calirer snapped out of her thoughts and answered quickly. "When the laws of the abyss soften, after twelve months, the deepest place where the Ashen Realm is located becos available for exploration. Before that, the laws are still deadly for anyone."

The whale nodded, and she continued. "There are four other sacred realms. And every three months, one of them becos available. The first, in about two months, is the realm of flas."

"Do we need sothing to enter them?" The whale asked casually.

"The first ones are considered low-level, and the major clans find it a waste of demonic diagram resources to go. So there’s no contention; you just go and enter, but the battle among the smaller ones inside is deadly, in addition to the existing dangers. The other realms, the level gets higher, and more significant clans will participate each ti." Calirer promptly replied, recalling having almost died inside one of them in the past.

"So these illusory demons, who are just a bit larger than us, must be preparing to enter this first one, which is the best place for them. They won’t co for a while; this gives us so ti." The whale spoke calmly. "Conduct a selection and appoint the twelve most powerful ones to be the new advisors. Give a week; I will prepare sothing that will completely change the history of this clan."
