In the early morning, they arrived at another smaller city called Bloody Skies City. This was where all the evil cultivators engaged in informal trade, selling all the ’useless’ things they accumulated from destroying and killing in the outside world.
Bruno and Alm wanted to find so techniques for beast tars in this universe for Ruri. In the sect, they could buy one of these techniques, but the techniques of this kind for evil cultivators involved enslaving the beast even before it hatched from the egg.
With this thod, the beast would beco completely loyal, even if one day it beca more powerful than the owner, and other techniques without this were considered low-level. But in their universe, one of the cultivators in the hero’s group they had to face was a beast tar. After the hero, she was the most troubleso thing they had to deal with.
People think that a beast tar should have a powerful and challenging-to-deal-with army. But this tar had only three beasts. And contrary to what all such techniques preached, none of her beasts had a slavery seal. All the beasts and she fought in a perfectly complenting group, covering each other’s flaws as if they anticipated each other’s movents.
But when the villainous Alm from the past defeated them in a bloody ambush, he realized that the bond between that group was sothing like a family. And the tar, despite being human, was like a mother who had cared for those divine beasts since their eggs.
Soon, they decided that perhaps Ruri could do sothing similar, and they decided to give it a try. If it went wrong, they would be happy to gain another Wyvern core to use. So, they looked for sothing simple for sale, coming from ordinary beast tars and not involving a slave seal.
At the entrance, they handed Almin several spatial rings. Inside were piles of junk that were with the five elders they killed inside the prison and the things Ruri took from old Dyen’s house. Almin was supposed to sell everything; he didn’t want to do it, but his won took them against his will.
The five Montide won also joined in to help, forming a large and eye-catching group. None of them were ugly, and everything within the rings was useful for evil cultivators, so with their attractive smiles, sales would be extrely quick.
Almin was a guy who accumulated many useless and sotis useful pieces of knowledge; he knew how to set a fair price for things. And his won were happy to spend ti with Almin.
The whale, Ruri, and Langrum walked calmly, analyzing everything the evil cultivators tried to sell. Obviously, the cultivators themselves didn’t waste their ti there as traders. The work was done by their slaves, and so just observed from afar, while others didn’t bother at all. Soon, all the spatial rings were laid out on a simple booth so that everyone could examine the contents.
Outside the world of evil cultivators, they were ruthless and didn’t follow any rules. But inside, no one tried to steal, and there were rarely similar problems. Nothing was better for dealing with crazies than another crazy person. No one wanted trouble with another cultivator as crazy and bloodthirsty as them, and everything remained in a strange order and respect out of fear.
Langrum saw many things that she found interesting. But the whale always said they were too expensive for the benefit, useless, or a complete and total waste. They simply pretended to already know or gave so excuse.
However, quickly, Ruri saw so shiny trinkets that were completely useless, and with bright eyes, she almost ran. The slave seller quickly felt her excitent, and looking at the whale and Langrum, he must have thought sothing strange. Soon, the price of those useless things was equivalent to throwing gold to the pigs, but the whale bought everything without looking back. And Langrum looked at the whale coldly, with that hypocrisy.
After so ti, Alm and Bruno found what they were looking for. It was a beast-tar technique, simple but useful. However, the slave didn’t want to sell it separately per orders from its owner. They had to buy the entire ring, which belonged to so deceased person.
Inside were many spears, short swords, and so simple wind manipulation techniques; perhaps the owner was a woman. There were lots of junk, and the price of everything wasn’t worth it; they didn’t want to waste resources. But Ruri, excited, reminded them of sothing.
"Master! The sisters will be able to train with all this; it won’t be wasted."
The whale took a deep breath, with Alm grumbling about having to spend on deadweights. In the end, they quickly bought everything. Bruno was now feeling sorry for these won; Alm was going to make them pay with hellish training in return.
In the late afternoon, just before they headed back, Langrum slowed down slightly, sensing sothing. She turned to a child vendor who seed to be a little older than Ruri. It was a boy with a slave mark on his forehead, extrely thin and worn out. Langrum clenched her fists tightly in anger, and the whale, seeing this, sighed.
He tried to turn and walk away calmly while Ruri was distracted. But, to Alm and Bruno’s profound dismay, Ruri turned around without any explanation; it seed like fate was against them. She then saw the sa as Langrum and squeezed the whale’s shoulder, who sighed deeply again.
"We can’t just do as we please. Life has its ways, and we’re in a city of evil cultivators," the whale said calmly, trying to leave in the hope that Langrum would realize.
"Let’s take a look at what he’s selling; maybe there’s sothing useful," Ruri murmured, looking at the whale pleadingly.
"There’s only a single ring, and no one even cos close to check it. It must only have trash leftovers. It’s a waste of ti," the whale said.
Neither Alm nor Bruno wanted to waste ti like this, and Langrum had already turned to leave. But when Ruri turned to them with a trembling look, they took light steps toward the booth, making Langrum look strangely at this easily manipulated whale.
The child quickly lifted his head in surprise when he saw soone approaching him. Then, trembling with fear, he saw a giant whale and an equally giant green and muscular woman. But quickly, a smiling little girl waved from the whale’s shoulder, and the child looked back dryly, seemingly unable to understand the smile on Ruri’s face.
At that mont, even Bruno felt really bad seeing that. Alm pretended not to care and looked into the spatial ring.
Then, he quickly analyzed the contents. ’Trash, trash, garbage, junk, big trash, unbelievable trash, hey, guess what?! More trash! Also tr-... hum? What?!’
Bruno suddenly was amazed by Alm’s reaction, and even before he looked into the ring, Alm assud the whale’s body and looked at the child deeply, speaking.
"Kid, who is your master? And where did he get these things?"
The child trembled slightly, then answered so low that Ruri could barely hear.
"Um... I don’t exactly know my master very well... but... these things are from my family... my master told to sell them."
The whale then looked deeply at the child. At that mont, Bruno had already seen the content of the ring and also had a strong reaction, murmuring.
"This... shattered into several pieces, is it really... really an immortal-level weapon?!"
