As it entered this ethereal space, it met a silver orb.
Smooth, spherical, and with a shiny surface, this was the "Core" of the "Core Formation realm".
If one took a look from the bottom up, they would discover that the lower half of this Core was melting, and a vast amount of liquid dripped down.
The Core Formation realm required the cultivator to purify their Spiritual Energy and turn it from liquid to solid.
This dripping part was what Chen Xuan had yet to purify.
The energy transformed by the Golden Core Elixir quickly wrapped around it.

Part of the energy was instantly assimilated. But as a result, the solidified portion of the Core had expanded.

Fortunately, Chen Xuan snapped out of it in time. He noticed the destruction around him and quickly took action.
He consciously restrained his own aura and worked to calm down the rioting Spiritual Energy.
A few moments later, he succeeded. The Spiritual Energy turned into rain and nourished the courtyard, while Chen Xuan finally opened his eyes.
He didn’t care about the destroyed courtyard.
A faint smile formed on his lips.
"Late Stage of the Core Formation realm!" he whispered.
