"If I have it, I would gladly give it to you, Soul Master Cai", Wu Long replied with a smile of his own. Yuanfen was on his other side, blissfully holding his arm as she walked, seemingly having all of her wishes completely satisfied with that alone.
"Soul Master huh... as of now I am afraid my humble abilities do not match such a high status", Cai Yin's smile turned slightly lancholic at the ntion of the title, and then wry as she talked about her abilities.
The title sounded grand, and was an official title which she held in the Eternal Duality Valley, but right now the most she was capable of was marginal support and offering help like in case of Gong Liwei's situation.
"Soul Cultivators are actually quite rare to find, promising ones even more so", Wu Long smiled, "Although I should clarify, that I an pure Soul Cultivators"

"Soul Power is versatile, and has many uses. Many who have talent in this field choose to apply their Soul Power to enhance their martial strength or Spiritual Qi techniques. It is also fundantal in many disciplines, such as Alchemy, Forging, dicine, all of the Symbol Arts. Yet it is very rare that one chooses to beco solely a Soul Cultivator", Wu Long nodded, explaining.
"Is it because it is a power that is hard to achieve great results in?", Cai Yin asked.
"Correct, it is one of the least understood of the Great Daos, and to this day is veiled in mystery, so complex that it is incredibly hard to cultivate and advance to higher realms as a pure Soul Cultivator. It also relies very heavily on natural talent, perhaps even more so than any other Dao"
Her expression turned more introspective as she listened, while he continued in a calm and steady manner.
"The diminishing effectiveness as one advances also doesn't add to the popularity. Among Mortals, Soul Cultivators can beco incredibly powerful, manipulating and bending everyone around to their will. However, starting with the Seven Profound Realms, and higher, more and more ordinary cultivators naturally develop thods of resistance to Soul Power while the great majority of Soul Cultivators can only increntally grow their abilities even as they advance to higher realms, thus having less and less effect on their peers in cultivation realms"
His words caused her to slightly tighten the grip of her hands, as she vaguely suspected that. It was simply too big of a risk for other cultivators to leave a gap in such a vulnerable area.
anwhile, Wu Long went on to add, "Those of the ruling classes still value pure Soul Cultivators since they can, if need be, influence the masses of their subjects - a large portion of whom would be susceptible - so you will often find Soul Cultivators near the seats of power, but the majority of those with the talent in Soul Cultivation simply gives up and practices other paths, only using Soul Power, as I said earlier, to enhance their abilities in the other fields"
She sighed, thinking that she got her answer. A Soul Cultivator could indeed take many paths, but it looked like almost all of them led to combining Soul Cultivation with so other Dao. The rest, offered a marginal supporting role that was powerless against peers.
"But it's not always so...", Wu Long added with a smile, "There are very rare cases, when Soul Cultivators have exceptional talent and through enormous effort are able to beco so of the most dangerous people around..."
He turned to her, as she stopped from surprise, adding, "And I believe you have what it takes, if you only are willing to take the hard path"
Her eyes widened at those words, her heartbeat instantly quickening. She gulped, as her mind stirred and started to race with thoughts.
It took a few monts, but then a decisive expression appeared on her face, as she nodded, "I am ready"
"Good", he nodded back, and then chuckled with a more light tone, "To be honest, not being a Soul Cultivator myself, and having virtually no talent in that field, only knowledge, I would find it hard to offer you this path. But with Mingyu's Dao Intent, it becos possible, or, almost inevitable"
"She is indeed incredible", Cai Yin nodded with sincere admiration, as she could feel the imnse effects when ditating within Luo Mingyu's Dao Field.
"Mm, but that is only a fraction of its true potential. Not to ntion, if, or more so, when you succeed... but I'm getting ahead of myself", he then had to slightly curb his excitent.
After all, if Cai Yin indeed was able to enter the path of a true Soul Cultivator, the combined effects of her, Luo Mingyu's and Gong Cui's abilities to elevate others was slightly terrifying to imagine even for him.

As Wu Long was taking a walk with Cai Yin and Yuanfen in the floating gardens of the city, on the other side of the city, in the inn the Wu Family stayed in, the beauties were still in the middle of training.
Liang Yuhan only ditated for a short period before, after receiving advice from the beauties. deciding that she still needed so physical rest after the vigorous night.
She could restore her stamina through cultivation, but it was far more effective to sleep for at least a few hours, and only then cultivate, in order to avoid having to ditate while feeling tired for the first few hours. It was sothing all of the beauties did.
As she went through the corridors, and entered her bedroom, an ordinary girl in servant's clothes followed her after so ti.
Most of the inn's workers were actually on paid leave, as the care for the Dao Family and those with them was done by Butler Bang's subordinates exclusively.
Yet they seed to not notice this young woman as she entered the restricted zone and then even went so far as going into the room where Liang Yuhan was laying on the bed.
The woman's eyes flashed with a little gold as she smirked, "Heh... what, he's not here? What a pity, I thought I'd see his face after a while... but I don't have much ti to wait for his return"
She then approached the beauty on the bed who just so monts ago finally slipped into light slumber.
"Took him long enough...", she smiled, and softly put her fingers that started flowing with golden light onto the beauty's forehead.
After so ti, she raised her eyebrows in anticipation, and this ti there appeared to be no reaction that burnt her fingers before. Her lips curled up in a smile, seemingly satisfied by her improved technique.
Confirming her business here was done, she quickly retreated to exit the room, but before being done, as she stopped by the door, she took a look toward the courtyard with the other ladies.
"Haha, so he took that fox with him after all, hahaha", an amused expression appeared on her face, but as she searched further, she didn't seem to find sothing she expected, "Hmm... did they not et? No... that would be strange... maybe she's with him..."
As she was going to look for Wu Long, the communication jade tied to her sash began reacting.
'Crap, I better get going...', she instantly disappeared from the spot, as a thought that she would have another chance anyway went through her mind.
At this mont, on the other side of the city, Yuanfen turned in the direction of the inn, and smiled before turning back to continue walking with Wu Long.
