"It seems that only those citizens who left beforehand managed to escape by sheer luck."

In the Green Forest, Yakus, Land, and two young dragons crouched on the ground.

After listening to Land’s recount, Yakus sighed.

"Escape by sheer luck? Hahahaha! That’s not necessarily the case!"

Land suddenly laughed out loud.

He was in a great mood.

Because he made Viscount Ireland and his wife pay the price, those two reptiles.

As for the deaths of anyone besides Viscount Ireland and his wife, those two ants, he didn’t care at all.

In his previous life, Land wasn’t exactly a bad person, but not really a good person either.

He once saw a post on the internet.

If you had superhuman strength, what would you do?

At that ti, Land answered, go to the Eagle Nation, and beco an ancestor there!

And now, his answer was almost the sa.

Coming to another world, he would beco an ancestor dragon!

Those who follow will prosper, those who oppose will perish!

If he couldn’t achieve this, then it ant his power wasn’t enough.

Especially since not long ago, he unlocked [Killing Enemies] II.

Now, his physical growth had reached as high as 23 points!

"?"

Yakus was puzzled, looking confused.

"I’m a Five-Colored Dragon! Don’t you know what the primary duty of a Five-Colored Dragon is?"

The Giant Dragon questioned in this way.

His gaze beca a bit wandering, and he began to narrate with relish.

Two months ago.

The first citizens to leave the city were mostly wealthy rchant families.

They traveled in carriages, forming a convoy headed southwest.

Several adventurers hired to protect them rode alongside on horseback.

The entire convoy was quite lively. A few carriages traveled side by side, their curtains drawn, and engaged in casual conversation.

One middle-aged man with a bulging belly looked at the young man opposite him and said:

"To think that reaching middle age, I would still have to leave my ho! That bastard Viscount Ireland must have done sothing that incited both man and god! Otherwise, why would we have to suffer like this?"

"President lbourne! Do you still feel anything for this city? To be honest, ever since that fool Haili Shan drove ’Audition’ away, I haven’t had any attachnt! I truly wish that woman would go to hell sooner!"

"Hey! You’re absolutely right! Sigh! Ever since I haven’t seen the fiery Miss Elf from ’Audition’, my days have been miserable!

Nothing I do has vigor! It’s like being dead."

"I wonder where ’Audition’ is now! I miss them so much!" the young man lanted.

Suddenly.

"Roar!!!"

A loud dragon roar resonated from the sky.

Everyone looked up to see a giant dragon with black scales on its back and red scales on its belly descending from the sky!

Boom!!

Accompanied by a booming sound on the ground, the giant dragon landed.

He spread his dragon wings with a playful low growl:

"Welco to my domain!

My dear little darlings! It’s robbery ti! Now! Hand over all your treasures!"

"Quick! Turn around! Run!"

The rchants on the carriages were terrified at the sight of the Giant Dragon and urgently urged the drivers to turn the carriages around.

Perhaps because the dragon didn’t release its Dragon Mighty, the horses were still obedient, but just as they turned around.

On the other side, with howls, three or four dozen Half-Beastn erged from the bushes!

With green faces and vicious looks, they approached nacingly, wielding wolf fang clubs!

Now, retreat was also blocked!

Drivers dared not move an inch.

Surrounded by the Giant Dragon and Half-Beastn in front and back, sweat poured down everyone’s faces.

"Choose! Will you hand over your treasures to save your lives, or remain defiant and let my minions collect your corpses?"

The Giant Dragon leaned down, poking his huge head in front of a carriage.

At this point, even without releasing its Dragon Mighty, the horses couldn’t withstand the pressure, and one shrieked, about to go mad.

As a result, the Giant Dragon gently raised a dragon claw and sliced from the tip of the driver’s nose straight down!

Boom!!!

The ground shook, the horse’s head and part of its body were flattened on the earth like a dinsion collapse!

The rear part of the body jutted out in a stiff, awkward posture.

Due to the horse’s tilted body, the driver slamd directly into the dragon claw; glancing down at the bloody ground, he scread in terror and fainted imdiately.

The Giant Dragon slowly retracted his claw, raising one to his muzzle, and whispering:

"Now it’s question ti! Unimportant little darlings, please keep quiet, I don’t like disobedient little darlings, do you understand?"

"Gulp~"

A group of rchants, watching the still-dripping dragon claw, felt their hearts race wildly, and they trembled as they whispered:

"His Highness the Giant Dragon, please let’s talk things over! We’ll give you money! Isn’t that enough?"

"Oh! A wise choice! Clever little darlings."

The Giant Dragon cast a look of approval at the rchant who spoke first.

"Now go! Bring out all the treasures from the carriage!"

Hearing this, the rchants imdiately began trembling as they moved one wooden chest after another from the carriage and opened them in front of Land.

Land looked at one of the wooden chests, which was filled with Gold Talers, and roughly estimated there were at least a hundred and thirty to forty coins!

"It’s...it’s all here, Your Highness the Giant Dragon, take it, may I...may I leave now?"

The rchant said in a trembling voice.

The other rchants were the sa, having enjoyed good lives, they feared death the most.

In their eyes, as long as they were alive, there was still a future.

At least, besides these treasures, they still had other things, like...

So rchants subtly glanced at the Gem Rings on their hands, the Gold Necklaces on their necks, and the Gold Notes in their pockets.

As long as they had these, their lives could still be carefree!

"Leave? My little darlings, are you joking? You still have many valuable treasures on you!

Yes! You there, with six Gem Rings on your hands! Take them off for ! And your clothes! Pants! Strip them all! They are all mine!"

The Giant Dragon growled, stepping forward to this rchant, thrusting its massive head to his face, exhaling a fierce hot breath that made him wet his pants.

The other rchants nearly lost their minds upon hearing this.

They wished they could beco Dragon Slayers, snatch up the wooden chests from the ground and smash them on this Evil Dragon’s head to make it buzz off.

But after comparing their sizes, they silently bowed and hesitantly removed so rings and Gold Necklaces.

However, the Giant Dragon grew impatient and gave a side glance.

Soon, the Half-Beastn understood, and rushed up with a howl to strip the rchants.

Before long, this group of rchants was stripped naked, shivering in the wind with their arms wrapped around their large legs, half-squatting.

And the Giant Dragon, with his Half-Beastn, escorted the treasures away!

With just this haul, the Giant Dragon earned nearly three thousand Gold Talers!

The gentle breeze blew, on the trade route, nearly a hundred pale, trembling figures with tearful eyes.

"It’s over! It’s all over! My treasures are gone! How can we live in the future!"

The group of people wailed, downcast and dejected.

So wonfolk leaned towards a few Adventurers.

To them, rchants without wealth were nothing, and they were ready to rely on others.

But then a rchant suddenly laughed, pulling out a Ruby from his belly button.

"Luckily, my belly is big, and my belly button is big, so barely kept my only asset! This Ruby is Matara’s Stone, worth 10 Gold Talers!

Though it can’t let live as before, it can at least guarantee a comfortable standard of living, and find solace in hardship.

Maybe I can make a coback!"

The rchant’s words carried a hint of pride.

People tend to be this way, eager to brag when slightly better off than others amidst shared misfortune.

Those around looked surprised, with soone slapping their thigh, regretting not thinking to hide sothing themselves!

So won winked at the rchant, seemingly implying sothing.

"Heh heh!"

Suddenly, soone sneered, raising his right leg, and plucking four gems from his toes, and then another four from his left toes, saying:

"Luckily, I used to be an Illusionist, nimble with my hands and feet, and managed to hide so gems when those Half-Beastn and the Giant Dragon weren’t looking.

Though not many, they’re worth around twenty-five Gold Talers, which is not bad!"

He spoke and glanced discreetly at the person who had just spoken, causing their face to twitch.

All the won’s gazes imdiately turned to this man.

"Hmph!"

With a snort, everyone’s attention was drawn to a man with a sowhat large head.

He suddenly opened his mouth and spat out a thin Gold Note from under his tongue, coldly saying:

"Luckily, I had hidden a fifty Gold Taler Note in advance! My wealthy life will never be stopped by a re Evil Dragon!

Just wait! Once I make a coback, I’ll make that Evil Dragon pay!"

"Hahaha! You poor things! The money you’ve hidden is nothing! Let give you a real treat to see! That Evil Dragon only got my superficial wealth! Not worth ntioning at all!

My real treasure is right here!"

At this point, a fat man, previously known as President lbourne, spoke.

Everyone watched him slightly raise his buttocks, and in shock and disbelief, he pulled out several Gold Certificates!

"Hahaha! I’ve got as much as two hundred Gold Talers here! Adventurers, just keep protecting well and I don’t mind doubling your rewards once we reach our destination!"

"No worries, President lbourne! We will definitely protect you!" These Adventurers responded excitedly.

"President lbourne! As expected of the great president! So wise and thoughtful! There’s no way those Half-Beastn and Evil Dragon could’ve thought of this! You are truly incredible!"

"President lbourne, I assu you’re still unmarried, right? How do you find my daughter?"

"Hahaha!"

lbourne looked at the attentive won, especially one whom he had long admired, and laughed proudly.

But just then the sky darkened, and he looked up sharply, only to see the Evil Dragon return from above.

With the ground shaking thunderously.

The pair of blood-red eyes t his!

The air seed to freeze at that mont.
