"Then," Selaira said, holding Noa’s hand, "I will turn him into the academy’s greatest warrior."

"What?"

"She has to be joking, right?"

"Or is this so kind of experint she is conducting?"

"There is no other explanation for why soone of her station would take his side."

"But the strongest warrior? The Graveworm boy? That’s just not possible."

As the elders conversed among themselves, their interest in Noa had deepened. They wanted to know what she had seen in him.

However, the oldest elder had an idea of his own.

"It’s not about the boy. She doesn’t give a crap about him. All she wants to do is show us her authority and act as she pleases."

"I second that. Her attitude shows that she is testing her limits—to see how far she can push us."

"What if," the muscular woman chid in, "what if she helps the boy, and he does beco sothing?"

For a mont, the room fell silent.

Letting the girl handle Noa had no risk for them. If she failed, that would give them leverage over her. If the impossible happened and she succeeded, the consequences wouldn’t be that dire either.

"That won’t happen," the ginger woman said, rising from her seat, her eyes shining with mischievous wonder.

Selaira, anwhile, didn’t care about their thoughts.

She still held Noa’s hand and stord out of the council chamber, ignoring the stares she was getting.

The thick pressure vanished the mont Noa saw the closed doors.

Finally, he let out a deep breath he had no idea he had been holding for the past few seconds. "You didn’t have to do that. But it was a cool power move," he muttered.

"I am glad you enjoyed the show," she answered, letting his hand go. "Don’t think that I did it for you. I really saw sothing worth nurturing."

"I figured... That’s why I wanted you to see fight," Noa said with a smirk.

"Confident, are we?"

He nodded, not denying the claim. "How are you going to train ? Is it so kind of secret training that can turn any man into an unbeatable prodigy?"

The girl shook her head.

Through the marble halls, passing through the talkative students who didn’t miss their closeness, they walked side by side. By the ti they reached the cafeteria, Selaira replied,

"You will see. But don’t you dare take my thods lightly. They are hard to follow, and you might even beg to expel you from the academy."

Noa snorted. "That won’t happen."

"We will see," Selaira said and went completely silent.

anwhile, they stepped inside the cafeteria as students continued to flood in.

The girl’s presence alone was enough to catch attention, but walking beside the Graveworm boy, who was on the verge of being expelled, sparked a hundred rumors in seconds.

"Wait! What’s going on?"

"You see that as well? I am not dreaming, right? Why the hell is that parasite talking to our goddess?"

"Maybe he is bothering her."

"We should probably do sothing."

But when the boys who assud it was finally their ti to score so points with her received a cold glare from her, they imdiately stepped back.

No one, including the council mbers, knew which family Selaira belonged to.

However, one thing was clear: whoever it was, they held imnse power to allow her to act like a queen.

That’s why she was believed to be royalty. Especially when the Arcane Academy’s principal herself handled her admission and hid her true identity.

Yet Noa strolled casually with soone like her.

He even dared to act without showing utmost respect and politeness to her, which irked the spectators even more.

Noa, however, grinned to himself. ’I can’t wait to see their reactions when they find out she will be training ,’ he thought and searched for the familiar faces.

Thankfully, Thalia’s brown hair was easy to spot.

She remained seated with a tray of food filling her table.

"Do you want to join us?" Noa offered Selaira, pointing to the table.

"She is the one who told what was happening," the girl nodded and explained. "She told that you could prove how amazing you are if I were to help you this once."

"Really?" Noa exclaid, his smile warming.

Thalia was like a guardian angel to him. From the mont he had first opened his eyes in this world, she had always been there.

Even now—

When Noa had a hard ti, she didn’t hesitate to act.

Suddenly, she also noticed their approach and, putting her spoon away, her eyes glimred in excitent.

Noa grinned. "You aren’t eating without , are you? And where did the others go?"

She swallowed first before smiling softly. "It’s delicious. As for the boys, they took the chatterbox boy to the infirmary. He looked hideous."

Then she glanced at Selaira. "Thank you for believing . You are just as amazing as I thought you would be."

The girl nodded, her lips parting into what looked like a rare smile. "You said that you saw the future. Can you tell more about it?"

’She even shared her secret?’ Noa realized. "I wanted to hear about that as well."

Thalia nodded. "Noa is the only one who knows that, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could keep this a secret," she began. "He was the only one I had been dreaming of all this ti. But yesterday was different. I saw both of you, and I believe our fates are intertwined."

"What do you an?" Selaira questioned.

"I saw Noa and you. Both of you at the sa ti, and I knew if I wanted to help Noa, I had to speak with you first.

However, there is a feeling in my chest—sothing I can’t really explain but know instinctively, I will be seeing you a lot more, and it’s not because of Noa either."

Silence fell for a mont.

The trio exchanged glances before Selaira locked eyes with the pair. "How about both of you train with ?"
