"Impressive, truly impressive, old-tir!"
The North Kai's loud voice echoed through the vast sky and resounded within Taro's mind.
Taro reined in his expansive thoughts, offering a faint smile as he gently smoothed the feathers of the seven colorful birds nestled in his arms. Shaking his head, he replied: "This is nothing. As you've ntioned, my power level has already reached 200,000. Dealing with them didn't even require the use of Muken."
The North Kai sighed. "Exactly! But man, calling you an 'old-tir' feels stranger and stranger, especially now that you look like a young man!"
"Whether I appear young or old doesn't matter to ." Taro responded calmly.
"Do you think I care about that?—Still, it feels like a dream. Just over a year ago, you could only fight to a draw for a few seconds using your eyes. And now?"
The North Kai sounded wistful, even from his distant location. "Now, I couldn't even handle the two warriors you just defeated..."
Taro dismissed the notion. "You're a Kai, my lord. There's no need for you to concern yourself with such things."
A soft chuckle drifted down from the heavens.
With the birds still in tow, Taro descended from the sky, piercing through clouds and landing on a ravaged stretch of earth. The once-bustling city lay in ruins, its crisscrossing roads fractured, and most of the high-rise buildings abandoned. Glass façades were shattered into shards scattered across the ground.
"Wh-who is that?" The remaining crowd stared at Taro with a mix of fear and apprehension as he descended. Their worldview had been completely upended by the events of the past few hours.
Suddenly, soone shouted. "It's a god! He's a god! He saved us!"
Taro furrowed his brow. The seven vibrant birds in his arms flapped their wings, trying to escape, but he gently pressed them back down. Ignoring the crowd, he strode toward several enormous interconnected craters in the ground.
He activated Bukujutsu, lifting himself into the air before descending into one of the craters.
The people hesitated, then cautiously approached the edge, peering down—
But the crater was empty. Taro had vanished without a trace.
They failed to notice that not only had Taro disappeared, but so had the mysterious object that had been lying at the center of the crater.

Taro found Fabeli again a while later. The creature was dragging a convoy of supply carts out of a skyscraper.
"Where'd you get the money for this?" Taro asked, gripping the rim of a spherical spacecraft's hatch as easily as if it were a piece of paper. He peered at Mouse, seated in the driver's seat, looking like soone who had just finished a shopping spree.
The scientist rolled his eyes. "What do you think? Looting during chaos is my specialty!" He glanced at the item in Taro's hand and hesitated before asking nervously. "Isn't that... one of their special spacecraft? Did you—"
"I killed them all." Taro replied flatly, as casually as if discussing pulling weeds by the roadside.
"Gulp..." He swallowed hard, taking a deep breath before sighing and shaking his head. "Well, that's to be expected. My fear of them must've been too deeply ingrained. Considering you can survive freely on a planet with 500 tis normal gravity... what can I say?"
"I'm here to say goodbye." Taro said.
Fabeli wasn't surprised. He had prepared himself for this and, truthfully, he'd been hoping for it. Taro's imnse power and seemingly detached deanor unnerved him. The man killed without batting an eye, yet treated the birds in his arms with a strange tenderness. It was unsettling—Taro was clearly a dangerous enigma. Fabeli, as reckless as he considered himself, didn't relish staying close to soone who could so effortlessly end his life.
"Here's so advice for you." Taro added before leaving. "Stick to the outer edges of the galaxy. If you run into those people... you won't survive."
"Don't worry about !" He grinned, dismissing the warning. "They rely on technology, and even if I run into those monsters, I'm confident my genius can get out of trouble."
After all, he thought, with my unparalleled brilliance, even those bastards wouldn't dare kill , right?
Taro shook his head, declining to say more. "Take care of yourself."
With that, he vanished from the spot, carrying the spherical spacecraft in his hand.
Fabeli sat silently in his vehicle for a long mont, staring out the window at the tall buildings—familiar yet utterly alien—and the expansive sky that no longer felt like ho. As alien faces began reappearing on the streets, he sighed deeply, started the vehicle, and drove off, the convoy of automated carts trailing behind him.
Beyond the city, in a grassy forest clearing, a spaceship awaited him, standing silently amid the landscape.

Taro reappeared above Snake Way, leaving the seven birds behind. He spoke a few words to them, then disappeared again.
Monts later, he was on King Kai's Planet.
King Kai imdiately sensed Taro's approaching energy. Startled, he turned to see Taro drop the spherical spacecraft onto the grassy ground of the planet, which held ten tis Earth's gravity, with a resounding thud.
"Brrr... Brrr..." Bubbles was peeling a banana when Taro appeared. The monkey stared at him for a long ti, feeling that he looked oddly familiar.
It wasn't Bubbles' fault—it was difficult to reconcile the Taro of the past with the man standing before him now.
A year ago, Taro had arrived on King Kai's Planet as a man whose potential seed utterly spent. His graying temples and weathered face belied his peak physical condition, suggesting he was at the apex of his abilities—but also that the apex might not last much longer.
Now, Taro's appearance was that of a young man in his early twenties. His thick, jet-black hair flowed down his back, his face was smooth and free of wrinkles, and his skin was taut and radiant.
But more striking than his youthful transformation was his presence.
If the Taro of a year ago had been like an ancient, withered tree, the Taro of today resembled a towering, divine tree with branches that seed to pierce the heavens.
It was clear that he hadn't yet reached his peak.
The boundless, ocean-like energy emanating from him instinctively unsettled Bubbles, making the monkey slightly fearful.
"Long ti no see, Bubbles," Taro said, offering a gentle smile to the monkey sitting on the grass. Only then did Bubbles recognize him, jumping up and down and chattering excitedly in response.
"Why did you bring that here?" King Kai approached, looking perplexed as he gestured toward the spherical spacecraft.
"This will be useful soday," Taro replied with a smile.
"Are you planning to take it back to Earth?" King Kai suddenly understood, though he added, "But if I rember correctly, Earth's science is still far from being capable of space travel, right?"
Taro shook his head. "We'll deal with that when the ti cos."
King Kai nodded and looked Taro up and down. "Are you planning to go now? To the place the Nakian dragon ntioned, the one suitable for cultivating spiritual power?"
Taro raised an eyebrow. "After all this preparation, my physical training can take a backseat for now. I believe that even if there are unexpected dangers on that planet, my current abilities are more than sufficient to handle them."
"Of course. What could possibly go wrong? With your current power, especially if you use the Muken... You've ntioned you can now use it at 15x, right?" King Kai said. When Taro nodded, he continued with a shake of his head. "Then there's nothing to worry about. At your current level, you probably don't even have to fear the two captains of the First Special Forces Unit... except for him..."
Taro knew King Kai was referring to Frieza, but he still asked. "Him? Are you talking about the person those soldiers serve?"
King Kai's face darkened as though recalling sothing horrific. "Yes—but let warn you, you must avoid crossing paths with him. His power and malice are beyond anything you can imagine. If you ever encounter him, run imdiately! With your ability to survive in space and use Instant Transmission, you can escape. You don't understand—he's terrifying... Even if you could use the Muken at 100x, you wouldn't stand a chance against him!"
King Kai shook his head and sighed deeply. Frieza's existence weighed heavily on the minds of all four Kais.
Once upon a ti, their greatest concern had been a tyrant nad King Cold, a monstrously powerful and malevolent being. However, King Cold was gravely injured years ago, diminishing his threat. Just as the Kais were beginning to celebrate, King Cold's offspring, Frieza, was born—soone even more terrifying than his father.
120 Million...
The number resurfaced in Taro's mind, an almost untouchable figure as unreachable as the sky. Yet, he found himself strangely calm in the face of such a gulf in power.
"What about the two captains of the First Special Forces Unit? That soldier ntioned their power levels are both over 1 million." Taro asked, his tone asured.
"That's true!" King Kai nodded, frowning. "Actually, this is sothing that puzzles ..."
He was puzzled by the fact that both captains had power levels exceeding 1 million, yet Frieza maintained his 530,000-power-level base form in their presence. Didn't he fear they might revolt and try to kill him?
After so thought, King Kai continued: "These two seem to have appeared out of nowhere. They're said to be twins with identical appearances. Their power far surpasses that of most high-level warriors in the universe, and no one has ever managed to harm them. However, I once overheard a conversation between them, and from that, I discovered a secret..."
King Kai paused briefly, then added: "The terrifying power those two possess... cos directly from the person they serve!"
