"Boom!"

A splendid rainbow streaked across the sky from the distance.

The pitch-black night sky was instantly illuminated as if it were daylight, and everyone in the Hao Tian Clan was startled awake.

They all woke from their sleep, erged from their houses, and looked up at the sky.

Shock and disbelief were etched on their faces.

Tang Xiao and the Seven Great Elders, who were in the hall, naturally also noticed the commotion outside and stood frozen on the spot.

For a mont, they didn’t react.

Tang Yuehua’s face was filled with joy.

"The patriarch has returned, the patriarch has returned!"

"See, my man didn’t lie to ."

"That man of mine, his word is as good as gold, how could he ever break his promise to !"

"How... How could this be possible," the seventh elder said, dumbfounded as a pair of eagle eyes seed to lose focus, "Elder Tang Chen has been missing for so many years, how could he suddenly return at this critical mont."

The third elder murmured, "It’s a coincidence, just a coincidence."

"Can it be that our patriarch has really co back?" Sect Master Tang Hao also muttered with wide tiger eyes.

It was indeed because Elder Tang Chen had been missing for such a long ti that not to ntion Hao Tian Clan’s extensive search could not find any trace of Tang Chen, even Martial Soul Hall and the other six of the Seven Great Sects lacked any information regarding Elder Tang Chen.

Nearly all powers had co to the conclusion that Elder Tang Chen had t with an unfortunate fate.

So soone whom everyone thought had died was suddenly returning?

Returning on his own?

The Eldest Elder’s eyes suddenly burst with intense joy.

No longer maintaining his usual composure, he yelled,

"What the hell are all of you standing around for, hurry up and go welco the patriarch!"

"Right, right, right!! What could be more important than welcoming the patriarch back!" Tang Xiao’s gaze regained its clarity, and he rushed out of the hall.

The seventh elder was also in a hurry to run outside, and he didn’t forget to turn back and glare at Tang Yuehua,

"Yuehua, this must be a coincidence."

"How could that kid resolve the danger that trapped our patriarch? We will let the patriarch judge the matter of you and that naless youngster’s dalliance later!"

Tang Yuehua originally had a joyful expression, her heart filled with astonishnt at Luo Yu.

Brother Yu had done it; Brother Yu had actually managed to rescue the patriarch.

It must be Brother Yu!

If others suspected this was a coincidence, but Tang Yuehua had absolute faith in her man.

Otherwise, why would the patriarch, missing for so many years, not co back earlier or later?

He returned after her man promised he would go out and rescue him.

She glared fiercely at the seventh elder, her previous lack of confidence replaced with a cold sneer,

"Fine, then let the patriarch judge and decide!"

"No tears until they see a coffin," she scoffed.

The seventh elder flicked his sleeve, ignored her, and muttered to himself,

"Given the patriarch’s pride, how could he tolerate the Eldest Princess of the Hao Tian Clan being with a re common boy?

At the very least, she should be paired with a young talent from one of the Seven Great Sects, shouldn’t she?"

"Boom!"

At the foot of the mountain, hundreds of disciples of the Hao Tian Clan gathered, all looking up into the sky.

The rainbow in the sky paused, revealing a tall figure, whose lined face showed signs of life’s vicissitudes.

His eyes were firm and strong, his black hair fluttering, exuding an unbridled aura.

His billowing robe underscored his powerful deanor.

He looked down below, his gaze sweeping over the younger mbers of the Hao Tian Clan, full of dominance.

At that mont, the Eldest Elder and Tang Xiao, leading the way, burst forth from the hall to the top of the cliff.

They caught sight of that tall figure.

They trembled, slamd to a halt, and stood there dumbfounded.

"The patriarch! It’s really Elder Tang Chen!!"

Excited voices erupted.

Whether it was the older elders, or the mid-ranks of the sect down below, their surprise and shock were accompanied by tears of emotion.

Ever since Elder Tang Chen went missing, the Hao Tian Clan had fallen from its forr glory, suppressed by Martial Soul Hall.

They could only hide deep in the mountains, venturing rarely in or out.

Now that the ancestral founder had returned, everyone clearly understood what this ant.

Among them, Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua were the most excited, with shimring tears in their eyes.

To others, Tang Chen was a spiritual belief, and his return signified that the Hao Tian Clan would inevitably rise again.

But for the siblings, this was Grandfather, the close relative they had lost for many years.

Tang Chen stood aloft in the sky, his robes billowing, radiating a terrifying aura, yet not harming a single person below.

He let out a heaven-shaking roar that echoed for a hundred miles around.

It startled countless birds and beasts in the mountains.

"Years have passed."

"I, Tang Chen, have finally returned!"

Tang Xiao led the way, dropping to the ground with a thud, hands pounding the earth.

"Descendant Tang Xiao, on behalf of all mbers of the Hao Tian Clan, respectfully welcos the return of our esteed ancestor to the sect!!"

"Bang, bang, bang!"

"We welco the esteed ancestor’s return."

The seven elders followed, kneeling in succession, not using their seniority as an excuse. In the Hao Tian Clan, Tang Chen was the absolute, invincible heaven, supre and unparalleled.

A sound like the roaring of the sea rose from the mountains; although all mbers of the Hao Tian Clan knelt, their voices were incredibly uplifting.

Nostalgia flashed in Tang Chen’s eyes as he looked down at his children and grandchildren, his gaze becoming increasingly gentle.

He raised his hand and gestured towards the ground.

"Everyone, rise."

All felt a gentle force at their knees, lifting them to their feet.

Tang Xiao bit his lip in excitent.

This was Grandfather’s strength!!

Even his Hyper Douluo strength felt as insignificant as an ant in front of Grandfather’s presence.

Tang Chen’s voice was not loud, but it thundered in everyone’s ears like a clap of thunder.

"All of you, raise your heads. We, the people of the Hao Tian Sect, shall never bow down."

"Yes!"

The response was uniform and resolute; none in the Hao Tian Clan dared not to comply, straightening their spines and holding their heads high.

"This... this is the charisma of our ancestor!" Tang Yuehua’s beautiful eyes shone brightly, feeling an increased sense of gratitude towards her own man.

Tang Chen descended from the sky, stepping onto the mountaintop.

Tang Xiao and the seven elders imdiately stepped aside respectfully, bowing their bodies.

Tang Chen’s voice rumbled, "Xiao’er, are you in charge of the sect now?"

"Yes," Tang Xiao answered nervously.

"Lift your head when you speak. Don’t be so cowering. Where is the deanor of a sect master?"

Tang Xiao shuddered, feeling that sothing was odd, as though the great ancestor didn’t seem pleased.

He felt as though he could sense a grievance.

In fact, his feeling was correct. Tang Chen was filled with resentnt. If it hadn’t been for the need to maintain the poise of a venerable and the dignity of an ancestor, he might have started cursing by now.

After parting with Luo Yu, he went to visit the ruins of the Hao Tian Clan, only to discover devastation, ruins and overgrowth taller than a person.

Shocked, he thought the Hao Tian Clan had been eradicated and couldn’t help feeling imnse sorrow, lanting at the sect’s remains that his return had co too late.

That his descendants had been annihilated.

While crying out, he noticed there were still people around. After interrogating soone he had grabbed, he learned that the Hao Tian Clan had simply moved.

At that mont, he had socially died from embarrassnt, toe-curling, nearly desiring to silence the witness.

However, after inquiring from countless people, he still couldn’t find the location of the Hao Tian Clan.

Eventually, he captured a branch master from Martial Soul Hall and, under duress, learned that the Hao Tian Clan had moved to a place he had once agreed with Qian Daoliu to spare his own descendants.

"Xiao’er, I am tired," Tang Chen closed his eyes.

Tang Xiao imdiately caught on and ran to the cliff face.

Gathering energy in his dantian.

"Night has fallen; all clan mbers should return and rest for now. Co back tomorrow to pay respects to our ancestor!"

"Yes!"

The ancestor’s return left everyone in the sect too excited to think of sleep, yet they still obediently heeded the command...
