"Let take him on!"
Luo Yu watched as a petite girl with a sweet appearance and adorable deanor from the Tianshui team stepped forward, her large eyes blazing with anger as she locked gazes with Huowushuang.
"Ming i, don’t be reckless!" Shui Bing’er urged.
The petite girl said earnestly:
"Captain, don’t worry. This guy has won against two opponents, so his Soul Power should be mostly depleted by now. If I go up, I can help alleviate so of the pressure on you earlier."
With those words, she leapt onto the stage.
Behind her, the shadow of a Devil Soul Great White Shark materialized, charging straight for Huowushuang.
Huowushuang shook his head repeatedly, looking sowhat disinterested.
"Another Soul Elder? Has Tianshui Academy run out of people?"
"Boom!"
The battle ensued on the stage.
Luo Yu said to Shui Yue’er, "Honestly, it looks like your academy is in for more bad luck than good today."
_
Shui Yue’er gave him a fierce glance.
"What makes you say that?"
Luo Yu glanced at the stage.
"That Huowushuang still has about seventy percent of his Soul Power left."
"This adorable girl that just went up won’t be a match for him."
"Plus, they still have an even stronger Huo Wu. Can you handle that?"
Shui Yue’er listened, sowhat stunned, and stared at Luo Yu incredulously.
"Impossible, even my sister couldn’t discern the opponent’s true state."
"How can you be so precise in your judgnt?"
Luo Yu smiled, "Have I been wrong before?"
Shui Yue’er was surprised. She recalled how Luo Yu had seen through the opponent’s tactical deploynt with a single glance.
Before, none of them had expected Huowushuang to be the first to enter the fray.
This man seed to have so unnatural ability.
As Ming i was being progressively overpowered on the stage by Huowushuang, with little chance of fighting back,
Shui Yue’er looked at Luo Yu in amazent.
"How can your eyes be so perceptive?"
Luo Yu waved his hand nonchalantly, "Don’t you know?"
"Perception is equivalent to one’s own strength."
"This..."
Shui Yue’er was at a loss for words, looking at Luo Yu with suspicion, repeatedly sizing up this man.
She felt she might need to reassess this man.
He seed a little mysterious, not as simple as she had thought.
"You must have been very formidable before you ended up in a wheelchair," Shui Yue’er inquired.
Luo Yu shook his head.
"No."
"I feel that ever since I’ve been in this wheelchair, I’ve beco even more formidable."
"What?" Shui Yue’er’s eyes widened.
"I’ve been crippled, but I’ve also grown stronger."
Luo Yu believed he was telling the truth, given that his legs now sealed the complete Source of Divinity.
As Divine Power continuously leaked from the sealing cracks, refining his body,
every breath he took was, in fact, a step towards a stronger transformation.
He felt this way, but Shui Yue’er didn’t buy it at all.
She rolled her eyes at Luo Yu.
"You always joke with ," she scoffed.
"You don’t even make your lies sound believable, always saying things no one could possibly believe."
Luo Yu pursed his lips, "You’re being too hasty in your judgnt. I think you should believe ."
"I might believe you if you could just stand up and walk a few steps," proposed Shui Yue’er.
"Uh..."
Luo Yu looked a bit embarrassed.
"I can do anything else, but just not that.
Shui Yue’er patted his shoulder.
"That’s okay, take it easy. After the competition is over, my sister and I will find a doctor to see if we can help you stand up again," she consoled.
While they were talking, Ming i was knocked off the stage.
Her hair by her temples was even scorched, and her originally adorable youthful face looked sowhat disheveled.
With her head lowered and lips pressed tightly together, her voice was filled with apology and guilt, "Captain, I’m sorry, I’m useless, I’ve lost too."
Shui Bing’er shook her head, stroking her own hair.
"It’s not your fault."
"You did your best."
At this mont, the enthusiasm of the cheering crowd had vanished.
Words of encouragent were sohow hard to utter.
They looked towards the Tianshui Battle Team with a touch of disappointnt.
Three consecutive defeats had cast a shadow of failure over the Heavenly Water Girl Group.
A gloomy silence fell within the team, with everyone quiet.
Only four mbers remained in the team, one of them a support, and the other two even weaker than Ming i and Yi Na who had just fought. Even with Shui Bing’er’s strength, one tree does not make a forest.
It seed as though defeat was already set in stone.
In contrast, on the stage, Huowushuang who had won three rounds was now extrely arrogant.
A sharp aura of a strong victor rose around him.
His eyes shone with divine light, overwhelmingly powerful.
A layer of orange-red flas surged around him, and his face, covered in scales, appeared slightly ferocious. From his higher position, he looked down on the seven girls of the Tianshui team.
"Any other takers?"
"Don’t waste ti, get the next one on stage quickly."
Xue Wu and the other two girls were itching to move, but they all knew that going on stage would likely result in a loss, only making this guy more arrogant.
And Shui Bing’er understood that if she went up now, Huowushuang would drain her Soul Power. Consequently, there would be no doubt of defeat when facing the even stronger Huo Wu later on.
"No one dares to co up?"
Huowushuang sneered continuously, clearly scorning them.
"Tianshui Battle Team, I see you’re nothing special."
"You might as well skip the Senior Soul Master competition altogether to avoid embarrassing the Five Elents Academy."
Luo Yu’s deep black eyes locked onto Huowushuang, a flash of disgust crossing his lips.
This Huowushuang had ulterior motives, psychologically attacking the girls with his words in an effort to break their ntal defenses, erode their fighting spirit, and shatter their confidence in competing.
That way, by the ti the main event ca around, he would have an overwhelming advantage against Tianshui Academy.
As defeat lood like a landslide, the atmosphere at Tianshui Academy beca oppressively dense.
The girls clenched their fists tightly, beautiful eyes filled with unwillingness.
The audience empathized deeply, feeling extrely frustrated that they were being beaten so soundly on their ho turf, allowing the opponent to be so smugly arrogant—it was more than they could bear.
But what could they do if they couldn’t swallow their anger, when the opponent’s individual strength was indeed undeniable?
They would like to go up themselves, fervently wishing to stand up for their goddesses, but they simply didn’t have the guts.
If they dared, they would probably be burned to ashes by him, scattered to the winds.
"Boring, truly boring."
"The big Tianshui Academy doesn’t even have anyone who can fight."
"Not even one who dares to battle."
"So disappointing."
Huowushuang whispered disdainfully.
At a distance, the tall and fiery red-haired girl with beautiful eyes also displayed a look of arrogance, like a proud peacock, while her other teammates also glanced over with contempt.
Shui Bing’er’s blue eyes revealed a fierce determination, unwilling to care about much else any longer.
Just as she was about to step up to the stage,
a sowhat lazy, magnetic voice rang out.
"You know, for such a big guy,"
"You’re just winning against a few girls."
"A bit of grace wouldn’t hurt."
"How co you’re feeling so superior? Have you no sha?"
The seven striking beauties of Tianshui Academy were stunned, the Blazing Fire Battle Team’s Huo Wu and the rest were stunned, and even the densely packed crowd of n were stunned.
"Shh, shh, shh!!"
A multitude of gazes followed the source of the voice, focusing in one direction.
There, in a wheelchair, sat a peerlessly handso young man.
Yawning.
His lazy gaze casually flicked over the stage.
Huowushuang was first taken aback; he had never expected soone to dare mock him.
"What are you looking at? I’m talking about you," he shot back.
"It’s one thing to show off, but don’t engage in group mockery."
"It was you who said that Tianshui Academy doesn’t have a single capable fighter, right?"
"How about—"
"We have a little match?"
Luo Yu’s lips curled into a charming arc, teasingly watching Huowushuang.
