After attending a few days of classes properly and spending so quality ti with his two prospective girlfriends, Li Chang’an was summoned by Bibi Dong to the Pope’s Palace—directly to her private chambers, no less.

The mont he stepped in, Bibi Dong imdiately activated a soundproof barrier around the room. She gestured for Li Chang’an to sit on the chair opposite her, her gaze solemn and intense.

"Chang’an, tell honestly," she asked suddenly, "if your strength were to be sealed, how much power could you still exert?"

Li Chang’an blinked in surprise at the strange question, then composed himself and answered calmly, "If I’m not allowed to use soul skills, I can exert about forty percent of my strength. If both my soul power and soul skills are restricted, then probably around twenty percent at best."

This wasn’t arrogance on Li Chang’an’s part—in fact, he was being quite modest. His physical body had been strengthening over ti, and with his Twin Martial Spirits, even without soul power, he could still wield the Pangu Axe to considerable effect.

"Really?" Bibi Dong raised her eyebrows, her voice tinged with excitent.

"How would I dare lie to my teacher? Every word I speak is true," Li Chang’an answered seriously.

Bibi Dong took a deep breath and then continued, "What I’m about to tell you may sound incredible, but no matter what, I need you to keep it a secret."

Li Chang’an nodded obediently. He sat upright, perfectly embodying the image of a loyal and thoughtful student.

"Three years ago, I accidentally discovered a massive tomb belonging to a fallen god. To be precise, it wasn’t a tomb, but rather a divine tower. If one passes its trials, they can obtain the god’s inheritance and beco a God at level 100!"

"That god’s na is the Rakshasa God. I’ve spent the past three years giving it my all, and I’ve only just broken through to the second floor—but I’ve gained quite a few benefits along the way."

"These trials aren’t limited by the number of participants. Anyone who enters the tower and gains the god’s recognition can begin the assessnt and receive rewards."

At this point, Bibi Dong fixed her gaze on Li Chang’an. "The first three levels of the tower suppress both soul power and soul skills. I want you to accompany through them."

"Of course, there are benefits for you too. Every floor you clear cos with its own rewards, and those will all be yours. Think of it as owing you a personal favor. But if you think it’s too dangerous, you don’t have to go."

Li Chang’an imdiately understood—so she had already found the Rakshasa God’s inheritance, but had only just begun undergoing the trials. From the sound of it, she’d hit a snag and needed help.

Not to ntion anything else—for those long, shapely legs and her luscious, red lips alone, he felt he should help her out. Besides, he was a student who adored his teacher.

More importantly, based on what he knew, Bibi Dong’s personality and ntal state would later be heavily influenced by the Rakshasa God. This was a rare opportunity—if he could find a way to mitigate or even eliminate that negative influence, it would be a huge win.

"Teacher, please take back that favor. It’s only right for your student to help you!" Li Chang’an responded respectfully.

"Good." Bibi Dong looked at him deeply, saying nothing more—but her eyes said plenty.

"Teacher, may I trouble you to have soone inform my household? I can accompany you right away," Li Chang’an said. He wasn’t usually soone who left on a whim, but thanks to the Nullspace wristband, he really could leave at a mont’s notice.

After a mont of consideration, Bibi Dong nodded in agreent. The sooner the trials were completed, the better.

With everything arranged, Bibi Dong brought Li Chang’an to the tower atop the Pope’s Palace. Today, she wore a striking red combat outfit that made her look especially capable and sharp.

"Give your hand," Bibi Dong said casually, extending her slender fingers toward Li Chang’an.

"Sure thing!" Li Chang’an grinned and slid his hand into hers without hesitation.

"This place is a bit far. I’ll fly us there. Don’t use your soul power—I’ll protect you directly," Bibi Dong said, her voice both cool and gentle.

Li Chang’an nodded, indicating he understood.

The next instant, the world around him seed to flip upside down. Countless landscapes shrank rapidly in his field of vision as clouds stread past them at incredible speed.

And yet, despite the velocity, Li Chang’an didn’t feel any discomfort or air pressure—it was incredibly smooth.

If Ghost Douluo flying him before was like riding with an experienced driver, then Bibi Dong’s current speed and technique were akin to riding a rocket.

As his thoughts wandered, Li Chang’an suddenly noticed that the scenery below had turned a grayish-yellow. They were now flying over a desert.

Bibi Dong continued flying for a while longer before descending over an oasis nestled in the sands.

"Stand over there and wait a mont," she instructed, setting Li Chang’an down gently before walking toward the water.

After a brief incantation and the activation of a formation, the surface of the oasis began to shimr—and a reflection appeared. It was a tower.

The tower wasn’t particularly ornate, but it was tall, and certain sections were painted red, lending it an eerie and uncanny aura.

"This is the location of the Divine Tower—hidden within the oasis," Bibi Dong said. "Co, let’s go in."

She took Li Chang’an’s hand again, and the two transford into a streak of light that shot toward the center of the lake.

As they entered, Li Chang’an felt no pressure from the surrounding water. Instead, there was a strong pulling sensation, like being sucked through space. A flash of white and then violet light surged before him—and suddenly, a dense purple mist materialized.

"Do you wish to undergo the Rakshasa God’s trial?" a voice asked from within the mist.

Li Chang’an nodded. "I do."

"Analyzing subject’s physique..."

The mist, which had been nacing and potent a mont ago, suddenly flickered weakly. Then, a trembling voice erged from within:

"Y-You... what God are you? Why is there sothing within you that makes tremble?!"

This violet mist, a remnant of the Rakshasa God’s power, had sensed sothing inside Li Chang’an—sothing that utterly overwheld it. it was terrified.
