Whew—
After over a month of writing, this book is finally going VIP! Just got the editor’s notice—official release starts tomorrow.
As a newbie, I started this on a whim. I cranked out 10,000 words without really knowing what I was doing and just threw it online. It wasn’t until hitting 37,000 words that an editor finally fished out of the slush pile.
Honestly? I’m excited, but also a little regretful.
This being my first book, a lot of the pacing, emotional beats, and details feel rough around the edges. Rereading my own work, I keep cringing at certain sections thinking, "Wow, this could’ve been handled so much better."
The romance subplots, the balance between the MC’s emotional growth and his martial arts research—it’s all been a learning process. And yeah, so missteps were unavoidable given my current skill level. So, dear readers, please bear with .
For a long while, the readership stats have been a rollercoaster, and my heart’s been right there with them. Whenever I check the analytics dip after a Chapter, I’d think: "Yep. That one was a stinker." But hey, room to improve, right?
Also, work’s been hectic lately, so updates often get pushed to late nights. This VIP announcent caught off-guard, so I might not be able to drop explosive Chapter bombs right away. But 6k daily is guaranteed, and if I fall short of 10k in three days, I’ll make up for it later.
Give a few days to get into the groove—daily 10k-word updates will happen. (Gotta chase those shiny achievent badges, after all.) So please—bludgeon with your VIP subscriptions! Smash those numbers like I wish I could smash my soul-crushing boss’s face!
I’ll hold off on announcing the bonus Chapter rules for now. Once I’m consistently hitting 10k/day, we’ll talk.
