TL: GoldenLung
This was blatant favoritism.
Yet, faced with that towering Dragon Force pillar, although so of the god-level powerhouses showed faintly displeased expressions, not a single one voiced any objection.
Seeing the look of surprise on Lan Xuanyu’s face, Huang Daoqi’s smile grew even broader.
The Golden Dragon Princess already held considerable influence among the younger generation of the dragon clan—but to god-level experts, that alone ant little.
However, the mont a Dragon Knight personally stepped forward to support “her,” everything changed.
Luo Lan was ranked seventh among the Dragon Knights—a top-tier existence even among these supre beings. Though he was supported by the Huang Family, he did not truly belong to them.
There was no way the Huang Family of Fenglong City could have invited him to back a junior. The only explanation was that he personally valued this junior highly.
And that was enough to make the city lords of Celestial Dragon Planet, as well as the upper echelons of all major clans, take Lan Xuanyu seriously.
Lan Xuanyu bowed deeply toward Luo Lan.
“Luo Lan, I didn’t expect you to show up.”
At that mont, a sowhat hoarse voice rang out.
In the next instant, another figure stepped out from the silver light gate—clad in milky-white dragon armor.
The mont he appeared, the entire Rising Dragon Platform seed to brighten. Auspicious radiance spread in all directions. All the Dragon Forcehouses present rose to their feet once more and respectfully bowed toward him.
With a casual wave of his hand, he walked to Luo Lan’s pillar.
A milky-white pillar of light rose beneath him, lifting him upward.
The pillar expanded continuously, even pressing against Luo Lan’s green pillar. Light shimred as the two forces collided—yet strangely, no dragon energy leaked outward.
Luo Lan remained seated cross-legged atop his pillar, completely unfazed, as though long accustod to such scenes.
Soon, the white pillar rose to nearly the sa height as Luo Lan’s. Unable to suppress Luo Lan’s pillar, it shifted slightly to the side, standing parallel to the green one.
The man appeared to be in his thirties, with narrow eyes and a hooked nose. His long golden hair flowed behind him. Realizing he couldn’t overpower Luo Lan, his expression darkened slightly. With a cold snort, he sat down atop his pillar.
At that mont, the dragon energy across the platform surged once again—but this ti, Luo Lan did not guide it toward Lan Xuanyu.
Instead, the abundant dragon energy spread evenly across the platform.
The younger dragon elites all closed their eyes, doing their best to absorb it. This was imnsely beneficial for their cultivation—and would greatly aid them in the upcoming battles.
Bai Xiuxiu also closed her eyes, absorbing the energy. Dark blue scales faintly appeared on her skin, releasing a gentle icy mist.
Lan Xuanyu nudged Huang Yuanlang beside him, snapping him out of his cultivation state.
Huang Yuanlang opened his eyes, slightly startled to see Lan Xuanyu looking at him.
Lan Xuanyu subtly gestured toward the massive white pillar and asked in a low voice, “Who is that?”
Huang Yuanlang transmitted his voice, “That’s the Holy Light Dragon Knight, Huang Liangwei. Ranked tenth. He’s from Bright Dragon City.”
Lan Xuanyu asked, “From Zhang Liang Rui Xiao’s family?”
Huang Yuanlang nodded. “Yes, their family’s guardian Dragon Knight. Huang Liangwei originally ca from a collateral branch and wasn’t particularly remarkable. But for so reason, he was chosen by a Higher Dragon clan mber as a successor. Later, he inherited that Dragon Knight’s position. After his predecessor fell, he beca the Holy Light Dragon Knight. He’s extrely powerful—and his relationship with Lord Luo Lan isn’t very good.”
Lan Xuanyu gave a slight nod, though inwardly, waves surged through his heart.
From the height of that pillar alone, it was clear—this Holy Light Dragon Knight was also a super god-level existence.
Which ant that at least the top eleven Dragon Knights were all super god-level beings.
That number was terrifying.
In the entire Douluo Federation, there was currently only Uncle Le who had reached that level.
And these Dragon Knights not only possessed imnse personal strength—they also had their mount dragons.
What kind of overwhelming power was that?
At that mont, the silver light gate slowly closed. No more god-level powerhouses appeared—the spectators for today had all arrived.
“Yes, Bright Dragon City has another Dragon Knight as well, though ranked lower. Among all major cities, it’s probably around fourth place,” Huang Yuanlang said sowhat helplessly.
Although Luo Lan ranked highly among Dragon Knights, he was rely supported by the Huang Family and did not truly belong to them. His support had limits.
Otherwise, the Huang Family wouldn’t be looked down upon by others.
This was precisely why they were willing to pay such a high price—offering dragon marrow and dragon crystals—to secure a thousand-year contract with Lan Xuanyu.
They desperately wanted a Dragon Knight of their own.
“Let’s begin,” Luo Lan said calmly.
Among all present, he held the highest authority. Even the Holy Light Dragon Knight, despite their strained relationship, would not challenge him here.
The ranking of Dragon Knights represented both strength and status.
Unless Huang Liangwei could defeat Luo Lan and surpass him in rank, Luo Lan’s authority remained absolute.
“Yes, Lord Luo,” a god-level powerhouse standing atop a three-ter pillar responded. His pillar dissipated as he stepped forward.
Raising both hands, he made a lifting gesture.
Imdiately, massive light screens rose into the air, dividing the arena into separate battle zones.
Compared to the elimination rounds, the arena was now far larger.
Aside from the area occupied by the god-level spectators, the remaining space was divided into ten battle zones—one for each group—allowing ten matches to take place simultaneously.
Each group would hold five matches per day over nine days, ensuring that every participant fought all nine opponents in their group.
Lan Xuanyu and Bai Xiuxiu were in Group Three.
“All contestants, gather at your respective zones. Enter when your na is called,” the god-level official announced.
Lan Xuanyu and Bai Xiuxiu walked side by side toward the third battle zone. Others approached as well—clearly the opponents they would face in the coming days.
“Zone One, Match One: Tong Yuefeng vs. Ao Hao.
Zone Two, Match One: Xue Han vs. Jiang Chen.
Zone Three, Match One: Lan vs. Lin Zexuan…”
Lan Xuanyu’s eyes flickered slightly.
He was the first to fight in Zone Three.
At that mont, he sensed a gaze falling upon him from above.
Turning his head, he saw a dragon.
About twenty ters long, it was likely the smallest among the dragon-form contestants in the round robin.
Its body was covered in grayish-green scales. Compared to the other dragon-form participants nearby, there was nothing particularly remarkable about it…
