TL: GoldenLung
The contestants who had advanced to the round-robin stage gradually ascended the Rising Dragon Platform. At that mont, a sudden fluctuation of energy rippled from one side of the platform.
Lan Xuanyu’s eyes snapped open instantly as he turned toward the source. A silver light gate slowly unfolded before them—thirty ters tall and twenty ters wide.
One figure after another stepped out from the gate, each radiating a powerful aura. With every arrival, the atmosphere on the Rising Dragon Platform subtly shifted. Most of these figures were unfamiliar to Lan Xuanyu. Their re presence caused the air on that side of the platform to warp and distort.
Without exception, every individual erging from the gate was a god-level powerhouse.
Huang Yuanlang had ntioned that Huang Daoqi would co to watch once the round-robin began. Clearly, most of the upper echelons of the dragon clan had gathered here as well.
After all, the Rising Dragon Competition was a grand event for the entire dragon race—how could they possibly miss it?
The earlier elimination rounds were filled with Lower Dragons, which held little interest for them. But those who had reached the round-robin stage were undoubtedly elites—the future of the dragon clan. Nearly all of them were descendants or mbers of these top-tier powerhouses’ families.
Through the tournant, outstanding talents would be selected and nurtured—sothing every major clan was keen to do.
At the sa ti, these elites were here to oversee the matches for their clans, ensuring fairness.
After stepping through the gate, the powerhouses did not head toward the center of the platform. Instead, beams of Dragon Force shot up beneath their feet, lifting them slowly into the air. Sitting cross-legged atop the pillars, they released their Dragon Force outward, maintaining its form.
It was a clear display of strength.
Lan Xuanyu quickly noticed that each Dragon Force pillar was different—not only in color, but also in thickness and height. The viewing would last for quite so ti, and these powerhouses would not casually adjust their pillars. Whatever amount of Dragon Force they released at the start, they would have to sustain it throughout.
Naturally, the stronger the dragon, the higher the pillar.
It was obvious that even among these elites, there was an unspoken comparison.
Soon, Lan Xuanyu discovered another function of the pillars. As they lifted the powerhouses upward, dragon energy began to diffuse across the platform, spreading and enveloping its surface. The concentration of dragon energy grew richer and richer.
This was dragon energy released by god-level beings—an imnse benefit to the younger generation.
Clearly, their presence was not just for observation, but also to provide advantages to the contestants.
Training talents while hosting a competition—the Rising Dragon Competition was indeed fascinating.
The more outstanding a participant, the longer they would remain in the competition—and the more benefits they would receive.
Lan Xuanyu couldn’t help but think that this was sothing worth learning from. If the academy could organize competitions in a similar way, it would greatly benefit the students.
However, Douluo Star and Celestial Dragon Planet were fundantally different. The latter was incredibly rich in resources, with boundless life energy—practically inexhaustible.
Soon, Lan Xuanyu spotted Huang Daoqi. After stepping through the gate, Huang Daoqi glanced in their direction and gave him a slight nod with a smile.
A yellow pillar rose beneath him, lifting him into the air. It stopped at about three ters high, with a diater of roughly one ter—just enough for him to sit cross-legged.
At this height, his pillar was among the most unremarkable.
The largest pillar present had a diater exceeding three ters and soared over fifteen ters high. Even from afar, one could feel the intense fluctuations of Dragon Force.
These pillars ford a magnificent spectacle across the Rising Dragon Platform. Each one represented a god-level powerhouse—a symbol of imnse strength.
Soon, more than thirty pillars stood tall.
The higher the pillar, the stronger the dragon—and the higher their status.
This thod of spectating not only infused the younger generation with dragon energy but also allowed these powerhouses to showcase their strength. Many of them hadn’t seen each other in ten years, and their progress was now clearly visible through the height of their pillars.
Of course, so might conceal their true strength—but such cases were rare. Strength ant status and benefits; there was usually no reason to hide it.
Through observation, Lan Xuanyu noticed that pillars like Huang Daoqi’s—around three ters—numbered seven or eight and belonged to the lowest tier. Pillars reaching five or six ters were fairly common.
There were seven pillars exceeding ten ters.
Ten ters seed to be a dividing line—those beyond it were noticeably thicker. The ones seated atop them were likely True God-level beings, equivalent to human soul masters above level 110.
And still, more powerhouses continued to erge from the gate.
At that mont, Lan Xuanyu spotted a familiar figure—Luo Lan, clad in dark green armor, slowly stepping out.
The instant he appeared, all the seated Dragon Forcehouses rose to their feet and bowed slightly in his direction.
Luo Lan nodded in acknowledgnt before walking straight toward the center of the pillars.
A burst of green light erupted beneath him. The next mont, an enormous pillar shot upward, lifting his body high into the sky. Its diater exceeded ten ters, and in an instant, the dragon energy across the entire platform surged violently.
The energy condensed into the forms of countless small dragons, baring their fangs and claws as they flickered in and out of existence. Faint dragon roars echoed all around.
Luo Lan’s pillar continued rising—fifty ters… then higher—until it finally stopped. Towering above all others, it gave him a commanding view over everything below.
A Dragon Knight.
This was the true power of a Dragon Knight!
At that mont, Lan Xuanyu felt a sudden shift.
He could clearly sense that the dragon energy across the platform began converging toward him—then pouring into his body.
Golden light burst forth from him as dragon energy surged wildly. Golden scales began to appear faintly across his skin.
The imnse dragon energy flowed into him without resistance, condensing on its own into droplets of transparent liquid. Soon, it gathered into a small lake within his dantian.
Even Lan Xuanyu was stunned by the sheer magnitude of it.
He instinctively looked up at Luo Lan.
A faint smile appeared on Luo Lan’s lips as he nodded at him.
There was no doubt—this was a gift from the Mokong Dragon Knight.
The energy was too vast to absorb all at once, but now that it had condensed into liquid form, he could refine it slowly.
Compared to cultivating in the Dragon Force Hall, this was on an entirely different level.
And this dragon energy didn’t belong to Luo Lan alone—it ca from more than thirty god-level powerhouses. Luo Lan had gathered it, compressed it, and gifted it to him.
