I was headed to my chambers, but before passing Maria’s room, I twisted the doorknob, just to check if she was there.
I didn’t have anything special to tell her, but she had beco an obsession, and thoughts of her always settled in my head. The door was open and I heard the sound of water sploshing gently.
I followed it to the bathroom, and t the most ethereal sight ever. My mate, Maria, the woman who had made see aning to my pathetic life was subrged in the water.

Afterwards, I scooped her into my arms and carried her to the bed. I sat on the bed with her seated on my lap.
