The six monsters of the Jing family, to these Evil Fallen who had been active since seven hundred years ago, are supre entities.

Although they do not pledge loyalty to Lord Jing Wu and are completely unafraid of the prestige of Black Gold Island, the judge is still very respectful towards Jing Wu.

That is an existence beyond the reach of the Evil Fallen, countless numbers of which, no matter how they devour and evolve, can scarcely hold a candle to.

The judge does not believe that Jing Wu would truly lose to humans, he is more inclined to believe that it was a coincidence under various accidents.

The rchant said,

"These are just a few unruly livestock that occasionally break out of their pens. To us, they do not even qualify as a nuisance, and your help is gratuitous. You are not worthy to be our allies, ho ho ho ho ho."

"As the master of Black Gold Island, you have already failed more than once. We, too, have been thwarted by a certain annoying individual several tis. After returning to Huangquan Island, I discovered that another has already found the person ntioned in the prophecy."

The blacksmith puzzled:

"The person ntioned in the prophecy?"

"I am of Semi-Evil Fallen nature, and I too have suffered from fusion sickness due to reception of great power, which caused to split the weaker part of my psyche. You may refer to it as the Tomb Guardian. And the Tomb Guardian has t that noble personage who commands the power of causality."

The rchant and the blacksmith were taken aback. A scent of death and annihilation spread out from the judge’s body, the gravity it displayed letting both know it was not lying.

Jing Liu.

That woman who road the world, before the cooperation with Jing Wu comnced, the rchant and the blacksmith had only heard of her, yet did not know what she looked like.

They had seen Jing Liu when, decades ago, she appeared in the casino.

The rchant couldn’t fathom how Jing Liu managed to win all the gambling gas at the ti.

Not until later did Bai Wu replicate a certain operation, and while bringing up the past with Jing Wu, he heard a remark from Jing Wu that shocked him profoundly:

"That’s my cunning sister. Her stance does not align with ours; she stands on the side of humans, but in reality, I know she has her own agenda."

This statent was like a bolt from the blue, regardless of stances, Jing Liu was seen by the rchant and the blacksmith as a being to be revered.

"You are causing unnecessary panic."

"The Traveler has died, and the wandering spirits of Shudu Prison have shown the new Traveler."

"You should know to whom the forr Traveler pledged loyalty. Among the six supre beings, one is the guardian by the Well - a place that harbors power enough to destroy the world, the source of all that is twisted," the judge said.

The rchant had heard of this as well. Jing Wu once said that sowhere in the world, there lies a Well that is the source of distortion.

In that place lies the power to mutate the environnt, alter the rules, and transform both the living and the dead.

Guarding that Well is one of Jing Wu’s elder brothers. The Traveler was, in fact, loyal to the Guardian.

The judge knew the rchant and the blacksmith were puzzled and continued to persuade:

"Lord Jing Liu, who wields the power of causality, had once left a prophecy that there would co a day when humans break through nurous regions and find the Well. This prophecy may be false, yet thus far, her words have nearly all co to pass."

"Hence, the Guardian of the Well dispatched Travelers during the ti the Well opened, during the few days when the regional restrictions vanish, to start searching for powerful Evil Fallen to guard the periphery and the edge regions. I believe you should be aware of this, considering the number of forces that accepted the invitation at the ti include so of your business partners."

Looking at the thoughtful blacksmith and the rchant with a face of astonishnt, the judge coldly stated:

"Even the two supre beings with the highest powers harbor deep fears of humanity. What right do you have to look down upon humans? The part of that split due to the fusion disease, the Tomb Guardian, once t Lord Jing Liu. She too ntioned that soone capable of changing the world would co to Huangquan Island. And not long ago, Huangquan Island saw the arrival of a newcor."

The blacksmith’s tone carried a hint of shock and suspicion, "Could it be that person is..."

The judge said:

"That person is indeed our common enemy, a man from High Tower who appears insignificant but is actually extrely troubleso. After I devoured my Split Body, I acquired so mories... That person has actually co into contact with a few of the supre beings."

"Furthermore... he possesses a certain ability to see through the power of causality. The death ga on Huangquan Island, to him, seems as if he had already foresaw the outco. Let’s ponder... perhaps Lord Jing Liu had helped him. Do you think an ordinary human is truly worthy of Lord Jing Liu’s assistance?"

The octopus recalled several baffling incidents.

Certainly, the defeat last ti was not at the hands of a human but by that detestable Zero.

But within their intelligence network, Zero had already been weak and decrepit.

And those few feeble humans, although they had no strength to resist the forces of Black Gold Island, still displayed a certain potential.

And according to what Lord Jing Wu said, Zero was indeed frail. Yet, the Lao virus that had persisted for seven hundred years was suddenly cured because of a human.

With that in mind, coupled with the judge’s introduction of "the person of prophecy," it instilled in the octopus an extra sense of crisis.

In seven hundred years, who knows if a hero might have erged in High Tower... It’s hard to say indeed.

"Aren’t you afraid we might try sothing during this cooperation? You trust us that much?"

"Huangquan Island naturally has its ans of evacuation. As I said, you can’t hold here. In this hunt, Huangquan Island will provide several elite combatants. I have only brought two friends with this ti."

The judge’s gaze was piercing as he continued:

"I have adequate counterasures, but I still hope that in this collaboration, we can be as sincere as possible with each other."

"The supre beings’ stances are not unified, and Lord Jing Liu, it is said, has taken the side of humans. If there truly exists soone in this world prophesied to change the fate of High Tower’s people, we should find a way to nip it in the bud."

"The current shelter is not that large, just a small combination of adjacent areas in the city. But if we allow humans to continuously expand their territory, I’m sure you understand the consequences."

The blacksmith also realized the severity of the issue:

"Baichuan City has gone through a seven-day catastrophe. That place is full of twisted rules, and Lord Jing Wu said, the more twisted the rules are that nurture these puzzle pieces, the more powerful they beco."

The judge was a little puzzled:

"If that’s the case, why not take over Baichuan City instead of this island?"

The blacksmith did offer so response:

"The Doomsday Fragnts, we Evil Fallen can only possess one, and we may not be able to utilize its real powers. Especially without specific rules to aid us, once we obtain a fragnt, we beco guardians of a particular area and cannot leave there.

Even we have rules that we must adhere to, and when collecting Doomsday Fragnts, an Evil Fallen must be arranged as the corresponding vessel."

What the blacksmith didn’t say was that only the special rules of Black Gold Island could create these vessels.

Or more accurately... they serve as containers for the Doomsday Puzzle pieces.

Black Gold Island has collected quite a few Doomsday Puzzle pieces, but whether it’s the blacksmith, the rchant, or these containers of Black Gold Island, even Jing Wu, can only use one.

They cannot utilize the power of multiple Doomsday Puzzle pieces. That is a "privilege" only humans have.

What they could do was to endlessly collect the fragnts to prevent humans from finding them.

In a sense, for humans, Black Gold Island indeed contained vast treasures. Two Legendary Tier Entries were here, breaking down nurous powers.

As a trading center for the Evil Fallen outside the Tower, there were also many treasures here, including the Spirit Possession items of the blacksmith.

Beyond that, there was an item crucial for humans to change the world—the Doomsday Puzzle Fragnts.

One could say that if Black Gold Island were to be taken by humans... perhaps the relationship between humans and the Evil Fallen, that is, the relationship between prey and hunter, would be inverted.

"There’s no need for outsiders to know the other reasons, Judge, we can accept your request for help." The blacksmith was much more steady than the rchant.

The fact that destruction died at the hands of a human dwarf was sothing it dwelt upon. From that ti, it felt that perhaps the Evil Fallen underestimated humans too much.

The Judge was not at all surprised by the other party’s response.

"In that case, I think we can discuss the details. How many elite forces everyone has under their command, and even how much—cannon fodder is available, and how we should attack that twisted city, all this needs to be carefully considered."

...

...

Outside the Tower, in Baichuan City, Supernatural Tale Apartnt.

Waiting for Supernatural Tale to find oneself was extrely boring, especially after becoming mute, there was no way to communicate with Yan Jiu.

The laughter outside grew more exaggerated, and Bai Wu confird that this laughter was terrifying enough to cause the downfall of the entire Baichuan City, and perhaps not only Baichuan City.

"Yan Jiu will most likely fail to deal with it; in the end, it will probably be up to Lin Rui to forcefully take care of the opponent... What a pity, if I were there, it would have been great. Such a promising ability... Although it’s not the instant hypnosis control like the Siren’s Song, it excels in its ability to spread. If it could be harnessed for my use..."

The distant Lin Rui’s original plan was to find the source of the laughter and imdiately kill them.

Lin Rui indeed still retained a sliver of self-consciousness... at this point, he could not control his laughter; he could only maintain as much autonomy as possible.

The circus tent was not far ahead, and Lin Rui was confident he could kill them.

As long as he locked onto the target...

Bai Wu was aware of Lin Rui’s plan, hence the feeling of regret. If it had been him taking action, he was confident he could have turned the master of laughter to his side.

The likelihood with Yan Jiu was nearly nonexistent.

Bai Wu originally hesitated to express himself, even fearful that so of his sounds might be twisted into the opposite aning, so he put the conch back in his backpack for a while.

But now, out of boredom, Bai Wu took out the conch.

However, the scene that appeared through the conch... because it was so different from what he had anticipated, it sowhat confused him.

A group of chanical beasts, clearly quadrupeds, yet they had learned to sit in the audience seats outside the circus tent just like humans.

They were emitting all sorts of bizarre engine roaring sounds. These creatures were the animals from the Baichuan Zoo.

"Laughter that can bewitch chanical beasts... Magic has truly defeated technology..." Bai Wu comnted inwardly with sarcasm.

But there was sothing else he wanted to critique even more—

Yan Jiu was chatting with the circus ringmaster, the owner of the laughter.

It was a Clown, holding four balloons shaped into creepy human heads in his hand.

As if a family of five. With dad and mom, a brother, and a sister. Every balloon had a smiling face on it.

All mbers of the circus were deford individuals, but the Clown appeared relatively normal; from a distance, he almost looked like an ordinary person.

But even from the conch’s provided scene, Bai Wu noticed sothing odd—

The Clown’s mouth... had an exceptionally wide arc.

Unlike the famous criminal mastermind Zhou Ke’er, the mouth corners weren’t forcibly cut open with a knife; it was a kind of deford growth.

Many strange ridians erged around the corner of its mouth, not obvious, but both Bai Wu and Yan Jiu did notice them.

This was probably so kind of disease, causing its mouth to keep increasing in size and changing in curvature.

Before the apocalypse descended, this kind of mutation had already appeared and was not a result of Evil Fallen Transformation brought on by twisted rules; it was a physiological mutation.

Yan Jiu was exchanging with the Clown, and this interaction was incredible to Bai Wu.

"I looked away from the conch for just a mont... how did the two of them start a conversation?"

In Bai Wu’s view, he would need to spend quite so effort to enter this "open-hearted" phase.

Like in the case of approaching Hong Yin, although not much was said, it was also a result of diligently searching for many materials and undergoing the spiritual power test in Hong Yin’s file before being able to open Hong Yin’s heart.

But what was outrageous was that Yan Jiu, who looked completely naïve, managed to enter this phase in no ti.

This left Bai Wu suddenly at a loss for words, unrelated to the negative attribute of being mute. He suddenly didn’t know how to express himself, especially since Yan Jiu did not use the various sches he had ntioned.

This felt odd, almost like the apprentice had surpassed the master?

"Is Yan Jiu soone who finds it hard to even make friends? She seems to possess a natural affinity with these monsters who are sohow ntally incomplete?"

It was not a coincidence; now Bai Wu was truly speculating whether this girl genuinely had such an ability.

She wasn’t pretending at all; it was a completely honest and heartfelt communication with the Clown.

A world where you can turn hostility into friendship with kindness exists only in the light novels of the previous world’s island country. Bai Wu preferred to believe... perhaps as a descendant of the Evil Fallen, Yan Jiu might have so kind of ability.

Yan Zhao was a scumbag, very skilled at enchanting the hearts of people. A person obtaining a certain Sequence, or mastering a certain Entry after Evil Fallen Transformation, is related to inner obsessions.

Yan Zhao’s acquisition of The Integrator might be because he inherently had this talent.

But perhaps Yan Jiu also possessed this potential, only that with her kind-hearted and sincere nature, she was completely unaware of this.

And this trait, when applied to the Evil Fallen or those with broken souls... stood out even more prominently.

Under the sincerity of Yan Jiu, the Clown started to share parts of its past experiences.

Bai Wu found himself being proven wrong.

(More to co tonight, and by the way, I would like to thank the operations officer, Miss Sister, for having received the First Prize for Outstanding Operations Officer, hard work pays off.)
