Michela stood nearby, her eyes full of stirrings.

In her eyes, the estrangent and displeasure between them had long since disappeared. What replaced it was a deep acknowledgent and surprise.

In the flash of the caras and the gentle afterglow of the street lights, their gazes intertwined in the rainy world.

The light seed to exist specifically for this mont, outlining their silhouettes both profoundly and gently.

On their faces were the traces of childhood innocence and so form of resolution that ca with maturity.

The passage of ti ceased to matter in that instant. They seed to have returned to that carefree era, that old place where they had run and played countless tis in their youth.

"..."

The cat boss in Lanci’s shadow was too afraid to co out.

After figuring out the truth, it was the one that had been scared out of its wits.

Moreover, it felt that this young aristocratic girl seed to have a wrong impression, and had concocted a series of plotlines that didn’t belong to the two of them.

"I need to leave now."

Lanci didn’t stay in the gradually falling rain for long, his gaze conveyed his intentions to the security personnel.

The guards quickly cleared a path through the crowd with their adept coordination, providing Lanci a convenient route to leave.

The light refracted in the raindrops, becoming soft and hazy. The surrounding crowd, under the guidance of the security personnel, slowly backed away. Despite their incessant calls for Rocky McCarthy, they showed full respects upon his departure.

"I’ll take you ho."

Lanci said.

Hyperion followed behind him, nodding his head.

Under the escort of the security staff holding umbrellas, Lanci and the two ladies of the Milford family strolled to the roadside. Their steps were calm and steady in the rain, and they quickly arrived at the parked Magic Energy Vehicle.

The car door was opened solemnly by the security personnel, and light poured out from inside. They all got into the car, the door gently closed, isolating them from the outside uproar.

Once all the people were cleared from the vicinity, the vehicle slowly started and accelerated away, driving through the veil of rain, disappearing into the night of Herram.

The rain slid down the car window.

Lanci sat in the front row, only seeing the outside view blurred by the streaming rain slowly receding.

In the carriage, the soft seats, warm light, and gentle background music all gave a sense of tranquillity and comfort.

Yet he always felt a strong gaze from behind making him dare not turn around.

Finally.

"What the hell is going on with you?!"

Hyperion got agitated again, disregarding the driver in the front seat and Michela by his side, questioning Lanci.

Despite knowing that he should discuss so things with Lanci when they were alone, she was too shocked when she saw Lanci appear on the giant screen of the square.

She never thought that when she arrived at the Protoss Empire from the Aestheland Kingdom, Lanci had already started discussing running for President!

No matter what, she will have to strictly reprimand Lanci this ti, to make it clear that they only ca to perform research and shouldn’t have caused such a stir on the Northern Continent. What if they can’t leave later or Dean Loren has a heart attack?

The cat boss, hiding in the shadows of Lanci, shivered, not daring to stick its head out. As long as Xiu Bao didn’t notice it, it didn’t plan to co out until Lanci finished answering the questions.

It saw Xiu Bao being a bit irritated for the first ti.

"When I first arrived in the Protoss Empire, I was barely hanging on in the sea, rescued by a kind Southern Lord, and then attacked by the Rebirth Church on the road..."

Lanci turned back, his innocent eyes looked at Xiu Bao, then lowered his gaze, telling his past.

Hyperion didn’t know what to say.

"..."

Looking at Lanci’s pitiful appearance, Hyperion felt her heart softening.

She bit her lip.

She was only grateful to Lady Goddess for allowing him to survive amidst the turbulent magic waves.

After listening to Lanci recounting how he and the cat boss journeyed from the South to the capital Herram, Hyperion didn’t speak.

"..."

She took a deep breath and sighed heavily, calming her emotions and looking at Lanci.

"During this ti, aside from the cat boss, has anyone else led you astray?"

She always felt that Lanci alone couldn’t have turned so reckless.

It’s as if, after so turning point, soone had given him confidence, manipulating him, speeding up like a car thief!

"Not at all."

Lanci thought for a mont and responded.

Sigrid was his close friend, his old-ti buddy. They hung out together without leading each other astray.

"Really?"

Hyperion looked at Lanci sowhat skeptically. She had the feeling that Lanci seed to recall soone.

"Really, no. If you don’t believe , ask the cat boss," Lanci said, causing Hyperion to follow his gaze to the ground.

Instantly his shadow flickered, but still, no cat appeared for a long ti.

"..."

Hyperion pondered for so ti, deciding to keep doubts about this matter.

Anyway, she was going to keep a close eye on Lanci.

She would et whoever Lanci had befriended in the Northern Continent.

She wanted to find out who spoiled Lanci, and would absolutely keep Lanci away from that person in the future!!

"By the way, you need to co with later. I have sothing to tell you."

Lanci thought for a second and said solemnly.

Before he left, he had promised Sigrid that he would return to find her after the interview.

He originally planned to discuss with Sigrid tonight about how to call for reinforcents from the Hegemony Branch and make contact with the Great Demon Clan in the lowest level of Herram Prison.

Now that Hyperion has co, this matter is basically half done.

Hyperion, capable of taking the Great Love Poet into prison, is undoubtedly the best candidate.

At that ti, he can just take possession of the Great Love Poet and follow Hyperion down.

Communicating with the Great Demon Clan in the prison using the face of the Great Love Poet should be much easier.

The useless Princess of the Demon Clan, Talia, her only value now is to hand her identity over to him for him to disguise himself as the real descendant of the Demon Clan Princess.

"No problem, but... why are you looking at like that?"

Hyperion always felt that Lanci seed relieved that she ca.

But clearly, Lanci had already achieved such a position in the empire, she should not be able to help Lanci in any way, instead, it would be her asking for his help.

"One could only say that your timing is just right."

Lanci sighed.

Both Sigrid and Hyperion are too reliable.

Then Lanci looked at Michela standing next to Hyperion.

"Michela, after I send you ho later, I want to talk to your sister."

"Understood, understood. Sister, it’s okay even if you don’t co back tonight."

Michela nodded continuously.

"... You seem to have misunderstood sothing, we all live in the residential area on the north side of the Protoss Royal Academy."

Lanci said helplessly.

The secret base of the Hegemony Branch stationed at the Protoss Royal Academy, where he and Hyperion are headed to, is directly under Gloria’s family and should be not far from the residence of Hyperion and Michela, just a few steps away in reality.

"Speaking of which, why are you also at the Protoss Royal Magic Academy?"

Hyperion no longer planned to explain further to Michela. The more she explained such matters, the ssier they would beco. She probably could only tell Michela the whole story after she finished her mission and returned to the South Continent.

Hyperion only knew that Lanci was now a political figure in the Protoss Empire and didn’t know why he seed to be living in the school.

If Lanci has a part-ti job or a connection at this school, then her troubles would surely lessen considerably.

But the combination of "Lanci" and "school", these two key words, gave her a sowhat bad premonition again.
