The plants on both sides were bathed in morning mist and sunshine, exuding a fragrant scent. There were many flowers along the roadside that Lanci couldn't na, so vibrant, so elegant, so strangely shaped.
Accompanied by the songs of birds, the buzzing of bees, and the babbling of water, they gradually entered a soft grassland filled with flowers from the end of the road. All the buildings in this area were built within the gardens.
"Is this where your student council is? Hyperion ntioned it to ."
Sigrid said curiously.
They walked to the building located at the edge of the Magic Engineering College, with statues and reliefs embedded on its red brick exterior wall, one of the landmarks of the campus—the Old Literature Building of the Magic Engineering College.
She heard from Hyperion that this centuries-old building used to be a workshop where magic artisans gave free rein to their imagination. It was renovated and maintained decades ago, now used to provide technical services to students from other departnts who need help from the Magic Engineering College, also where Hyperion and Lanci often ca.
The first floor is the Public Magic Work Technology Service Center, the second floor is the New Magic Work Technology Creative Workshop owned by Professor Bolao, a leading researcher at the Magic Engineering College, where Lanci and Tata often co. The third floor is the office of the Student Managent Committee.
"Yes, now it's mainly the president and the secretary who work here. The president is very nice and reliable, but the secretary... I always feel she's like a fangirl, every ti I et her, it's like eting a celebrity she admires, and she even cos over with my photo asking to sign it."
Whenever Lanci thinks of everyone in the student council, the only one that stands out is Secretary Lavisseir, who is also the most lively reporter at the Hutton Daily.
Her reports never seem to have any problems, but they feel overly vigorous.
Dean Loren has his current reputation, but she's not entirely clean.
"Oh, if I were in the student council earlier, anyone who dared to provoke Hugh would et their end."
Sigrid also knew well about Hyperion's situation at Ichrite during the ti after Migaya went missing.
"Co on, if you two don't fight over a man, it'll be considered a success, ow."
Cat Boss imagined Sikder with Fifth-order wounds running into Fifth-order Hyperion at Herram, and they almost fought.
If anything went slightly wrong, it would have to consider how to help Teacher Da Lan cook a sofa to make him eat a little better.
"That's what they call fighting leads to acquaintance. I really admired her at that ti!"
Sigrid spoke to the Little Black Cat.
"ow..."
Cat Boss could only think that there would never be sisters again like Sigrid and Hyperion.
They arrived in front of the Old Literature Building but found the door still closed.
There was no trace of students around either, after all, it was already a school break.
"Oh dear, ca too early... forgot that during the winter student holiday, the service center of the Magic Engineering College starts work at ten in the morning and closes at four in the afternoon, neither a minute early nor a second late."
Lanci regretfully said.
"It's alright, I'm used to it. Life's pace at Ichrite is much slower than at Herram."
Sigrid was happy to accompany Lanci and wait, enjoying the leisure.
Many shops in Ichrite close by five, and they won't earn money even when they're off work, not to ntion the school's service departnt.
They exchanged a smile and began chatting on the lawn while waiting for the staff of the Magic Engineering College to start work.
"Actually, it's not bad just to enjoy the scenery too, since we're on holiday anyway..."
Sigrid looked up, admiring this art-like ancient building in front, feeling the floral scent from the garden, the grass scent, the soil breath, and the moist air seemingly surrounded them.
At the top of the Old Literature Building, a tower embedded with Ichrite Academy's emblem stood high.
At the bottom of the silver shield-shaped central emblem, a statue of the Goddess of Fate was painted, holding a laurel crown, surrounded by Cross Holy Radiance.
"Do you feel that the statue of the Goddess of Fate is watching us?"
Sigrid suddenly pointed at the statue of the Goddess of Fate, asking Lanci.
"The first ti we t in the Nirvana Branch's exam, the test question was to carve the statue of the Goddess of Fate."
Lanci also recalled his and Sigrid's genuine first eting.
At that ti, they were strangers in each other's eyes, not paying much attention to one another, and Sigrid was entirely disguised as Sikder.
"I never thought later on we'd hit it off, initially just felt this guy's carving skills were extraordinary, but didn't pay much attention to you, until you reported Examiner Priest Gaius, did I realize you were the talent I was seeking."
Sigrid mused.
"You altered my aspirations, and I could never return to the Nirvana Branch."
Lanci seed to recall many things.
"Oh right, tomorrow's the weekend again, we should clear the weekly quests, you have a performance in the afternoon, so let's make it the morning then."
Sigrid also brought back a few Forget Dust Stars, one of her weekly fixed entertainnt activities is going into the mory Phantasmagoria with Lanci.
Whether at Herram or Brilda, they can always go back to play.
Since both ntioned their first encounter, their playing content can transform into their initial eting.
"Oh dear, tomorrow morning I promised Tata to accompany her to the Gold Bee Amusent Park, there's a new event tomorrow, she wants to get the Animal Forest commorative macaron."
Lanci lightly tapped his palm with his fist, rembering Talia's casual invitation while cooking for him last night.
"Then this won't do, morning you're with Tata, afternoon with Hugh, unless you stay the night with , otherwise it's unfair!"
