Bulida City.

As the sun began to set in the west, the sky was painted in a gorgeous golden hue. The twilight's afterglow illuminated the thin snow on the peak of Ostrero Mountain, cloaking the entire range in a sacred garnt.

"As long as I can escape, as long as I can escape to that place..."

Rashar fled in desperation, fully aware that the national celebration had just ended and the War God would soon return to this Divine Descendant Hall.

As long as those few War Gods returned, they would definitely be able to protect him.

The sunset would soon fall, and once night fell in the Cerryti Empire, he would return to the Ninth-order.

The winter mountain wind brushed through the dense pine forest, rustling. The wind lifted up the withered and fallen leaves on the ground, twirling them in the air and letting them slowly descend, forming a golden carpet. At the end of Ostrero Mountain stood a magnificent ivory-colored structure, towering high into the clouds, entirely constructed of ancient Divine Era Stone bricks, their surfaces casting dazzling golden light like flowing lava.

The miracle stone bricks, impervious to destruction, remained intact after eons of ti, without a single blemish.

Around the Temple, layers of holographic Defense Enchantnts wrapped the entire structure within.

Special patrol troops dressed in pitch-black military coats were vigilantly scanning the corners around them. The sunset cast long shadows on their uniforms, making them appear like a pack of hunters in the dark, always ready to seize their prey.

This is the site of the Cerryti Empire's Imperial Military Staff and Command Headquarters.

On the other side deep within the military building, there exists a vast circular space, known to the residents of Cerryti as the "Divine Descendant Hall."

This is the eting place for the Empire's Twelve War Gods, and one could only visit the War Gods here with their permission. To delve into the core area, one must possess a War God's token, or the War God himself must arrive.

However, at this mont.

Under the guards' and Barrier's very noses, a faint shadow appeared outside the Divine Descendant Hall.

Initially, it was just a blur of a shadow, gradually growing clearer, finally coalescing into the form of a twelve or thirteen-year-old boy.

Rashar, who was Ninth-order, quietly snuck around. The Imperial Army simply couldn't detect his presence, especially since he was incredibly familiar with the defensive facility maps around the Divine Descendant Hall.

At this mont, the form Rashar took had skin as white as snow, with soft, fluffy brown hair glinting with a hint of gold.

A pure black velvet dress wrapped his slender fra, embroidered with gold thread depicting the ancient emblem of the Cerryti Empire—a proudly rearing Griffin from the Roland family crest.

At first glance, he seed no different from any wealthy young man in Bulida City, perhaps only wandering into the sacred Hall's outskirts out of curiosity.

But if one were to look into his eyes, they would realize it was not so.

They were a pair of deep red eyes, akin to unfathomable blood pools, holding wisdom and ti far beyond what his youthful exterior could bear.

The Third Ancestor Duke Rashar appeared here, his aura particularly chaotic, with drooping eyelids as if he had just endured a brutal battle.

He leaned against the Temple wall, avoiding sunlight as if it could scorch his skin.

The golden sunset stread through the lattice window, making his uncovered silhouette look even more fragile.

"Landry... you all must be exhausted too... I want to see how you'll handle a fully-powered War God..."

Rashar gritted his teeth fiercely, his eyes still filled with bloodshot lines.

Even though he escaped at the cost of abandoning Blood Moon City, he lost a lot of Mana and vitality in battle and was exposed to sunlight, desperately needing fresh blood to recover his energy.

He understood he must find a place Landry couldn't breach or catch him before being caught up by Landry, gathering strength to counterattack the exhausted Landry and the others!

Injured, Rashar disregarded his wounds, stealthily traveled all the way to this Divine Descendant Hall, which could be considered their second stronghold for the Blood Clan.

When Rashar reached the peripheral entrance of the Hall, he took out a spare seal engraved with athyst, belonging to Marquis Ryan, marked with the crest of Ninth Army God Marquis Ryan. Rashar pressed the seal into the groove on the door, imdiately causing multiple restrictions to yield and clear the way for this esteed visitor.

In the next second, Rashar's figure vanished from the spot, as if he had never appeared.

The entire process was seamless and silent, without the guards outside the Hall noticing a thing.

Within the Divine Descendant Hall, a peaceful and harmonious lody resounded.

The pure and ethereal sound of the harp floated like a heavenly symphony, echoing throughout the Hall.

At tis it soared, at tis it whispered, like angels singing in the clouds, soothing every soul, amidst which the delicate chi of wind bells mingled, resembling Elves dancing on treetops, bringing a subtle joy.

The flute's sound was lodious and lingering, as if it ca from a distant ti and space, eloquently narrating ancient legends, singing of long-passed mories, various musical instrunts interwoven to form a harmonious tune, sacred and lofty, elegant and lingering, rising in the twilight's afterglow, reaching to the heavens.

The music seed like a celestial chant, yet, it also felt like a celebration of all living beings.

The slanting sunlight passed through the rose windows of the Divine Descendant Hall, falling on the marble floor, transforming into heavenly sparkling diamonds scattered on earth, accentuating the Divine Era murals on the walls.
