"I must—kill you!"

logas scread, her voice hoarse, accompanied by a deranged laugh that seed indifferent to life or death.

"It seems you are also approved by the Inverted Lord as a mber of the Demon Race."

Behind the shattered full-length glass window of the Botanical Garden, Lanci remained motionless.

Because when logas had made her desperate move, the outco of the duel had already been decided.

logas, recklessly ignoring Siegler, clearly had no intention of winning.

Siegler swiftly arrived through the air, flipping logas and the scorpion tail through the air in an instant.

She grabbed logas’s scorpion tail, dragging her toward the ground.

logas’s figure plumted from the sky like a teor, smashing heavily into the ground.

Once more, Siegler pinned logas down on the ground, rendering her immovable.

Starlight sprinkled across the wilderness, casting an eerie yet tranquil scene.

logas lay helplessly on the cliffside, still struggling to keep her proud head raised, looking upwards.

"I must kill you...I must kill...must kill..."

Blood streaked across logas’s face, her eyes bloodshot, her magic power and breath weaker than ever but her obsession unchanged.

"To be honest, I’m sowhat impressed by you."

Sigrid had captured logas.

She had seen many villains, their faces as they neared death.

But in logas, Sigrid felt no fear, as if this demon lacked the emotion of fear altogether, uncaring about the possible punishnts after defeat, driven solely by an unstoppable desire to kill.

This was a demon who lived by the motto "No madness, no survival," capable of big things.

Above Purgatory, the fierce winds howled, sweeping sparks across the debris-strewn ground.

Sigrid awaited Lanci’s instructions on how to handle the Blasphemy Lord.

The once invincible powerful being inevitably faced the fate of defeat.

Finally, Lanci slowly stepped into mid-air from the edge of Purgatory Corridor Academy.

He had been brought down using telekinesis magic by the Cat Boss, casually walking as if rely strolling, arriving in front of logas before stopping.

"Are you mocking ...being so close to this ti, yet I remain helpless?"

logas strained to lift her head, staring intently at the Phantom Demon, her teeth grinding loudly.

"You coward, always ducking and dodging, challenge if you dare, I guarantee I’ll kill you a hundred tis, ten thousand tis!"

The Phantom Demon never personally intervened, rely watching the farce play out serenely like a spectator.

"..."

Lanci seed to turn a deaf ear, still unwilling to give logas the minimal hostility due from an opponent.

Because, after all, a principal is a principal.

"Aren’t you curious who I am?"

Lanci gazed at logas, his tone neutral.

"No matter who you are, I must kill you, hunt you to the ends of the earth!"

Blasphemous Lord logas’s eyes seed ready to bleed.

"..."

Lanci didn’t respond further to logas.

Instead, he simply lifted his right hand, his slender fingers lightly gripping the silver-white mask at his waist, slowly moving it up just enough to cover his cheeks.

"Do you know who I am now?"

he asked logas.

In a flash, logas seed to realize much more.

This incredibly familiar face mask that felt so out of place.

And exactly what kind of creature would be together with Calila, Sigrid, and the Princess...

In an instant, the raging fury in logas was as if doused by a bucket of ice water.

"Holy Polante Pope...?"

Now thinking it over, she had just given her seat to a Ninth-order Pope.

And asked him on an armrest if he was afraid.

It seed quite ridiculous.

The Pope could extinguish her life anyti he wished.

Or perhaps she had been targeting soone impossible to kill from the start.

"Is it fun to toy with ?!"

Blasphemous Lord logas struggled frenetically, almost escaping Sigrid’s grasp.

Even if it cost her life, leaving a scar on the Pope ant her life had aning.

Talia also rushed over, helping Siegler restrain logas.

"Should we kill her?"

Sigrid quickly looked up at Lanci.

She wasn’t sure if killing logas would signify the end of the mission in the Shadow World, or if killing her would have so detrintal effects.

logas’s life force was too strong; killing her would co at a cost.

But, inevitably, it was possible to kill her.

"Let her go."

Lanci said lightly.

The Demon World currently couldn’t do without such a regent.

Moreover, this Shadow World wouldn’t concern them after six days.

From the historical stance of Holy Polante Pope, a capable Demon World regent like logas was essential for maintaining the stability of the continent, with no one else appearing capable enough to replace her as a mber of the Great Demon Clan just yet.

His words fell, plunging the entire canyon into a brief silence.

"...?"

Not only Sigrid, but Talia and Hyperion were also stunned.

And Blasphemous Lord logas, clearly unprepared for such a statent, her deep purple eyes filled with shock and puzzlent.

"I will not allow you to humiliate ! Holy Polante Pope! I don’t want your pity!"

logas surged with renewed strength, lunging towards Lanci.

She was again swiftly pinned to the ground by Siegler, causing a loud crash that made the ground tremble.

"Should we just kill her? Can he really let her go?"

Sigrid suggested.

She was certain, even if they released logas today, once she recovered tomorrow, her first task would be to kill Lanci.
