"Evan Zachary, co back to !"
"Evan Zachary, you bastard! You took advantage of and won’t take responsibility!"
"Evan Zachary..."
Yvonne Donovan scread hysterically, but Evan Zachary never looked back.
Yvonne Donovan was desperate and had no choice but to plead with Richard Donovan.
"Dad, save . I’m so young, I don’t want to go to jail."
But Richard Donovan only glanced at her: "Even a prince is subject to the sa laws as commoners. You’ve made a mistake, and you must take responsibility for your actions."
Realizing Richard Donovan had no intention of saving her, Yvonne Donovan lost control.
"I refuse! Richard Donovan, is it because I’m not your daughter that you’re so heartless to ?"
"I don’t have a daughter who would poison her own grandfather in a bid to fight for the family fortune!"
Richard Donovan turned to the police handling the case: "Don’t worry about , just do what you need to do."
With his consent, the officer imdiately acted faster, placing handcuffs on Yvonne Donovan.
Soon after, several other officers ca down from upstairs.
"We found a vial of unknown liquid and two blood-stained scissors."
Seeing these items, Yvonne Donovan charged forward to knock them over.
Because that was the poison her mother had given her.
If it was discovered, she was definitely going to prison.
But how could her strength compare to that of the officers?
Despite her struggle, Yvonne Donovan was ultimately taken away by the police.
Richard Donovan instructed the other mbers of the Donovan family to disperse the guests, then headed to the hospital with July Quinn to see Old Master Donovan.
When they arrived at the hospital, Old Master Donovan was already out of danger.
The doctor was especially full of praise for July Quinn’s dical skills.
However, Old Master Donovan had already fallen asleep by then.
Upon learning that Old Master Donovan was out of danger, July Quinn prepared to leave.
"July, Grandpa would definitely want to see you. Why don’t you wait until he wakes up to et him?"
"No."
Even if Old Master Donovan saw her, he would only offer apologies.
But those weren’t what July Quinn wanted.
"I’m leaving on a plane at midnight tonight. I have a friend to et before I go."
With her departure imminent, she planned to do a few more things before leaving.
"Then when you co back ho, maybe you can have a good talk with Grandpa?"
"We’ll see."
In truth, July Quinn had no plans of returning.
Because Kyle Keaton was here.
"I’ve gathered the dicine for treating the old man’s leg and left it with the butler. Once the old man is discharged, have him drink it for three days, and he’ll be fine."
"If your grandpa knew you were actually sourcing precious herbs to make dicine for him, he would probably be very happy."
Richard Donovan tried once more to persuade July Quinn to stay and see Old Master Donovan, but July Quinn was firm in her decision to leave.
"Let’s leave these matters for the future. I’m off now..."
Finally, Richard Donovan could only watch as July Quinn’s figure receded into the distance, sighing helplessly.
Half an hour later, July Quinn appeared in front of a private restaurant.
Roman Kidd quickly erged from the restaurant, leading July Quinn inside.
"I thought you’d be too busy to co out today."
Roman Kidd had heard a bit about the events at The Donovan Family engagent banquet.
Concerned about July Quinn’s mood, Roman Kidd specially called and casually asked if she wanted to co out for a al.
To his surprise, July Quinn actually agreed.
This truly surprised Roman Kidd.
"I’m leaving. It’ll be hard to have a al together in the future, so I had to make ti today no matter what."
July Quinn’s words caused a slight shift in Roman Kidd’s expression.
"You’re leaving? To where?"
