Chapter 345: Deal with You Later
Visible shockwaves swept out as holy light exploded, enveloping the surroundings.
Though the attack was powerful, the skeletal armor on the Bone Dragon King absorbed most of the impact.
While many undead creatures were turned to ash, the Bone Dragon King's armor continued to writhe and shift.
The damaged areas were quickly replenished by other undead creatures filling in the gaps.
"It seems penetration attacks are the key!"
With this realization, Li ng waved his hand.
The tendrils of light around him burst into a dazzling brilliance.
Countless light spears quickly condensed in the surrounding space, each at least five ters long.
The mont Li ng waved his hand, hundreds of these light spears shot out.
In an instant, they crossed hundreds of ters and struck the Bone Dragon King.
Each light spear pierced into the skeletal armor and exploded.
With a series of deafening booms, bursts of radiant light erupted from the Bone Dragon King.
The targeted areas of its armor were torn apart layer by layer, and nurous undead creatures disintegrated in the holy light.
"Roar!"
The Bone Dragon King let out a furious roar, its deafening cry shaking the heavens and earth.
More skeletal tendrils lashed out toward Li ng.
Li ng responded with another wave of his hand, sending a barrage of light spears hurtling toward the tendrils.
The light spears struck their marks with precision, exploding on impact.
Before the tendrils could reach Li ng, they were obliterated.
"Strong defense, but its offensive capabilities are lacking."
Squinting his eyes, Li ng observed the towering Bone Dragon King.
As a Calamity Dragon King, the Bone Dragon King couldn’t be limited to such simple attacks.
Suddenly, the Bone Dragon King stirred.
A large hole appeared in the skeletal armor on its head, from which black magic energy flickered.
"This… such powerful magic energy!"
Li ng’s eyes lit up.
The next mont, a piercing shriek cut through the air as a dazzling black beam shot out from the hole, heading straight for Li ng in the sky.
"A magic cannon?"
Li ng exclaid in surprise, recognizing the attack.
Wasn’t this the signature move of a magic cannon tower?
He hadn’t expected the Bone Dragon King to use such an attack.
The tendrils of light behind Li ng flared with radiant brilliance, propelling him to the side in a burst of speed.
The magic cannon narrowly missed him, streaking past and striking a distant hill.
Far away, a brilliant flash of black light lit up the earth.
A massive mushroom cloud of dark magic energy rose slowly into the sky, its shockwave visibly rippling outward.
The land in its path was ripped apart layer by layer, and the hill was completely obliterated in the magical onslaught.
Witnessing the scene, Li ng was inwardly shocked.
This attack was far stronger than the magic cannons of ordinary towers.
As the Bone Dragon King’s head-mounted hole glimred with black magic energy again, Li ng shouted, "Not a chance!"
With a roar, the light tendrils behind him flared again.
Li ng turned into a radiant teor, shooting toward the Bone Dragon King at incredible speed.
In a flash, he slamd into the Bone Dragon King with a powerful punch, striking its armor.
Holy light and an imnse surge of energy erupted with explosive force.
With a deafening boom, a shockwave blasted outward, sending the mountain-sized Bone Dragon King flying several kiloters before crashing to the ground.
The impact sent dust and debris billowing into the air.
But before the dust could settle, a sudden change occurred.
The Bone Dragon King, now struggling to rise, sprouted more than a dozen new holes across its body.
Li ng froze montarily, realizing sothing.
He had assud the magic cannon was fired from the Bone Dragon King’s mouth.
Now he understood—those cannons were powered by its skeletal armor.
Compared to the larger hole on its head, the new ones were smaller, with a diater of about five ters.
A piercing shriek echoed again as over a dozen black beams erupted from the smaller holes, all aid at Li ng.
Unable to dodge, his space for movent blocked, Li ng had no choice but to brace himself.
The light tendrils behind him flared brighter than ever, forming an egg-shaped shield of holy light around him.
As the shield enveloped him, the black beams struck.
Li ng was instantly engulfed in a torrent of dark magic energy.
The holy shield shone fiercely within the darkness, while Li ng felt his magic being drained at an alarming rate to maintain the barrier.
The trendous impact sent him hurtling hundreds of kiloters away.
The blast tore through the clouds, piercing the sky.
A vast section of clouds was dispersed, allowing sunlight to shine down on the earth.
"My god!"
When the darkness faded, Li ng found himself far above the ground.
No, this wasn’t outer space—it was just so far up that the sky seed to vanish.
Above him, the space was pitch-black, with the sun now a blinding sphere of light.
The earth below curved visibly.
He hadn’t expected the magic cannon to launch him so far.
"What the hell is this thing doing?"
When he looked back at the ground, he saw the Bone Dragon King rising once more.
Around it, countless skeletons and corpses were crawling out of the blackened earth, clambering onto its body.
"This is disgusting."
Li ng’s face twisted in disbelief.
The Bone Dragon King was even more stubborn than a turtle.
He realized he couldn’t break through its armor without eliminating all the undead creatures reinforcing it.
To defeat the Bone Dragon King, its "turtle shell" had to be destroyed first.
Li ng suddenly understood that even his strongest attacks might not be enough.
"Is this what you call a chanic boss?"
"Forget it; I’ll deal with you later!"
Li ng had considered using a powerful, descending attack to end the Bone Dragon King.
But on second thought, he decided against it.
Defeating the Bone Dragon King alone wasn’t feasible.
It would require a full-scale war to eradicate the Undead Nation and its endless supply of undead creatures.
Only when the Bone Dragon King was the last one standing would it be ti for the final showdown.
Turning his gaze to the east, Li ng noticed seven mountains flying toward him.
These were akin to floating fortresses, though much smaller than true floating cities.
A floating city was an entire island in the sky, while these seven mountains were rely fortresses—likely airborne fortresses of the Undead Nation.
