Cherish Turner was massaging Mother Turner’s back while sitting beside her.
“Mom, do you think it could be?”
“What makes you say that?” Mother Turner was evasive and didn’t dare look at Cherish.
“I saw a picture of soone who looks just like , but I don’t think I’ve ever taken a photo like that…”
“Where?” Mother Turner suddenly grasped Cherish’s arm, looking tense.
Cherish winced at her firm grip and looked surprised. “Mom, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing, sweetie. What could be wrong?”
“Mom, you’re hurting …”
“Oh…” At her remark, Mother Turner quickly released Cherish, realizing she had lost control.
“It’s unlikely that there are two people who look exactly alike. It’s probably just a resemblance. Cherish, it’s getting late, and you have to work tomorrow. I really worry about you coming ho so late every day, sotis not even at all. I think you should quit your job at the comic studio and find sothing more respectable.”
“Mom, my job is perfectly respectable, and besides, I enjoy drawing.”
Mother Turner couldn’t argue with her, but thinking about the man Cherish had ntioned, she wondered if getting her married might be the answer, whether or not it was that man.
“I’ve never interfered with your relationship with Daniel, but what about this Mr. Griffith? What do you think of him?”
As for her relationship with William Griffith, Cherish didn’t know how to respond because she didn’t even know what their relationship was.
“To be honest, I don’t approve of the two of you dating. Rich people are different from us, and I’m really worried you’ll get hurt, honey.”
“Mom, don’t worry. We’re not like what you’re thinking!” Cherish started to feel annoyed when the subject ca up. Her parents’ attitude made her uncomfortable.
What should she do about William Griffith?
Should they go their separate ways or continue their entanglent? Their relationship seed to be more than friendship.

After chatting for a while, Mother Turner beca drowsy and told Cherish to go to sleep. She went back to her room.
Back in her room, Cherish felt that sothing was off but couldn’t pinpoint what it was.

That night, Cherish had a very long dream, with cherry blossoms fluttering under a tree, a flower, and a young man…
Cherish puckered her lips, wanting to kiss him. The man’s face was unclear, like an immortal, but Cherish was bewitched, imrsed in the feeling of love.
Then the wind blew, dispersing the mist. Everything before her eyes began to clear.
And then, Cherish slowly opened her eyes, and the previously unclear face suddenly appeared clearly before her!
