“I want to ask you…” Mother Turner looked up, eting Cherish’s eyes, and cautiously asked, “Do you like Daniel?”

“I hope you find a down-to-earth boy who doesn’t need to be rich, but can take care of you and treat you well, that would be the best…” Mother Turner spoke slowly and thoughtfully, as Cherish listened quietly without saying a word, the ice cream in her cup gradually lting.
Suddenly, she heard Mother Turner ask, “Are you still not over William Griffith, but, will he marry you?”
Her heart seed to lt like the ice cream at that mont.

The bright sunlight shone through the window, and the ice cream in the cup finally lted into icy water.

Going ho that day, Cherish didn’t et with William again. Instead, she returned to her own family on the 8th floor. Her parents were present, but seeing her unhappy expression, they gave her space and didn’t dare say much. Cherish rarely had a mont of peace, so she turned on the TV and watched it quietly by herself. The volu was turned up high, filling the entire living room.
