Chapter 526: Chapter 525: She Wants a Ho

On Sunday afternoon, Cherish had made an appointnt with Mother Turner. She woke up early in the morning and tidied up William’s apartnt, even cooking a al for both of them. At ten o’clock, William got out of bed and opened his bedroom door. He was wearing pyjamas, his black hair slightly ssy, as he scanned his surroundings leaning against the door.

The apartnt was clean and tidy, with the floor shining brightly.

The aroma of food lingered in the air.

Cherish ca out of the kitchen with a bowl of soup and glanced at him, “I cleaned the apartnt, and the food is ready. If you’re hungry, you can eat now. If not, just heat it up later when it gets cold.” She began to untie her apron as she spoke, leaving no thought of staying to eat.

“Going out?” William’s aloof and handso face tensed up as he asked casually.

Cherish just humd in agreent, not ntioning where she was going or who she was going with. She put down her apron and turned to leave. He stood in the bedroom doorway, watching her figure fade away, watching the apartnt door close, his expression suddenly darkened, and he remained motionless for a long ti.

After a while, he finally went to the bathroom to freshen up.

In the quiet, silent apartnt, William sat alone at the dining table eating his al. He took a sip of the soup and suddenly frowned.

The sunlight was shining, and at one end of the zebra crossing, Cherish looked so ordinary in the crowd that she could barely be noticed. After crossing the road, she suddenly paused and looked back.

It was the direction of the building.

But the apartnt…was not the ho she wanted. Returning to his side, if they were not to beco a family, then there was no need at all.

At noon, the sun was shining brightly.

The streets were bustling with people coming and going.

The barbecue restaurant was so busy that it was packed with custors; looking around, it was a sea of people. Cherish rushed into the restaurant, looking for an empty seat.

Soone waved to her and called out softly, “Cherish, I’m over here.”

Upon hearing the call, she slowly turned her head to see Mother Turner sitting in the corner, obviously having arrived early. She was wearing a pink knit sweater, with pearl buttons like a delicate blush. Her black hair was pulled up, making her look gentle and beautiful, with an even more tender expression.

Cherish couldn’t help but feel happy and a smile ford on her face.

She sat down in front of Mother Turner, stuck out her tongue, and showed a rare childish side, “Mom, have you been waiting long?”

“I just got here too.” Mother Turner poured her a glass of water and handed it to her.

Cherish hurriedly took the glass and drank more than half of it. She was quite thirsty after rushing all the way here. Holding the glass, she smiled and said, “Mom, I am so hungry.”

“Well, order sothing to eat.” Mother Turner imdiately waved the waiter over, and Cherish glanced at the nu and chose so dishes. Mother Turner looked at her small face, unable to hide her concern, “Cherish, have you been very busy with work lately? You seem to have lost so weight. You haven’t co ho for a while, and I know there are so things that are inappropriate for

to ask, but I still worry about you.”

“Not at all.” Cherish touched her face and squinted her eyes like two little crescents, “Girls look prettier when they’re thinner.”

“Nonsense.” Mother Turner also smiled and gently reminded her, “Your health is more important.”

The temperature inside the barbecue restaurant was quite high, and with the corner position, the sunlight shone down with its burning heat. In just a short while, both of them were already feeling warm. They took off their coats and sat face-to-face enjoying the food. The taste of the barbecue was very authentic and delicious. Cherish’s smile was bright, and she thought how happy she was in this mont.
