“See you in a bit.” Cherish Turner responded, and Grace Harper flew out like a little bird.
“Cherish, what about this dress?” Hailey Griffith took a gift box from the wardrobe and opened the lid, revealing a pearl-colored silky dress. There were no unnecessary laces or complicated patterns; it was a simple strapless dress with so pleats at the waist, emphasizing the figure and with a short, sexy hemline.
Cherish stared at the pearl-colored dress and murmured, “It’s so beautiful.”
“Co on, I’ll help you with your makeup.” Hailey put the dress aside and had Cherish sit on a chair. She took the makeup box and patiently applied makeup for her.
“Hailey, you don’t have to go through all this trouble…” Cherish’s words were cut off by Hailey, who said, “Just leave everything to
tonight.”
After applying the makeup, Hailey found a pair of gold glittery shoes.
This was a bit… embarrassing for Cherish to wear out.
Hailey was combing Cherish’s long black hair and said, “Not at all. This dress is perfect for you, and he…” She hesitated for a mont, then swallowed her words and said, “They’ve been waiting for a long ti, let’s go.”
In fact, Hailey wished that after William saw Cherish, he would directly unwrap her like a gift!
The delightful night was about to begin.
The main cabin had been carefully arranged and was now a grand party hall.
The n had all changed into suits, each looking handso and well-built as if they were top models.
Edward Smith looked like a charming young gentleman, while Yannis Griffith was naturally fashionable and wore a dashing black pearl-colored suit. William didn’t prepare anything special, but as a man of his nature, wherever he stood, he was a dominating sight that caught people’s attention.
Seeing William and Yannis chatting together from ti to ti, his black hair, dark eyes, and black suit presented a familiar sight. With his long, slanted bangs covering his eyes, the depths of his eyes sparkled unintentionally. His thin, cool lips curved into a light smile, revealing no emotion, but sohow still alluring.
Though the two brothers didn’t seem to have any unpleasantness between them, only they knew that underneath the calm surface, there was an undercurrent of tension.
Grace Harper entered the main cabin in a purple dress, capturing everyone’s attention. The asymtrical one-shoulder design highlighted her beautiful shoulder. She had her hair tied to one side, and the flowers on her chest were thoughtfully pinned to her hair, shining and blooming fragrantly.
She walked over to Yannis and naturally held his arm, presenting herself as the mistress of the evening.
It might have been because of her blush, but her cheeks were flushed.
“Grace looks really beautiful tonight,” William complinted her in front of Yannis without hesitation.
He did it on purpose. To let Yannis know that no matter how he felt about Cherish Turner, he still had Grace Harper by his side.
