In the deserted old Turner Family mansion, only a few scattered servants were taking care of things. Anthony Turner had been recuperating in the old mansion since coming out of prison. The incident from years ago had dealt him a severe blow, leaving his mind muddled and riddled with dreamlike confusion, unable to understand where he was.
Chloe watched her father’s dazed state with impatience, but tolerated it for her own sake.
“Dad, co and take your dicine. Let’s take it obediently, then take a nap, okay?”
Anthony didn’t respond to her, just staring at the fish swimming back and forth in the fish tank.
After a while, he suddenly turned and asked, “Little girl, where’s Cherish?”
Chloe took a deep breath. This was one of the countless tis he had ntioned Cherish Turner since she returned to the Turner Family. Chloe didn’t expect that, after all these years, her father still cared about Cherish so deeply – soone he t only a few tis – while ignoring her, his real daughter!
“Dad, Cherish will co to see you soon. Just take your dicine first, okay?”
The old man looked at Chloe for a while, then nodded. After a mont, he asked again, “Little girl, where’s Cherish?”
Chloe could only patiently answer him again and again.
If it weren’t for her desire to win back William Griffith, she wouldn’t let her father miss a daughter who didn’t belong to them, like Cherish Turner.

After giving her father the dicine and helping Old Master Turner to lie down and rest, a servant reported from outside that a young lady wanted to see her. The servant said that the lady looked just like Chloe, practically twins!
“Let her in.”
“Yes, Miss.”
Cherish Turner and Tanigawa arrived at the Turner Family ho together. Behind the heavy carved doors, hidden secrets awaited them. Cherish was curious, while Tanigawa felt that the people coming in and out of this house all looked strange and mysterious.
“You’re finally here,” Chloe began without looking at Cherish.
Cherish looked around the house, images flashing through her mind at lightning speed. She seed to have been here before but could not rember exactly when.
Her head hurt so badly, as if it were tearing her apart.
Chloe watched Cherish with cold eyes, observing everything.
Tanigawa was amazed by the two won who looked so alike! There were indeed people in the world who looked the sa! But clearly, they were not twins, as their ages seed to be quite different.
“What, rembering sothing? Cherish, after all these years, I still have to say this to you: Welco ho.”
In Cherish’s mind, soone’s face appeared – a woman with a red face, arguing with a man, repeatedly demanding to drive her out, drive her out! But she didn’t know who she was talking about driving out.
Then the scene shifted again, as if she were in a hospital. She was sweating profusely, only seeing the drops of red blood in the IV drip. Her body was in great pain, and there was… William Griffith, seemingly at her side.
What were all these images? Why did she have them in her head? Cherish felt a splitting headache suddenly as if sinking in an abyss the mont she entered the house, unable to free herself!
