“What would you do if one day, Auntie Cherish no longer lived with you?”
Lewis’s heart skipped a beat, “Dad, what do you an by that? It sounds quite ominous!”
Lewis obviously had a hard ti accepting this news. To be honest, he had already accepted that Cherish Turner would be his stepmom in the future. He liked her a lot, so how could he accept the possibility that they might not live together in the future?

“Did you upset Auntie Cherish again? Dad, you better be careful, you’re not getting any younger. Do you really think there are so many good won who would be with you for sothing other than your money? You can’t find soone like Auntie Cherish even if you used a lantern to search.”

“What if I miss her?” Lewis was getting anxious.
“You can see her. She likes you so much, Lewis. You can go.”

After two hours on the plane, Cherish Turner finally arrived in Kyoto City. Stepping out of the airport, she felt the land beneath her feet for the first ti.
She had never been to this place in her mory, but at this mont, she felt both familiar yet foreign towards it.
Kyoto City was much colder than the coastal city, as it was in the north. As soon as she stepped out of the airport, the wind blew sharply, like a knife cutting her cheeks.
Cherish snuggled deeper into her coat and left with Tanigawa in a car.
At the sa ti, Chloe Turner received the news that Cherish had landed in Kyoto City.
