Cherish Turner was at a loss for words. The feelings she didn’t want to admit to herself were exposed by Mr. Tanigawa, making her feel embarrassed. She blushed and lowered her head, saying softly, “I just want to find the child first. I don’t want to talk about anything else.”
Mr. Tanigawa’s eyes dimd. Cherish was avoiding, not really letting go of her feelings.
