Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Hidden Crisis

William Griffith’s car was parked downstairs of Cherry Blossom Garden, but the expected light didn’t turn on.

There was no answer when he called Cherish Turner’s cell phone, and then it was turned off.

Where had she gone? William couldn’t help but clench the steering wheel tightly with an icy expression on his face!

Cherish, your courage has grown bigger and bigger! You haven’t co ho so late and not even given him a call! It seed that he had been too good and indulgent to her!

The facilities at the budget hotel were quite simple, but fortunately, the heating was generous. Cherish Turner finally managed to get Daniel Peacock onto a bed, found soone to change his clothes, and finally settled down.

When she finally sat down, she discovered that her wet clothes were clammy and uncomfortable, and she felt cold.

She changed her clothes in the bathroom and put on a bathrobe, then hid in the bathroom to dry her clothes with a hairdryer. But the wind was too weak, and it took a long ti for her clothes to dry properly.

But how could she go out like this? The temperature outside was close to freezing, and she would definitely freeze to death in a bathrobe. She wanted to call for help, but Daniel Peacock’s phone was out of power, and there was no charger, while her phone was dead.

Cherish Turner suddenly thought of William Griffith. What was the big boss doing now? Would he call her?

What Cherish didn’t expect was that the first man she thought of when she encountered a problem would be William Griffith!

Right, what was his phone number again?

Cherish didn’t really rember his number, but she had a vague impression. So, she wrote down the digits she rembered on a piece of paper and dialed them one by one, eliminating incorrect numbers. Finally, she couldn’t rember the last two digits and tried several tis with the landline, but she couldn’t get it right and had to give up. It was too much trouble to call her parents at this ti and ask them to bring clothes, and if her mother saw Daniel Peacock here, there might be a fight!

With no other choice, she had to stay put, at least until her coat was dry enough to go out.

“Cherish…” Daniel Peacock called her na in his sleep, making Cherish pause.

She didn’t dare to approach him. Now, she felt that so trust between them had vanished. To her, their relationship was just an acquaintance, nothing more.

“Cherish…I’m sorry, I’m really sorry…” He continued to mumble, and Cherish felt a sudden sting in her nose.

Thinking back to when she used to send him money every month at the bank, her heart felt so full and warm. But now, those feelings had turned into sighs.

His apology in his sleep should be sincere, right? So, she forgave him.

However, after forgiving him, there would be no more ties between them!

Cherish got up, tucked the blanket around Daniel Peacock, and was about to go curl up on the sofa when he grabbed her hand.

“Cherish…” The man woke up groggily, opened his eyes, and saw the person he had been dreaming about right in front of him. His heart leaped with joy, and he embraced Cherish.

Cherish was startled and hurriedly pushed him away. Daniel Peacock looked hurt but sobered up a bit.

Looking at their current situation, he suddenly realized, “I…I got drunk. Was it you who brought

back? Cherish…thank you.”
