Teetering on the brink.

On the verge of collapse.

Li Wei was sprinting.

He knew he was like a stack of blocks about to topple, everything had already fallen apart, rely maintaining balance by the inertia of speed. Any slight touch of force, any little imbalance in speed, and he would scatter all over the ground, like a dismantled skeleton.

Not even one more second.

Accelerate. Accelerate. Accelerate more.

Now, like a runaway train, his body was burning, speed soaring, the speed even slightly exceeding what his body could endure. Yet, there was no way to stop, only to keep accelerating, stumbling into destruction amid layers of speed.

The only hope was that he would cross the End Zone Line before he was engulfed in destruction.

But.

The Trojans' Defensive group hadn't given up.

Marvell Tell, playing as Free Safety—the last line of defense for the Trojans—should have been the first to step up to defend, but another Safety, Strong Safety Leon McQuay, took the initiative to try to force out of bounds.

Unfortunately, he failed.

As a result, Tell was still the last line of defense for the Trojans.

Just five seconds ago, Tell had been joking with McQuay that in today's ga they might just be lounging around, but the Defensive group's performance was truly terrible; they should seriously consider stepping up early and joining the ranks of the Cornerbacks and Linen—

At least, the front line could help out.

After all, the quarterback of the Crimson Tide Storm didn't dare try a long pass.

Unexpectedly, the opportunity appeared right then.

Tell, of course, hadn't forgotten the opening rush of the ground offense—it was number twenty-three who took everyone by surprise, charging straight forward to score. But that was the beginning when they weren't prepared, which allowed number twenty-three to exploit an opening. The sa mistake wouldn't happen twice.

This ti, Tell was ready.

Stomp, sprint, exert force.

Tell's eyes flashed with a fierce killing intent, ruthless and ferocious, unreserved, charging toward number twenty-three like a rhinoceros, completely indiscriminate.

Charge! Charge, charge!

Leap, dive, crash.

Tell broke free from gravity's hold, soaring through the air.

However!

But!

Tell froze, what... what happened? Number twenty-three had also jumped up, adopting the sa leaping and diving posture.

Not just Tell, the entire audience's eyes widened in shock:

Gasp.

In their sight, Tell aid for Li Wei's knees, intending to disrupt his center of gravity from its base, forcing Li Wei to fall out of bounds with a low flight, but unexpectedly, Li Wei, in his teetering crisis, used the montum of the sprint to jump, breaking through the air like a circus perforr leaping through a ring of fire.

So, below was Tell, flying horizontally; above was Li Wei, soaring vertically.

Their paths crossed in a cross, and like this, their forms misaligned.

Tell, shocked, with a startled look in his eyes devoid of any other emotion, just a baffled stare, dull and wooden as he watched the figure above his head, completely at a loss for how things had developed to this point, and how number twenty-three could think of such a breakthrough path.

There wasn't even ti to panic or fear, the gears in his brain jamd, constantly repeating on the spot, all brutality and arrogance frozen in that mont.

Huff huff, huff huff huff, the wind howled, all sounds of breathing and heartbeats gone, breath held as they watched Li Wei continue to leap through the air.

Stretching, graceful, light, agile—

Then, curling up, preparing to et the impact with his shoulder, completing a complex sorsault action, and landed in the End Zone in a dive from the ten-ter board.

The move, a perfect ten.

Technique, a perfect score.

Difficulty, a perfect score.

Splash, a perfect score.

Completion, a perfect score.

Flawless.

Touchdown, achieved.

"Wow."

Speechless and stunned, the ABC broadcasting studio was completely astonished. Even though they had seen countless storms, they were still shocked by the scene before them at this mont. Their brains froze, unable to find the right words to describe what had just happened.

So, they exchanged glances, the smiles on their faces uncontrollably rising:

What had they just witnessed?

Just then, AT&T Stadium, amidst its excitent and frenzy, regained a hint of sanity. Tyree was the first to feel the power bursting from deep within his soul:

Edgerunner!

Once again, Li Wei perford a ground run with unmatched courage, dancing on a tightrope, testing the edge between life and death. He perfectly combined skill and strength, his tiptoeing feet and fluid movent weaving through the Defensive group's encirclent, piercing their hearts.

Danger and thrill, toughness and strength, stimulation and spectacle.

A performance, a feast.

Then, one after another, countless shouts joined Tyree's, instantly igniting the madness and passion of the scene.

In the studio, after exchanging another look, they realized they lacked much information. They should have been fully prepared for this ga, ready to take control and educate the audience, but now they looked like confused fledgling birds.

"Is AT&T Stadium now shouting for 'Edgerunner'?"

Soone asked, but no one answered, as everyone had a "you're asking ? How should I know?" expression and frantically started flipping through their docunts.

But seeing Li Wei's pitifully brief personal file ended too quickly on a re sheet of A4 paper, which had never seed so spacious.

"Edgerunner!"

"Edgerunner!"

The roar, overwhelming, rising like a tide.

In the end zone, after spinning head over heels, Li Wei stood up from a forward roll, standing tall and firm like a war god.

Quietly, directly, he watched the Trojans' fans in the stands. His fierce aura alone pressed down the tens of thousands of fans, grinding their cheers to the ground without a clenched fist, a roar, or a venting scream—a single glance was enough, filling the entire stadium with his presence.

Tough, dominant, and mighty, everything was perfect.

Three touchdowns, three different thods.

Li Wei completely dominated the ga with his performance, cutting off all worries and doubts about Derrick Henry transitioning to a profession by rewriting the ga.

Especially that recent touchdown.

Were the Trojans ineffective? Was Hayden caught empty-handed? Did the Trojans' Defensive group fail miserably? Was the capability of this team insufficient?

No, none of the above.

The Trojans had already created opportunities through surprise attacks, and their airtight short-pass defensive zone was like a maze blocking the path.

But!

Li Wei still relied on his individual abilities to forcefully carve open a path of survival, his continual stunning directional changes combined with the Edgerunner's breakthrough and final dive over the top created jaw-dropping "wow monts" one after another, truly elevating the ga to a whole new level.

Everything else was just a backdrop.

This was simply "showti" —

Wait, are they sure? They just used showti to describe Crimson Tide Storm's Offensive group, not the Defensive group, this Offensive group?
