Chicago, Soldier Field.

The fans could no longer contain their disappointnt, turning away in scattered groups.

After last week’s complete announcent of playoff elimination, this week the attendance at Chicago Bears’ ho ga saw a noticeable decline, yet most fans remained loyal, hoping coach Nagy could once again turn despair into a miracle surprise—

Who knows? Maybe they could defeat this season’s seemingly invincible Kansas City Chiefs?

However, hope, ultimately, remained just hope.

Not to ntion causing an upset against the Kansas City Chiefs, throughout the ga, the Chicago Bears were utterly lost, being thoroughly trampled by the two-ti defending champions.

Following last week’s sweep of the Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs still seed unable to fully release their anger and sadness over losing Felix. This week, arriving at the away ga, they unleashed an unbelievable killing aura.

Comprehensive suppression!

Relentless on both offense and defense, firing on all cylinders.

Every appearance by the Kansas City Chiefs players seed to respond to the taunts of their haters, countering more forcefully, more fiercely, more brutally.

Until all the voices had disappeared.

"24:0."

By halfti, the Kansas City Chiefs were far ahead, shutting out the Chicago Bears.

Initially, it was assud that the Chicago Bears’ top-five in the league defensive group could at least put up a fight and perhaps even dominate, but they were absolutely not outdone.

Yet unexpectedly, the Kansas City Chiefs offense’s hunger for victory and focus on the ga utterly suppressed the Chicago Bears. Mahos’ seamless passing attack ford a violent storm, leaving Nagy nearly breathless. In contrast, the Chicago Bears, with no playoff hopes, were visibly uninterested in battle, disintegrating amidst the opponent’s relentless onslaught.

What’s worse, quarterback Trubisky attempted to redeem himself, to prove to Li Wei and demonstrate that the Chicago Bears selecting him as the second pick was not a wrong decision. Instead, his hasty attempts led to nurous mistakes—

Resulting in two interceptions in the first half alone, his terribly poor performance plunged the ho team into despair.

The gap widened instantly.

At Soldier Field, spectators gazed at Mahos and Li Wei on the field, captivated:

If the Chicago Bears had selected either of them in the 2017 draft, their current situation might be entirely different; perhaps they could even have swapped places with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Regrettably, there’s no "if."

The nostalgia and remorse emanating from those eyes filled the entire field, blatantly expressing their feelings, nearly crushing Trubisky completely.

Trubisky: Do you all think I’m dead?

In the second half, the Kansas City Chiefs consciously slowed the pace, focusing on ground rushing, with reduced appearances of Li Wei, having Damien take on more tasks.

Yet the ground attack remained unstoppable; Damien was no exception either, his eyes ablaze with a burning resolve to complete his mission.

Then, again and again, the Kansas City Chiefs scored touchdowns—

Nagy looked at Li Wei with a shocked and hopeless expression, helplessly spreading his hands.

"Rookie, you this..."

This scene was the last straw that broke the cal’s back.

Even though there was still a long, long... long ti left until the end of the ga, Soldier Field truly couldn’t continue to endure such tornt.

Originally, the complete playoff elimination was already a heavy blow, and last season’s glory and happiness now increasingly appeared to be a perfect dream, a brief dream now awakened, returning to harsh, cold reality. The stark disparity was indeed unbearable, with postseason’s beautiful, magnificent fantasies turning into nothing but feathers scattered, not even in ti for anger, the bitterness choked off their breath.

Now, this nightmare continued to plumt into the abyss of despair; they couldn’t remain like fools at Soldier Field to witness this utter disaster, this tortuous, up-and-down season was truly too long, seemingly endless.

They’d had enough.

Finally, spectators began to leave early, large-scale and large-scale getting up to exit, leaving the already poor attendance at Soldier Field bleak.

No wonder even the straightforward Nagy couldn’t restrain himself, pitifully looking at Li Wei like a .

Li Wei, having scored a touchdown, followed the previous ga’s pattern, not celebrating but silently handing the football to the referee and turning to leave the field.

At this mont, seeing Nagy full of helplessness, and the wave of fans gradually leaving early, Li Wei stopped, walking toward Nagy.

In a rare mont, with the ga still ongoing, Li Wei gave Nagy a hug, gently patting Nagy’s shoulder.

"Sir, the ga isn’t over yet."

On the side, mbers of the Chicago Bears coaching staff, slightly piqued with curiosity, looked toward Nagy, "Coach, this rookie is really kind, even cheering for the opponent."

Nagy smiled wryly, "It’s not just support; it’s also a declaration, he won’t go easy on us."

Coaching staff mbers: ...

Silent as chickens.

Nagy shook his head, a wry smile appearing, the corners of his mouth weighed down as if a thousand pounds, barely able to turn up, "There’s no helping it, who made us run into the rifle barrel."

Although Nagy and Li Wei only spent a short season together, daily training and gas allowed Nagy to understand Li Wei enough—

Those haters shouldn’t have angered Li Wei.

Facts also proved Nagy’s suspicion, a single Denver Broncos still wasn’t enough for Li Wei to vent all his fury, and now it was Chicago Bears’ turn.

In Nagy’s view, this might still not be enough; the Los Angeles Chargers, heading to Arrowhead Stadium for the final regular-season ga to challenge the Kansas City Chiefs, need to take care.

In the end.

"37:3."

Kansas City Chiefs exited Soldier Field unscathed, seizing yet another sweeping, unchallenged victory, entirely pushing the Chicago Bears, who erged last season, back into the abyss without bottom. For Nagy and Trubisky, the nightmare of the offseason was just beginning; the real disaster was yet to co.

Trubisky, feeling heavy, could almost foresee the dia siege—

"2017 draft class, 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall picks, what are their situations today?"

Clearly, within this, Trubisky completely fell to the bottom. His past glory on draft day was splendid and happy, now the backlash was cruel and pathetic, coming back tenfold or a hundredfold.

Now, Trubisky finally truly understands what it ans to "the higher you stand, the harder you fall."

The third-year season, in the blink of an eye, is about to end, and next the fourth year is the final year of the rookie contract; there’s not much ti left for Trubisky.

Henceforth, whether it’s the Chicago Bears or Trubisky, they both need to start considering the future.

But, Trubisky’s confidence in his future with the Chicago Bears is dwindling bit by bit, not just with the Chicago Bears.

It’s no exception across the entire league.

Back then, with full confidence and high hopes, he stepped proudly into the professional league, eyes and chest filled with dreams; in a blink, three years passed, yet unexpectedly, the things he thought would happen never ca to fruition, and the future packed with hope and dreams ended with a question mark.

An eyesore.
