Shen Yanchen furrowed his brow thoughtfully, then said to He Ye, "Next ti you ss up like this, you’ll go up in the helicopter while I fire another shot from below."

He Ye swallowed nervously, "Brother Yan Chen, I was wrong... I relaxed my guard because I thought you’d been accompanying Little Sister-in-law these past few days."

Shen Yanchen just glared at her for a mont before walking back to Gu Qimiao’s side.

After about four or five hours of turbulence, Shen Yanchen finally brought her ho. She groggily opened her eyes, took a look around, then hugged a pillow and went back to sleep.

Shen Yanchen washed up briefly, changed his clothes, and went downstairs to make lunch.

While he was busy in the kitchen, she unknowingly walked up behind him, "Brother Yan Chen."

Shen Yanchen turned his head to look at her, then slightly frowned, "Go put your shoes on."

She ignored him, stepped into the kitchen, walked behind him, and her gaze fell into the pot.

Her pajamas were loose, and she looked small, just waking up she seed adorably foolish.

"Hungry?"

She was silent for two seconds, then proudly said, "I can cook too!"

Shen Yanchen chuckled, "Oh? Since when did you learn?"

Gu Qimiao said with pride, "When Jiajia was pregnant, I took care of her! I specifically learned, and I can cook quite a few dishes now!"

She looked at him expectantly, waiting for his praise, but he opened his mouth and said, "Then she and the child must have suffered."

"No! It’s really tasty! I ate it myself!"

Shen Yanchen smiled indulgently, "Go put on your shoes and co down to eat."

She looked around at the dishes in the kitchen before obediently going upstairs. Shen Yanchen kept a smile on his face; as long as she was around, life seed much more fun.

After all the hustle and bustle, both of them were a bit hungry.

She ate two bowls of rice in one go.

"Is there any place you want to go? I can take you out to have so fun," he suddenly asked.

"There’s still a lot to do at the company, let’s not. I haven’t drawn for several days..."

"I’m not docking your pay, if we don’t go on a honeymoon after the wedding, the dia will gossip. The dignified big boss of Sheng Han, gets married but doesn’t take his wife out for a trip, they’d think I was mistreating you."

Gu Qimiao: "...it’s not that serious."

Although she actually would love to go out with him, now that Gu Moming still hasn’t woken up, how can she be so unconcerned and just go out to play by herself?

Shen Yanchen saw through her thoughts and said, "We’ll leave for the Czech Republic tomorrow. I have work there, you can treat it as a trip and so scene searching."

Hearing that he had work there, and considering it would be a show for the dia about their honeymoon, Gu Qimiao naturally agreed. Plus, she had wanted to go to the Czech Republic for a long ti, now being able to go with him was a dream co true.

If only they were really married. That mont, she would truly be happy.

People aren’t content, always greedy for more. She used to be crazy happy just to be able to walk this far with him.

They rested at ho for a day, packed so things, and decided to leave for the Czech Republic the next morning.

He packed everything into the suitcase, and just as he was about to go upstairs to check if she was ready, he saw her sitting blankly at the bedside, staring at her phone.

Hearing his footsteps, she turned her head and asked with a slight frown, "Did Lu Jinxi die?"

Shen Yanchen frowned, glanced at her phone, and saw the news of Lu Jinxi’s death. The Lu family had arranged a grand funeral for him. After all, he was a figure in Mai City. Such news of his sudden death naturally caused a stir.

"It’s none of your business, don’t think about it. We’ll miss the plane," he said.

The report only stated that he encountered an accident while traveling on his private plane, without ntioning any other inside stories. The old couple of the Lu family must have been devastated, receiving such tragic news out of nowhere.

Gu Qimiao didn’t relax her frown, feeling guilty, "But he was saving when..."

"But if he hadn’t tried to take you away, none of this would have happened. He almost got you killed. You don’t need to feel guilty. Hurry down."

Gu Qimiao sighed. Lu Jinxi was pitiable; now that he was reunited with his Yinyin, maybe this was a relief for him.

Looks like he had always lived a tough life, held onto a mory that never truly belonged to him.

Perhaps this is the best ending. Maybe his Yinyin was waiting for him at heaven’s gate?

Upon boarding the plane and leaving the city, the suffocating feeling in her heart began to dissipate. In a new place, everything seed fresh, and the botherso worries were forgotten. All that mattered were the people and things in front of her.

He sat by the aisle, holding a magazine, but his eyes were closed, looking disciplined even in sleep, always ready for any sudden situation, making people feel secure.

Gu Qimiao looked at him mischievously, then moved the thin blanket on her to cover him a bit, then carefully snuggled closer to him.

But her cautious movent woke him up. He opened his eyes and looked at her. Gu Qimiao imdiately froze, forced a smile, and softly asked, "Did I wake you?"

He didn’t answer but asked back, "Hungry?"

"Not hungry, I’m going to the restroom."

"It’s just ahead."

She responded absentmindedly and left. Did he notice when she snuggled into his arms earlier?

Shen Yanchen watched her back, a slight smile tugging at his lips. He shifted to a more comfortable position, gazing out the dark window, tugging at the thin blanket that had fallen. Before long, he saw her walking back.

He moved to let her sit inside, then deliberately adjusted his position to lean closer to her, and before long, rested his head on her shoulder. He felt her body stiffen instantly.

"My neck hurts a bit, just need to rest it."

Gu Qimiao sat stiffly. "...Okay."

"We’ll be back by dawn, you should sleep too."

"Okay." How could she sleep with him leaning on her shoulder, his hair brushing her neck, his scent lingering at her nose, stirring her heart into disarray?

After a long while, the sky outside remained dark. He seed to be truly asleep, motionless. Feeling a bit bored, Gu Qimiao gradually relaxed, her head slowly leaning towards him, comfortably closing her eyes...

When she woke up, for so reason, half of her body was in Shen Yanchen’s arms, and he was already wide awake.

Gu Qimiao lazily shifted, his large hand reached over, gently wiping away the sand from the corner of her eye, and said softly, "We’re almost there."

She turned her head to look out the window. The plane seed to be descending, the scenery below replacing the monotonous clouds.

Once off the plane, she felt fully awake. The weather was gloomy and cool, and as soon as they stepped out of the airport, soone ca to pick them up.

Four assistants ca with them, three n and one woman, but they didn’t ride in the sa car and apparently weren’t staying in the sa hotel. After getting off the plane, Gu Qimiao didn’t see them again.

Once settled in the hotel, she took a shower, and by the ti she ca out, he had already unpacked their luggage.

They each freshened up a bit, then headed outside for a al.

The hotel was in Prague. After the al, they walked down the foreign-flavored streets as if strolling.

The afternoon sun wasn’t too strong, warming them pleasantly. The weather was comfortable, the streets filled with people coming and going, with street perforrs’ music lingering in their ears. The Gothic architecture added a unique charm.

"Not taking photos?"

Gu Qimiao shook her head. "Didn’t bring a cara, we can return to take them tomorrow since it’s so close."

Shen Yanchen smiled, naturally taking her hand. Gu Qimiao was initially startled, then relaxed, seeing it as a natural thing.

They walked past a couple taking artistic wedding photos, the white dress trailing on the ground, the couple intimately embracing and kissing for the cara.

Gu Qimiao shyly looked away, her mind replaying the mont he kissed her forehead on their wedding day.

She longed to take such beautiful wedding photos with him, yet their affection now was just for show. They both knew what their relationship really was, knowing one day they’d part ways.

Perhaps she wouldn’t get married again, and would cherish these mories as she aged.

She couldn’t help but glance back at the happy scene, feeling envious.

"Want to take so photos? We can co back for it next ti."

Gu Qimiao was stunned, then looked at Shen Yanchen and said, "No need, let’s save the money. Anyway, the news of our marriage is already out, let’s save where we can. Didn’t the wedding already cost a lot?"

"Are you really worried about money with ?"

Gu Qimiao knew he wasn’t short on money, but still felt uncomfortable. He didn’t have to help with her family’s matters, but he had done so much already.

"Let’s save where we can. It’s not easy making money."

Shen Yanchen chuckled lightly. This woman, though unwilling to be without him, still talked about divorce constantly.

Was she not planning to find a way to preserve their marriage?

After dinner, he sent her back to the hotel room, instructing, "I have sothing to attend to, will be back later. Don’t wander off."

"Okay, you go ahead."

"Call if you need anything."

Gu Qimiao nodded obediently, seeing him to the door. She opened her mouth, wanting to tell him to co back early, but only managed to say, "Be careful on the road."

He responded with a light "Hmm" and strode down the hallway, entering the elevator.

Gu Qimiao closed the door, left alone in the hotel room. She turned on the TV and lazily curled up on the sofa.

Before long, the phone on the coffee table rang with a "ding-ding." Seeing it was Fang Shaobei’s call, Gu Qimiao quickly answered.

"Mr. Fang."

His voice sounded tired but carried a faint smile. "I’ve been busy with the lectures in Paris and only just heard you’ve gotten married."
