In no ti, Zhao Heng and Xu Hongdou, following the handso External Relations guy, arrived in a large classroom.

Upon entering, Zhao Heng noticed that the room was already full of people; a table had been set up on the podium with a computer and projector and such.

The host was a guy with glasses, and there was a chair placed right in the center, empty, suggesting the main guest hadn’t arrived yet.

"What’s the event here?"

Zhao Heng asked the handso External Relations guy standing by.

Judging by the scale and the eager discussion among the students filling the room, Zhao Heng assud a well-known scholar or heavyweight alumnus was scheduled to give a lecture.

At Yanjing University, this happened quite often, given the high probability of graduates becoming elite mbers of society.

Once people make it big, it’s natural for them to return to their alma mater to give a lecture or sothing.

"A well-known scholar or a heavyweight alumnus might be coming?"

Xu Hongdou said.

"I think today it’s the Go player War Eagle coming."

The handso External Relations guy thought for a mont and replied.

"Huh? Go player? What rider? A delivery rider?"

Xu Hongdou asked curiously. To be worthy of giving a lecture at Yanjing University, the person must be a known figure. What’s this "rider" about?

"Not a delivery guy rider, but a professional Go player."

The handso External Relations guy explained.

"Oh, so it’s a Go player, that makes sense now."

Laughing at her mix-up, Xu Hongdou said.

"Ahem, is it the War Eagle teacher with the nickna High Nutg and Short-legged Tiger, sothing like 2-16 Go player?"

Zhao Heng half-jokingly said.

About War Eagle, Zhao Heng had actually t him once before in Yuejiangnan, though that ti he was with Ke Jie and Li Xiao.

However, coming to give a lecture at Yanjing University, it would probably be to promote Go, which isn’t surprising.

After all, at a comprehensive university like Yanjing University, there must be quite a few young people interested in Go.

"Even you know? How co I didn’t know?"

Xu Hongdou asked confusedly.

"You don’t browse Bilibili; you’re always on Xiaohongshu, of course you wouldn’t know, not surprising."

Zhao Heng said.

"What’s wrong with Xiaohongshu? Do you have a problem with Xiaohongshu? My sister and I both love scrolling through Xiaohongshu!"

Hearing this, Xu Hongdou said with so dissatisfaction.

"What did I even say..."

Seeing Xu Hongdou’s displeased look, Zhao Heng felt a bit helpless. For so reason, Xu Hongdou, who used to love arguing with her sister Xu Man Ni, now occasionally showed signs of liking to argue with him instead. What a situation.

Soon enough, a guy wearing gold-rimd glasses, looking very refined and obviously much more mature than the other students, walked over and held out his hand to Zhao Heng: "You’re Committee mber Zhao, right? I’m He Xiong, the Vice President of the Student Committee – President Duan Shuiliu is at a eting today."

"Hello."

Zhao Heng extended his hand for a brief handshake with Vice President He Xiong.

This He Xiong looked very gentlemanly and was clearly more mature than the average student.

Maybe that’s the hallmark of the Student Committee?

"Committee mber Zhao, do you know which area of work you’d like to be responsible for?"

Vice President He Xiong cautiously asked.

No other choice, as he got a call from the Head of University Administration in the afternoon, saying that they needed to add a committee mber, and it was specifically ntioned by Vice Principal Li Hongwei. He had to handle it cautiously.

Though in front of ordinary students, these Student Committee folks seed quite impressive and imposing, in front of the Head of University Administration, or Vice Principal Li Hongwei, they were nothing but small fry.

"You can carry on as usual; I’m not at school much."

Zhao Heng waved his hand and said.

Joining this so-called Student Committee was just for convenience. He had so many things going on; there’s no ti to be responsible for anything at school.

"Understood, Committee mber Zhao."

He Xiong felt relieved; it’s good that he’s not going to get involved. If the new committee mber wanted to take charge, it would have been tricky to manage.

However, he didn’t know much about this new committee mber, though the background must be robust, being connected to Vice Principal Li Hongwei, which was no small matter.

In the realm of scientific research, Vice Principal Li Hongwei was practically the face of Yanjing University. Even in the University Committee, Vice Principal Li Hongwei’s voice held significant weight.

"I wonder what subject Committee mber Zhao is studying? Is Vice Principal Li Hongwei your ntor?"

He Xiong tentatively asked.

Being a literature student, he wasn’t very familiar with the scientific community, he only knew that Professor Li Hongwei had recently developed two extrely important scientific achievents, which the president even ntioned at a university-wide eting.

"Yes."

Zhao Heng nodded.

Seeing Zhao Heng’s disinterest in conversation, He Xiong didn’t probe further.

However, the handso External Relations guy pulled He Xiong aside, seemingly wanting to say sothing.

"This suddenly appointed Committee mber Zhao, what’s his background?"

He Xiong asked the handso External Relations guy Li, puzzled.

This Li is a biology student and knows more about the scientific field than He Xiong does.

"He’s big, absolutely big-ti."

The handso guy Li said with admiration.

"Huh? Big-ti? In what way?"

He Xiong asked, not understanding. Mind you, this Li scored in the top five in the province for the college entrance exam; otherwise, he wouldn’t have gotten into Yanjing University.
