"A week has passed, huh!"
Bring his arm over his eyes to block the terrible sunlight from the window, Art with his other hand yanked the sleeping cloth of his body, then moving his legs slighty, placed them on the ground and sat up on the edge of the bed.
A week has passed since he was officially vented, a week has passed since he began his job as a teaching assistant of professor Villier and finally a week has passed since he successfully got his way out of a duel with Trish.
It was peaceful does day, sure Trish endless pestering was annoying and professor Villeir unhidden irritation for him was also annoying but he still sort of loved them in his own twisted way.
There was no plot to worry about, no villains behind the scenes and no problematic consequences he had to deal it but on that particular sunny monday morning all that peaceful days had ended.
You see to avoid stress, he might have forgo a particular problem to the current week.
The crazy swordswoman wanted a duel and he didn't want it so he made a bet with her, if she was able to defeat the main character of this world he will accept and unfortunately for him, the main character will be arriving this week.
When, he didn't know but he knew one thing for his peace he had to make sure Trish never fight with the main character still she was strong enough to handle that crazy girl or so he hoped.
"Valarie.... Valarie... Valerie."
Muttering her na like his life depended on it, he quickly rushed into the bathroom to freshen up for another in the education industry.
----------------
"Good morning professor Villeir."
Stepping into the academy grounds the first person he t was professor Villeir, dressed he his usual wizardry black garnts.
With a sleek black wand strapped to his waist he turned to et Art.
"And what is good about the morning."
Pushing his glasses up he responded in irritation.
"I don't know, the the sun or sothing." He shrugged.
"As expected your really are a fool."
"....."
"Don't give that dumbfounded look of yours. You speak of the warmth of the sun in the face of a vampire and expect him to be overjoyed."
For the first ti since Art ca to their institutions, the professor actually had a valid reason for calling him a fool.
"Anyway professor what is the agency for today?"
Following Villeir as the entered the corridors of the academy he inquired, the vampire paying him not much attention.
"I have a eting the the assocation."
"The mages assocation?"
"Do not interrupt !" Villier warned with a sharp glare.
"Yes sir."
"As I was saying I have a eting with the mages assocation as my T.A you should have been escorting but alas those fools do but take lightly to warriors."
"So an off day." Art smiled.
"No!"
He smile died as quickly as it ca.
"Since you're too unintelligent to handle my class and also because you're no mage, you be helping professor Grim in handling her classes."
"I...understand."
If Art was being honest he found it hard to approach the other teachers with Villier being the only exception. No he didn't not like villier not in the least but that's vampire paid little attention to him, so he could cut lose as much as he wanted but the other's especially Professor Grim not so much. He wasn't evil nor did he have any sort of bad intentions but he couldn't deny he would ca of as suspicious to others and if he beco too suspicious, much problems would arrive.
"Wait this could be my chance."
There were tis were his mories suddenly ca undone and he rembered minor details like one being Trish and Valeria sharing the sa class and another being professor Grim being their original teacher before Art took over the next sester.
"I'm joining the plot too early but there's nothing I can do."
For now he was going to use this change to prevent Trish from fighting with Valerie.
"If you done plotting whatever the heck you want then stop following ."
Professor Villeir was as grumpy as ever but Art was an adaptive fellow, a week had been all he needed to learn to deal with him so pretending as if he heard nothing he continued following the vampire until they arrived at the teacher's faculty heading.
The interior was large and bustling with activities especially since the new school term had just began.
There were the veteran tecaher go over their notes in preparation for the morning lectures, a few hardened one's noting down complex questions to threw at the unsuspecting first years. There was also the free spirited one's lacking the burden of a morning class and just chilling infornt of their desk chatting with their colleagues.
"I heard the association head will be invited to this year's rank gas."
"Well his granddaughter is among the first years, what did you expect... wait don't tell you believe he was a hermit."
"I got to admit he looks like one."
Passing by the conversing bunch he unconscious nod. He too had to admit that old freak from the association did look like a hermit...a really handso hermit.
"Professor Villier."
Reaching his desks, he gestured toward Villier whom desk was just beside his.
"What." He snapped pausing his light packing to glare at him.
The stare he gave him was frightening but Art had grow use to it, so he rely shrugged it off and replied," I just wanted to ask if a few tip about Professor Grim."
"And why ask ...go ask Cerci or sothing."
"Normally I would have done so but how do I say this..."
Blushing a bit, he coughed shyly.
"She's a bit too eccentric for to handle."
Looking at the young man acting like a flower boy, Villeir lips twitch his expression resemble one whom had just experience the most sour of taste.
If not for the policy of not attacking other teacher, he would have unleash the most horrifying spell in his arsenal on the boy but alas he was a respectable teacher so he cald down and did non of that.
"She's a paranoid freaked. If that is all you may leave, I find you presence unpleasant."
With no further elobartion, professor Villeir shooed Art away.
