After such a long ordeal, by the ti Yu Sheng and a few others got ho, it was already late into the night—Hu Li was so exhausted when she ca out of the puppet printing room that she flopped onto the sofa indicating she was going to sleep. Yu Sheng tugged at her tail to get her to return to her room, which led to the demon fox girl’s whining and then promptly followed by rhythmic snoring...

Soon after, she groggily woke up and wobbled her tail at Yu Sheng before stumbling back to her room—she went upstairs on all fours.

Luna doesn’t need sleep, but occasionally she has to return to her "iron coffin" for self-maintenance. Today’s her maintenance day, so after greeting Yu Sheng, she teleported back to the Otherworld Inn.

Soon, only Yu Sheng was left in the living room, along with a blond and a black-haired little puppet.

The sneaky sound of footsteps ca to his ears, and the other three Erins who stayed ho erged from various corners.

Counting the newly added blond tiny one, now there were five Erins clustered in front of Yu Sheng—the blond one looked up first and spoke: "Yu Sheng! This body of mine wants to sleep in the master bedroom too!"

"Didn’t we agree that all the new bodies you add will sleep on their own?" Yu Sheng was about to head upstairs, hearing the little puppet speak so righteously, he felt a bit helpless, "Besides, this is an original body—still cramped with in one room?"

"This body shrank too!" Erin said, feeling quite aggrieved, "I won’t take up space at all... And I’m just feeling uneasy... A body this small makes the big room feel so empty..."

Then ca a series of ramblings, like the bigger the hope, the greater the disappointnt, the experience of being 1.67 ters tall lasting less than two hours, being kicked out of the room with nowhere to go, the haunted room at the end of the second-floor hallway, and if not, all that’s left is the basent and attic, might as well sleep on the corridor... a string of mutterings anyway, finally, the five bodies squatted around Yu Sheng and started nagging together, making his head swell.

"All right, all right, sleep wherever you want. Anyway, four boxes can sleep four bodies, and one left sleeping on the bed won’t take up space," Yu Sheng surrendered, then added, "But just a reminder, if you kick people off the bed again, I’ll put you on the bedside table..."

Then he looked down at the five puppets squatting around him and rubbed his chin.

Truth be told, with another main control body added, the little puppet ford an increasingly round "introvert circle"...

Erin didn’t notice Yu Sheng’s subtle expression on his face, she was already cheerful—gaining the privilege to sleep in the master bedroom by being a nuisance improved her mood substantially, even temporarily forgetting the unfortunate situation of the new body’s height shrinking to 66.6 centiters, and the five little puppets humd all sorts of tunes while running towards the stairs, then used hands and feet to climb up to the second floor...

Yu Sheng watched the group of tiny figures leaping awkwardly and wriggling arduously as they climbed the stairs, feeling a bit speechless, finally couldn’t take it anymore, and stepped forward. But before he could speak, the group of Erins turned around and ran back to him, as if they had planned it all along, crawling over him in unison, hanging all over him in a blink...

The heaviest one made of reinforced steel sat on Yu Sheng’s shoulder, happily clapping her hands: "Upstairs, upstairs~~~"

Yu Sheng looked at the little puppets hanging on him, watching them bustling freely as usual, suddenly smiled.

Not bad, Erin is still Erin, the cowardly puppet of No. 66 Wutong Road, that’s just fine.

He stepped upstairs.

"Yu Sheng!" a voice ca from his shoulder, "Can you still study why my new body shrunk later? Maybe recharge it or sothing..."

"Sure, let’s do it after I wake up tomorrow, I’m really tired now."

"That works too... can I chat with you when you’re asleep? Like while you’re dreaming."

"No way, I need a good rest today—and can you stop ssing with my dreams? How about bugging Hu Li instead?"

"Hu Li’s dreams are dull, either eating or dragging you along to eat. No matter what kind of dream realm I try to guide her into, she can pull it back; it’s so boring~"

Then the puppet was silent for two or three seconds, suddenly recalling sothing: "Oh! I can go play in the Garden Network! Maris taught how to wirelessly access... she also said that during this period, I could find her as a guide as long as I’m online. Servo robots don’t seem to need sleep... I’m going to find other Alice Puppets to chat with! Wonder if they play gas..."

"Surely so do, the universe is vast, and there are so many Alice Puppets—by the way, can the Garden Network connect to the general network?"

"Oh, it can, Maris said the Garden Network is the oldest and most ubiquitous communication system in this universe, not only general networks but even the secret interfaces of the Special Service Bureau’s Border Communication include Garden Network, but I forgot how to access it... still need Maris’s help. Should I drag her into gaming too? Feels like robots might be really good at it."

"Do your best... don’t lead her astray, she’s Marlin’s assistant after all."

"How bad can playing gas together be? Could we even catch a virus from it~"

At the sa ti, in the distant border of the Feiyu Star Domain, high orbit above Shuji.

The heavy orbital platform "Spiritual Sparrow Platform" is suspended high above the mother star, with a hundred-zhang light bridge extending from the platform’s edge, shining brightly in the cosmos. Several large industrial Immortal Boats are slowly decelerating in the gravity berthing port on the side of the platform, while a few small rapid Shuttles are departing from the rapid transit ports near the gravity berthing port, cutting through streams of light, heading towards nearby space.

The destination of those rapid Shuttles is close, within the visible range of the Spiritual Sparrow Platform—an area at the sa orbital height as the platform, where a large space station, solemnly painted black, covered in heavy armor, shaped like a giant disc, is quietly floating in space.

The scale of the space station is more than twice that of the Spiritual Sparrow Platform, with wide, heavy armor belts interspersed with dim lights that slowly brighten and fade, moving along. Nurous attached structures cling to the inner ring armor surface of the space station, where turrets are densely packed, and powerful Shield Generators emit a radiant glow.

Such an ard fortress would be considered a daunting behemoth above any planet within any Civilization Circle, and in certain more remote areas, the self-defense firepower visible with the naked eye might even be sufficient to suppress a planet.

However, its current state is far from good.

The surface of the giant space station shows astonishing damage visible to the naked eye, with the most lethal being a gaping hole through its core area—the tear, stretching wide as a hundred ters, sparks flying inside, with hundreds of energy line leaks yet to be completely severed. The main area’s fire has been controlled, but repairing that giant tear is clearly no easy task.

The first batch of engineering teams has entered the opening, with their primary task being to find a way to segntally block the enormous tear, forming several main enclosed construction areas to lay the foundation for subsequent repairs.

Large chanical n have begun welding operations at the edge of the breach, with bright arcs visible even clearly in space.

An Immortal Boat featuring the emblem of Shuji Mo Family silently departed from the Spiritual Sparrow Platform and landed in a docking port within the inner ring area of "Black Stone Station" after crossing vast space.

Here is one of the few zones within the space station currently having normal energy supply and is also the main landing and gathering point for the inbound engineering teams.

The side door of the Immortal Boat opened, and Mo Ran, wearing a black gauze dress, stepped out gracefully with several family mbers onto the connecting bridge.

The airlock for entering and exiting the space station had been closed, but perhaps due to remaining faults in the circulation system, the air in the docking port carried a slight odor, and gravity in the bridge area seed notably weak.

Mo Ran glanced to the sides of the long bridge, seeing the vast storage area below the port, toxic smoke still lingering among tall stacks, dim lights illuminated the material tracks connecting to the stacking zone, where so drones were busy shuttling among the shelves, maintaining and inventorying the warehouse according to default procedures.

Mo Ran retracted her gaze, leading her family mbers across the port’s connecting bridge to the platform leading to the inner ring living area.

After passing through a semi-transparent energy barrier, the surrounding air quality noticeably improved, and the artificial gravity beca more stable and normal.

A Mo Family envoy who had been waiting there stepped forward imdiately, saluting Mo Ran: "Family Head, the Arglyde technical experts have arrived."

Mo Ran nodded: "Hmm, I’ll go see them myself."

In the resting area, Mo Ran t several "Star Scholars" who had hurriedly co from the Arglyde Star Domain.

With pointed, long ears, more beautiful looks than ordinary humans, and slim, well-proportioned physiques, along with unique nebula-patterned pupils that are recognizable throughout the Universe—Argylede Elves, a race quite familiar to Mo Ran.

The Feiyu Star Domain and Arglyde Star Domain are neighbors, with many border planets between them only a "jump" away through the Star Gate, and Shuji is one such border planet—even amidst recent economic recession, exchanges between Shuji and Arglyde remain frequent, and Mo Ran herself maintains good personal relationships with so Arglyde Elves.

After all, the Mind interference caused by the "Inference Star Body" mainly made the Guardian People’s minds unable to notice the crystal phenonon spreading across the planet’s surface, rather than annihilating their minds—allowing exchanges between Shuji and other planets to continue normally without exposing the "planet parasite."

This ti, Yu Sheng True Monarch entrusted the responsibility of repairing "Black Stone Station" to Shuji, and Mo Ran imdiately thought of her Arglyde friends.

After all, it’s best for Arglyde people to understand their own technology.
