The black hole above Old Days Manor was now completely frozen in ice, and the distortion no longer spread due to the ice sealing.

Herbert and Pei'er, who had been providing large amounts of magic power, descended.

"The Storm Eye's fluctuations have basically stopped. Next is to bury it back underground." Herbert said.

Although Corey still showed no expression, her chin rose slightly by five degrees.

"I'll leave this matter to the two lords. However, I'll maintain the continuous supply of magic power until the sealing is completely finished."

Corey glanced at Saul, seeming to want to instruct him about sothing, but just as her doll-like lips opened again, suddenly a trendous shattering sound rang across the entire plain.

"Crack!"

The enormous sound almost rang in everyone's heart.

The atmosphere that had just relaxed instantly tensed up again, more intensely than before.

Almost enough to tear people's chests apart.

When everyone first looked toward the frozen black hole, Saul first looked toward the mirror that served as the formation's power projection point.

Those looking at the black hole breathed sighs of relief, because the sealed black hole was still frozen in ice with no cracks appearing on it.

But Corey, who looked toward the projection mirror along with Saul, imdiately bit her lip.

The next second, Saul and Corey both jumped up and ran toward the mirror at the center point.

Arriving at the mirror, Corey imdiately began replacing the magic crystals around it, while Saul directly channeled magic power into the mirror surface.

One person maintained it while the other provided energy storage. Though they hadn't discussed it verbally, they cooperated with exceptional coordination.

When Corey finished replacing the magic crystals, Saul also withdrew his hands at just the right mont.

He looked down at a crack on the mirror, his voice grave. "Replacing magic crystals isn't a long-term solution either. No matter how smooth the mirror surface is, it won't be absolutely smooth in a physical sense. Scattering and loss are normal."

Corey was stunned. She hadn't heard so of the terms Saul used, but could completely understand them.

"Yes, but as long as we persist until Lords Herbert and Pei'er send the Storm Eye back underground, we'll succeed."

Before she finished speaking, a crack suddenly appeared on the mirror surface and was spreading, dividing into two, almost traversing the entire mirror.

At this mont, Herbert transmitted his voice, "Pei'er and I will imdiately begin sending the Storm Eye underground. You must maintain the formation for ten minutes without damage."

Corey clenched her silver teeth. Of course she hoped she could agree imdiately and reassure everyone, but the mirror's condition no longer allowed her to be stubborn.

"No! The mirror surface has already begun cracking. Any additional magic power will cause the mirror to completely shatter. Then the seal opposite will probably collapse imdiately."

"What? How could such a stupid mistake occur?" Herbert said angrily. "Then imdiately replace the formation. We'll use the original sealing thod."

But Pei'er said coldly, "The original sealing thod requires filling it with human lives. This Storm Eye appeared suddenly, and we were fooled before. There aren't enough living beings nearby now."

"Then use everyone present's lives to fill it."

The conversation between the four could only be heard by the four of them. Others still didn't know the sealing had developed irreparable errors. Seeing the black hole opposite still frozen in ice, they were waiting for the high-rank wizards to solve the problem.

"That's still not enough, unless you sacrifice yourself, Firefly Lord." Pei'er mocked his loss of composure.

Herbert narrowed his eyes and glanced at Pei'er, but didn't explode. Instead, he turned his anger toward Corey.

"You designed this formation. You must find a way to solve this, or use your life to buy us ti."

Herbert's voice began to sound strange, as if he had mouths all over his body, with the voice coming from his skin and internal organs.

Saul felt Corey's breathing hitch beside him, obviously sensing the pressure Herbert was deliberately releasing against her.

But Corey remained relatively calm and wasn't overwheld by fear.

She was already thinking of solutions. "The current problem is severe loss during the mirror's projection process. But I don't have have any mirror surfaces of higher strength. I can only try to repair it first."

Hearing this, Saul imdiately thought that he did have a mirror of very high strength and even stronger magical properties—the Baisek Magic Crystal.

But this mirror was only temporarily in his custody, and it still contained a strand of Pei'er's pure soul.

Saul looked toward Herbert without showing any emotion, glancing at Pei'er with his peripheral vision.

In his peripheral vision, he saw Pei'er slowly look toward the distant black hole.

Her head moved horizontally, indicating a shake of the head.

Pei'er didn't want Saul to take out the Baisek Magic Mirror.

Even at this crucial mont of sealing the Storm Eye.

"Then imdiately, right now, find a way to repair it! Saul, you also think of solutions. Whoever makes errors at this critical mont will pay with their life!"

Corey imdiately turned to return to the mirror, obviously planning to maintain the mirror's integrity first, then find a way to repair it.

But Saul suddenly raised his hand and pressed Corey's shoulder. "I have a solution."

He saw Pei'er purse her lips but ultimately didn't stop him from speaking.

Saul smiled slightly and looked up to address both Herbert and Pei'er simultaneously, "Sealing the Storm Eye requires considerable magic power. From current appearances, even the strongest projection items probably can't hold up. So my plan is, since we've temporarily sealed the Storm Eye, the next step is to use less magic to control the more powerful Eye Strom.”

"I borrowed a term you might be familiar with—leverage."

Herbert restrained the anger on his face and said condescendingly, "How do you want to do it? You'd better be confident before speaking. We don't have much ti."

Herbert still preferred directly piling up human lives.

He feared more accidents without ti for continued rediation.

Corey couldn't help asking, "How will you do it? Leverage to amplify range? Then strength would be reduced. Or amplify spell strength? Then our formation would need to expand several tis over. There might not be enough ti to rearrange it, and the mirror couldn't withstand even stronger magic power."

Saul raised his hand to stroke the crack on the mirror. "The mirror can't withstand it, so the formation can't target the entire Old Days Manor anymore. We need to concentrate our power on that black hole. At the sa ti, to strengthen our power without rearranging the formation..."

Saul turned to look at the black hole still frozen in ice.

"...we need to place this mirror closer to the Storm Eye."

Corey stepped forward with a wooden expression. "I'll go."

"You're not familiar enough with the pollution here." Saul looked Corey up and down without reservation. "At least you're not adapted enough to pollution."

Corey grabbed her belt, her large pearl-black eyes unblinking.

A wizard still using magical tools to isolate Borderland pollution definitely couldn't penetrate deep into the Storm Eye. People with no resistance would beco much sicker after infection.

"Then..." Corey sowhat couldn't believe her own guess. "You're going?"

Anyone present could see with their eyes that penetrating deep into Old Days Manor's range was currently very dangerous.

Though the Storm Eye was temporarily frozen, who knew when it might break through the seal?

If the seal suddenly couldn't hold while placing the mirror, those within the Storm Eye's affected range would be very dangerous.

The third-rank wizards present definitely needed to control the situation and be ready to implent the second sealing plan. They couldn't risk it either.

Could Saul be going personally?

Several people looked toward Saul.

But Saul leaned back, looking past everyone toward a corner away from the crowd.

"Kist, don't you have nothing to do?"
