"How did you find out?" Rosemary was amazed by his information gathering skills. David had been staying ho for the past few days, the new tune wasn’t even recorded yet, how did Roo find out so
quickly?
"He was showing off to last night."
Rosemary was speechless. So that was how it was.
Rosemary caught a hint of jealousy in his words, and she chuckled, "If you like, I could write a song for you next ti."
"Really?"
"Really."
Roo reached out to stroke her hair, "I knew my fiancée had in her heart."
Once Rosemary wrote a new song, he would show it off to David, to let him know who was in Rosemary’s heart.
They arrived at the largest rose sea in the neighboring city.
Rosemary noticed seven or eight photographers waiting at the entrance, all of them respectfully greeted Roo when they saw him.
Roo had hired the best photography team in Solterra?
"Let’s take so couple photos first, we’ll wait until you’re ready to take the wedding photos," Roo had booked the entire rose sea just for them today. Carl personally delivered four large boxes of outfits, all prepared by Roo.
One box was for Roo, and the other three were for Rosemary, filled with beautiful long dresses, various hair accessories, jewelry, and so on.
Rosemary thought they were just going to look at the flowers today, so she didn’t dress up. She didn’t expect Roo to be so thoughtful.
"Mr. McMillian, could you lift Ms. Rose? Yes, just like that."
"Ms. Rose, could you lean on Mr. McMillian’s chest and give us a smile."
"Mr. McMillian, you could pretend to be taking a picture of Ms. Rose. Ms. Rose, you could lower your head and sll the flowers, yes, that’s the pose"
After an hour of cooperative shooting, Rosemary was exhausted. There were assistants holding umbrellas for her, wiping her sweat, and even bringing her drinks.
Rosemary suddenly had a feeling that they were taking wedding photos.
A variety of drinks and food were placed in a spherical glass room by Carl, waiting for them.
"Let’s go over there and rest for a while." Roo gently put his arm around Rosemary’s shoulder, waving the photography team away as he held an umbrella over her
"We’ll have lunch here." Roo said as they walked, "Do you like roses?"
"You’re not going to plant a whole field of roses for , are you?"
"If you don’t like it, I won’t."
"This rose sea is indeed beautiful, but let be clear in advance, don’t move a whole field of roses to my house."
She once ntioned that she liked marigold, and before long, Roo had a large field of marigold planted at Moon Villa.
"So, you do like roses?" Roo walked into the spherical glass room, where the air conditioning was set to a low temperature. Rosemary had just taken a sip of her drink when soone handed her a contract.
Roo signed it and handed it over to Rosemary.
"Do you still have work left for today?" Rosemary was a bit puzzled. She took the contract and realized it was a resale agreent for the rose sea.
Roo had bought the rose sea and was giving it to her.
"From now on, this is yours." Roo tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, his gaze and tone filled with adoration.
Carl wondered why they were showing off in front of him, a single person. Had they ever considered his feelings?
The next mont, Roo kissed Rosemary, the two embracing each other passionately.
Carl, who was halfway through his drink, suddenly stopped, worried about making a sound.
He thought, can he ask for leave and go ho now?
Why!
Why did they have to punch him in the soul!
Wasn’t working overti painful enough?
After what seed like a long ti, Roo stopped, his eyes only on Rosemary.
David finished his endorsent shoot, it was already completely dark. He took out his phone and called Rosemary, "Rose, have you eaten? Let’s go out for dinner."
"I’ve already eaten." Rosemary’s calm voice ca from the phone, "You just finished work? Haven’t you eaten yet?"
"Not really." David didn’t want to worry her, he laughed awkwardly and lied, "I’ve eaten already. I just wondered if you needed to eat so more."
"David." At this mont, his manager hurried over and whispered in David’s ear, "The $100 million Mr.McMillian promised you, he said he’d give it to you privately."
"Got it."
"He asked you to wait, saying he needed to save money for his wedding in the next few years. After he’s done with the wedding, he’ll transfer the money to you."
David was speechless.
What was that supposed to an?
He will transfer the money to him a few years later?
Was that sly fox not planning to pay him at all?
So did he work for nothing today?
Damn it.
The next morning.
Rosemary had just arrived at the office when she got a call from Jai.
[Boss, have you ever heard of Dawn Departnt Store?]
It was a large departnt store newly built by McMIlian Corporation this year, located in the pri location of Sumrfield. With an area of 400,000 square ters, it housed the most popular luxury brands.
Ordinary wage earners probably wouldn’t even have the courage to step in, because even a small item, like a water glass, was worth hundreds of dollars.
Rosemary was calm, "I’ve heard of it, what’s up?"
[Mr. McMillian has vacated twenty shops in Dawn Departnt Store, officially inviting LY to settle in.
Rent–free for a year. We’ve set up the venue and moved the clothes and jewelry over. It’s the 99th branch nationwide. Do you have ti, would you like to co over and have a look?]
"When did this happen?" Rosemary was completely unaware.
[Half a month ago, Mr. McMillian wanted to surprise you, so he didn’t let tell you.]
"And you actually listened to him?" Rosemary retorted.
[One is my current boss, and the other is my future boss, how could I not listen to him?]
Rosemary stood up, "I’ll go take a look."
Half an hour later, she arrived at Dawn Departnt Store, looking at the row of LY stores, she couldn’t
help but take out her phone and call Roo.
Roo was in a eting, he saw his phone vibrating, signaled the Finance Minister to pause his report.
The eting room was dead silent.
Roo answered the call, his tone beca gentle, "Rose, you wanna talk to ?"
The forty–nine senior managers sitting at the conference table were stunned. Was Mr. McMillian in love? Did he have a girlfriend? And he even called her Rose..
