"Us!?" Father Black chuckled, "lets just say we want a certain pact. For example, an acknowledgent with the God mountain that states that you will defend the earth and the its people, your worshippers if any harm were to happen to it." Father Black had an innocent look on his face.
However, Deter raised a brow, "is that all?" she asked again. After all, the request was too much a simple one. Then again, if they had temples on earth, they would not mind rushing in to save the mortals that provided their existence sustenance.
The rules seed too simple. In fact, it was just too good to be true. they would be having access to earth and the possibility of gaining worshippers that will fuel their faith once more and all they had to do was a little guard work.
Then again, they had been doing guard work for mortals until before the apocalypse. Of course, back then, they did it from a point of contempt and laziness. however, it was still essentially the sa thing.
Deter nodded her head, "I see, these terms of yours are actually acceptable. I will have to talk with the other gods about this. It would not be easy to co to an agreent you know!"
Father Black raised a brow. In his mind, he could not help but think this woman was taking him to be a fool. After all, her real body was not here. Also, she might not be a top god in the god mountain, but even as a major god, she was highly respected. This eting was definitely being broadcasted to the other gods.
He knew that as of this mont, the other gods were already aware of this conversation. She was only trying to put ti lapse on it so that she would not co off as being desperate.
However, he did not have such ti. A Royal demon Armada was already at their door steps as a result of Lenny’s ever daring ideas.
It was best to have the god army now!
Father Black suddenly sighed, "I understand. After all, gods were never the type to make quick and sharp decisions. You know even in the mythologies, you guys were quite slow, which led to a lot of deaths.
At least back then, the human population was a lot, but right now..." he shook his head. "In a week’s ti, we might all be dead and gone."
Those words made her frown, and a brow twitched, "wait a minute. It would seem that most of the gods in charge of decision making are available. We will give you a reply shortly."
At such a ti, Clawed rembered sothing important. He whispered into Father Black’s ears.
Father Black nodded. "Also, among those terms, we need the weapon that Loki used against the Emotional Entities. We are aware that it is of god origin. And of course, a bit of information of god technology here and there... you know, just in case we have another Entity issue or we have a problem with a stray god like Loki."
"Firstly, that weapon used by that betrayal is not mine to give. It belongs to Hera. I have no jurisdiction on that, and we are not on exactly... ’friendly’ terms.
Secondly..." Her palm slamd against the Table instantly turning it to dust. "How dare you tell to give you a god killing weapon!"
However, regardless of her outburst, father Black did not seem moved. Instead, he waved his hand, and from the ground, another Table ford up.
"Lady Deter, please, i employ that you calm down a bit. It was not my desire to vex you. Its...its just that we both clearly have an enemy in Loki, and just as you have the ans to take care of him, we want the ability to be able to defend ourselves against him."
"We, the god Mountain will deal with Loki. You do not need any..."
"But we do... At least the innocent helpless humans need sothing. You just said it would be a while before you gods co to an agreent. should they all die by then?"
As Father Black talked, Victor, like the others, listening attentively could not help but see first hand, how wicked Father Black could be.
Every ti Deter was about to bring up and opposition, he would use the weakness of dying people against her.
Slapping her suggestion down again and again.
As if that was not bad enough, he was using it as an opportunity to milk them properly.
Victor, by now, could already tell the general idea of the kind of person Lenny was, but it would seem like the other Family mbers also inherited his heartlessness in one way or another.
Deter kept shut for a while, as if deliberating within herself. In her mind, she swore to make sure that she got back At Father Black for this. He was literally shooting them in the foot.
Nevertheless, as things stood. A lot could not be helped. After all, they were helpless and dying. Even if it was just a stray of hope, they had to hold on to it as best they could, hence they drown.
Deter suddenly raised her hand to the sky. Her hand glowed in a faint green light, and then she brought it down.
Everyone at the table, connected with the eighth earth suddenly felt a gathering body just outside their ho.
Father Black chuckled in his mind, "it would seem that the gods have sent a fleet. It is even far bigger than the one that ca to invade us. Lenny was right. They are indeed desperate. If only I knew, I would have even asked for more...milking them of everything they had."
Deter waved her hand, using a long finger nail to make a cut on her skin. Blood flood out. This blood although not her own, was infused with her Faith essence. Essentially, this was her finger print.
Father Black did the sa. his blood glowed a slight white, representing the Lenny Family.
