Hour after hour after hour of sitting on the bed, unable to escape from here. From ti to ti, my strength would weaken even further from long-term exposure to the drug.
It took a while to realize that Dr. Portford slowly increased the dosage of the drug every ti she felt that I was fully conscious and trying to limit my ability to escape. I was stuck there feeling nauseous from the extraction of my blood.
From what I had felt throughout this nightmare, they would replace the needles and tubes they were using after a few extractions, leaving a ti gap for inserting a new needle into my veins.
"They are smart, I applaud them for that," my Mind spoke.
Internal conflicts had happened multiple tis since I had been used as their source for their experints. "The one nad Dhalia is indeed smart. However, she is fairly inconsistent in administering the Dragon Moon extract solution," my Body countered.
"Really. Then you believe you have figured out the pattern. How many tis has she administered it? Six or seven tis already, and the dosage increases gradually. Making it difficult to beco resistant to it."
"That is how she wants to remain. She is ticulous and understands how demons react to it. She also has an idea of how I react to the drug. She doesn't want to kill ; at the sa ti, she is limiting my activity."
"You do admit you are in a predicant you cannot escape. Then why do such a futile thing?"
"I only acknowledge what she is executing and analysing the problems of it."
The beings in my head, slowly becoming frustrated, spoke up against my Body and Mind. "Enough, both of you!" Aro commanded. My Body and Mind ended their bantering and listened to what had to be said.
"You forget that your environnt is quite a useful asset," Aro told them.
They were both silent. Not knowing what to say.
Fragius stepped in and clarified her words. "There are those who are not Dhalia in the building who can help you escape. Use them to your advantage!"
Those words lingered as I lay there. I guess I underestimated her.
Later, I was able to open my eyes again, and a few people were in the room. One was humming a lancholic tune, the other was cleaning the cardboard filled with an assortnt of glassware, chemicals, and dical tools. Two more were in the dark area to my left, ominously staring at .
The two were whispering to each other about . "What is so special about him?" one asked. I couldn't see their faces, making it difficult to see their expressions.
'I can tell their disgust.' I thought. I wanted to use their help to get out. So, I muster enough strength to speak.
"I need your help," I spoke weakly. One of them in the corner looked at , while the other in front looked back at them. "Don't think about it. You will only get yourself into trouble or die." they said to them. The one in question sighed. "What if he is key to our escape?" they had asked.
"Ugh, you are very stubborn! Go ahead, go get yourself killed for all I care!" they said. Then they walked out of the room.
The cleaner's carried on with they jobs without stopping, not interested in the conversations that took place.
"They don't care as much," the remaining one spoke.
They then erged out of the dark corner. They had a petite feminine figure. She wore a pink sleeveless crop-top, blue jeans with a belt that had a crest on it. On her neck was a black choker. Her hair was shoulder length, luscious and black. She had heterochromia, where her left eye was hazel and the other was erald. Her face was small and she wore a sly smirk on her face.
She stood placing most of weight on one foot and her resting on the other hip. "I have a proposition for you," she said.
I slowly nodded, accepting her deal. "Hmm, you are quick to accept than you I expected. I will help you out, but I want to join you as well," she said. Then she moved closer to and leaned over . Her face was very close to my ear.
"I could help decrease the dosage for you. All you have to do is pretend long enough until you have the strength to escape."
Looking at the cleaners while she whispered into my ear, I noticed how slow they were doing it. They were listening, well, trying to listen. Then tily footsteps walked toward the door.
The woman beside stood up and walked away from . Dhalia then walked through the doors. She then instructed the cleaners to leave the room, and they did. "Umm, ma'am. Why don't you allow to administer this shot?" she asked.
Dhalia stared at her intensely, while at the sa ti considering her request. She had decided and spoke, "Very well, Cory. I have sowhere else to be at the mont," she said conclusively.
Cory went and took the syringe from her. Then she left her with .
Waiting for a mont, Cory needed to make sure that she was gone, and that would an she is free to do as she pleased.
"Okay she is gone," she spoke.
Rushing over to the sink, I kept my eyes on the door, and I looked back at her. She removed so of the drug, placed the syringe on the sink, grabbed a cup, filled it with water, dipped the needle in the water and pulled the plunger. She rushed over to and said, "This is not the best way to do things but it's better than nothing. Oh, it's going to hurt a bit a bit."
She then inserted the needle into my skin and administered the diluted drug into my blood. I couldn't feel any pain due to the effect of the drug. "This should do for now. I will have to get assigned to administering this to you. It may not be guaranteed, but be patient,"
After a few minutes she had left and the drug took its course. It was weaker but it still was strong enough to knock out. However, it allowed to regain more of my strength.
I really don't know how long it has been since I was stuck here. It was hard for to keep track.
Waking up a few hours later left to bare witness to Dhalia slapping a man and shouting at him. "Dr. Gauss, how do you not know who is ssing with the drug! And could you explain to how we have less blood from yesterday?"
My groan interrupted her. They both looked at . She looked furious and Gauss was terrified. "You!" she exclaid. Storming toward the cardboard, she grabbed a scalpel and approached . She stabbed in the right shoulder and twisted the scalpel. "Tell who your accomplice is?" she demanded.
I winced at the pain. She saw that I wasn't going to say anything and grabbed one of the clones by their hair, dragged them toward and made look at their terrified faces them. "Tell !"
I remained silent. She was frustrated and used the scalpel to slit their throat in front of . They tried gasping for air, only choking on their own blood. She let go of their hair.
She ended up by the sink washing the scalpel. "I will find them and kill them, Captain." She threatened. "Once I do, I will make your stay a living nightmare."
"I will get out of here soon, and destroy this place," I told her.
Then she screeched in frustration and rushed over to with the scalpel in her hand ready to stab . Gauss stepped in front of her and tried to reason her to stop. He succeeded in that, but I had to remain calm through the situation.
"Shit! I can't help you anymore. She is looking for the one helping her out. I thought I told you to pretend to be drugged!"
